Health & safety precautious
Before operating the equipment, please read the user guide carefully and follow the instructions.
profiBINDER&CLOSER is designed to bind documents only. Do not use the machine to punch hard materials
such as metal it may result in damaging of the machine.
The device must be placed on a sturdy and level surface.
The equipment should be protected against dust and moisture. Do not allow any liquid to get inside the unit
The equipment should be kept out of reach and away from children and animals.
Pay special attention while stretching the plastic comb open.
Pay special attention while clamping the wire comb. Do not reach or put fingers into the pressing slot danger of
injury!
Recommendations
Use only recommended supplies and accessories
The equipment is designed to bind documents with plastic and wire combs only
Unpack and install all the elements of the device ready to operate
The device must be placed on a sturdy and level surface
Before binding important documents, test the settings of the equipment on a sheets of paper

Not complying with the above recommendations can result in, the guarantee/warranty
being made VOID.

Application
The machine is designed for binding punched paper and plastic or paper covers with plastic ( φ6 mm up to φ50mm )
or wire (3/16" - 1" ) combs
Operation
Binding with plastic comb:
Install metal paper support on the front of machine.
Choose correct comb size using chart below showing comb and sheets. SEE construction diagram

Put the plastic comb on to the comb expander mechanism on the top machine with the comb opening upwards
Push the handle (7) backwards gently to open the comb
Fit the punched holes of the documents on to the opened comb, front cover upwards
Pull the handle forward slowly to close the plastic comb
Remove bound and ready documents from the comb plate
Binding with wire comb:
Install plastic book support (4) at the back of machine.
Choose correct comb size using chart below showing comb and sheets. SEE construction diagram

Hang up the wire on hooks.
Insert sheets of paper into the open comb. Put the wire comb with the documents into the wire
binding slot.
- Machine is equipped with the magnet which attracts the wire comb into the pressing slot.
Push down the appropriate binding key (6). Upper line keys arte for 2:1 wire and lower line for 3:1 wire
Press the pressing handle (5) down in order to clamp the wire comb precisely. Release the handle
Take the documents out of the pressing slot – the documents are ready!
Note!
When the wire comb is not closed enough you must take the book support (4) off and on front part of machine add
special binding plates (3 pics of 1 mm or 3 pics of 0,5mm). Rugged side of each plate must be directed inside the
machine. Next fix the plastic book support and close wire comb once again.

Maxiumum length of bound document is 340mm. For longer documents take off removable baffles (2).
