Introduction
Thank you for purchasing our Portable Induction Cooktop, and welcome to the Ivation™ family. This user manual is meant to
offer you a brief walkthrough of the device’s features and usage protocols. For additional information and technical support,

Intended Usage
This easy-to-use, ETL-approved induction cooktop is an independent cooking station that works with a wide range of modern
pots and other cookware that are induction cooking-compatible. Its portable size and relatively light weight make it the perfect
solution for camping and other trips, enabling you to prepare fresh hot food virtually anywhere you can find a standard wall outlet.
Safety Information
The information contained in this section is provided for your own safety and the safety of others. Please be sure to read this
manual carefully, use the appliance in accordance with these instructions, and keep the manual in a safe place for future reference.
- Individuals who have a pacemaker or similar medical device should consult with their doctor before using the appliance. The
cooktop creates an electromagnetic field when turned on, and although unlikely, may interfere with such a device.
- Keep away from open flame and wet area; do not plug in with wet hands.
- Do not plug into socket being used by any other appliances.
- Do not use if cord is damaged or if plug does not fit socket safely.
- Do not disassemble. Unit contains no user-serviceable parts.
- Keep away from children at all times; never allow children to operate unit.
- Use only on stable surfaces. Do not move unit while pot or pan is on it.
- Do not heat up empty pot. Pay attention to keep pot from overheating.
- Do not place metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons, lids, cans, and aluminum foil on cooking surface.
- Allow sufficient space around unit. Never block air intake or exhaust vent.
- Do not use on carpet, vinyl, or any other low-heat-resistant surfaces.
- Never place paper between pot or pan and cooking surface. Paper may burn.
- If cooking surface cracks, switch off immediately and seek professional repair.
- Keep fingers away from cooking surface, especially right after removing pot.
- Do not place unit near objects that may be adversely affected by magnet, such as radios, TVS, and cassette tapes.

Compatible Cookware
Before operating your new induction cooktop, take a moment to verity that you are using a safe, compatible pot or pan. While the
following categories are generally induction cooking-compatible, it is advised that you check the specific pot or pan label to ensure
its compatibility:
- Steel or Cast Iron
- Enameled Iron
- Stainless Steel w/Magnetic Bottom
- Flat-Bottom Pots & Pans with 4.75" - 10.25" Diameter
These categories are generally NOT compatible with induction cooking appliances:
- Heat-Resistant Glass
- Ceramic Containers
- Copper or Aluminum
- Rounded-Bottom Pots & Pans with Diameter Under 4.75”
Using Your Cooktop
Basics:
1. Place compatible pot or pan on center of cooking surface.
2. Plug power cord into wall socket. Short beep will sound.
3. Touch Power Button to turn on. Two red indicators will flash.
Your induction cooktop has 10 selectable power levels (900w-1800w) and 10 selectable temperature levels (140°F-460°F), as follows:
Power (in Watts):
Level 1: 900 – Level 2: 1000 – Level 3: 1100 – Level 4: 1200 – Level 5: 1300 – Level 6:
1400 – Level 7: 1500 – Level 8: 1600 – Level 9: 1700 – Level 10: 1800
Temperature (in Fahrenheit):
Level 1: 140 – Level 2: 180 – Level 3: 210 – Level 4: 250 – Level 5: 280 – Level 6: 320 –
Level 7: 360 – Level 8: 390 – Level 9: 430 – Level 10: 460
Upon power on, temperature level is always set to maximum and power level is always set to 1000w.

To change these levels, follow these steps:
1. Touch Function Button once to get into power control.
2. Touch Value + and Value - buttons until desired power level is reached.
3. Touch Function Button again to get into temperature control.
4. Touch Value + and Value - buttons until desired temperature level is reached.
Overheating Protection Feature:
Your induction cooktop is equipped with an overheat protection system. In the event that a pot or pan gets too hot, an audible
alert will sound, the Digital Display will read “E0”, and the cooktop will automatically shut off. Allow a few minutes for the
cooktop to cool down, after which it should work without issue.
Working the Timer:
The timer can be set in the range from 0 minutes to 180 minutes (3 hours) in increments of 1 minute. Upon power on, the timer is
always set to 0 minutes.
- After setting power and temperature, touch Timer Button. “0” digit will flash.
- Touch Value + Button to increase timer level by 1-minute increments.
Note! Holding down value buttons causes count to speed up to 10-minute increments.
- Touch Timer Button to confirm timer level.
- Timer will shut heating element when it reaches “0”.
- To cancel timer at any time, Touch Timer Button.
Locking the Controls:
- To avoid accidental mode changes, touch Lock Button. All buttons will be disabled and red indicator above lock icon
will illuminate.
- To unlock cooktop controls, touch and hold Lock Button for three seconds.
Troubleshooting
To help troubleshoot issues, the cooktop is designed with an error code system. Should a code be displayed, use the table below
to determine the cause of the problem and apply the correct solution.
Error Message Possible Cause Solution
E0 No pan/incompatible pan detected Place compatible pan on cooktop
E1 Temperature is too high
(or) The fan inside is not working
(or) The sensor has failed
Clean the ventilation slots if blocked.
Let device cool off for a few minutes, then try
to operate the device again.
Contact supplier to repair
E2 Sensor has failed (or)
The temperature of the pan is too high
(when the pan is dry or incompatible,
temperature will be very high and the
unit will cut the power to protect the
IC chip)
Remove the cookware, let the device cool off
for a few minutes, and then try to operate the
device again.
E3 The voltage is incorrect.
Check if voltage is correct, then try to operate
the device again.
Care & Maintenance
For optimal performance and appliance longevity, take the time to gently clean the cooking surface after each use. Using pots and
pans on an unclean cooking surface may result in discoloration or cooked-on stains.
- Disconnect power plug and allow unit to cool down completely.
- Using dishwashing liquid and a damp cloth only, wipe surface gently in circular motion. Do not use benzene, thinner, polishing
powder or scrubbing brushes.
- Never run water over unit. Water inside unit may cause appliance to malfunction.
- A vacuum cleaner can be used to remove dirt from air intake and exhaust vent.
