Pressure Sensor
This pressure sensor is intended for gas or liquid measurement in agricultural and
industrial environments. The sensor’s measuring range of 0-100 psi is ideal for
watering applications and suitable for other gas or liquid applications in livestock
houses. The sensor is protected by a sturdy stainless steel housing and provides a
4-20 mA output. Requires EDGE software version 2.5 or higher.
1 - INTRODUCTION
Only properly trained service personnel may perform installation and service
procedures. (In other words: electricians, service personnel employed by or active
in an organization, business, or service).
All power sources must be disconnected prior to wiring and installing.
Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can damage equipment and impair electrical
circuitry. ESD damage occurs when electronic components are improperly
handled and can result in complete or intermittent failures.
Warranty is void if the Legacy Connect is used in a manner not specied by the
manufacturer.

Functional Ground Terminal. Primarily used for functional earth
terminals which are generally associated with test and measurement
circuits. These terminals are not for safety earthing purposes but provide
an earth reference point.
Protective Earth Ground Terminal. Primarily used for protective earth
terminals. These terminals connect to conductive parts of a device for
the purpose of safety and is intended to be connected to an external
system for protective grounding.
WARNING: Read the following text carefully; it contains important
information which, if ignored, may cause the controller to operate
improperly.

7 - CONFIGURING EDGE SOFTWARE ALARMS FOR PRESSURE SENSOR
1. Select the Setup Icon.
2. Select the room you wish to add the alarm to.
3. At the bottom of the page select the Alarm button.
4. Select Generic Input.
5. Select the sensor you want to add the alarm to.
6. Select Use low alarm and/or Use high alarm and enter the specic alarm threshold you want.
7. Adjust the Recognition time.
8. Select Main alarm relay if you would like this alarm to trigger the alarm system.
9. If congured, the system can trigger an EDGE Alarm relay” to perform a secondary function that responds to the alarm. An example of this might be closing a relay to shut
o the water supply based on the low alarm threshold.
1. Select the Equipment Congifuration Icon.
2. Select the room you wish to add the equipment to.
3. Scroll down and select Generic Input.
4. Select the Add or Copy equipment button.
5. Name the Sensor as you choose and then select the Signal Type, Units and
Precision as shown below.
6 - CONFIGURING EDGE SOFTWARE FOR PRESSURE SENSOR
NOTE: To complete these steps, you must have Setup Privileges.
NOTE: The Expansion Box, Slot and Input are site-specic and determined by where
the sensor wiring is landed.
6. Select the Home Screen Icon.
7. Scroll to the room you added the equipment to and select the generic
input tile.
8. Select the sensor and check the “Show on tile”. Up to 3 inputs can be shown on a
