IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be taken to
minimize the risk of fire, electric shock, personal injury and property damage.
Please adhere to the following precautions and instructions.
This appliance is not to be used by persons including children with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction.
Children being supervised not to play with the appliance.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Place the unit on a flat surface to reduce the risk of it tipping over. Do not tilt the unit,
always keep it upright during installation and use. The unit will turn o automatically
if accidently tipped over.
• We accept no responsibility for any eventual injuries or damages caused by
improper installation, faulty use or failure to follow the instructions.
WARNING:
• Do not expose the appliance to high heat, sparks and open flames.
• Do not pierce or burn the appliance.
• Maintenance must only be carried out by properly qualified, authorised personnel.

DO NOT INSTALL/USE THE APPLIANCE
IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
- outdoors or where water is likely to splash
- near a bath, shower, laundry basin or swimming pool
- in an area where oil is likely to splash
- near a hot gas or electric burner, or sources of fire
- near sources of heat, or exposed to direct sunlight
- in an area where furniture or other objects can obstruct the airflow
- in the presence of flammable substances or vapour such as alcohol,
insecticides, petrol, etc.
- at a dry cleaner’s premises.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND CARE
1. Read all instructions carefully before using the heater.
2. This heater is hot while in operation. To avoid injury, never touch a hot surface.
If provided, always use handles to move this heater. Keep all combustible materials,
such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and curtains, clear of the heater
by at least 3 feet (0.9 m).
3. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children and
whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
4. Always unplug the heater while not in use.
5. Do not operate the heater with a damaged cord or plug. If the heater malfunctions,
or even has been dropped or damaged in any manner, return the heater to a service
facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
6. Do not use the heater outdoors.
7. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar
moist indoor locations. Never place heater where it may fall into a bathtub or
any other water container.
8. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throws, rugs, runners
or the like. Keep cord away from trac areas where it can be tripped over.
- In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
- Heater is not located immediately below a socket-outlet.
- Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath,
a shower or a swimming pool.

10. To prevent overloading a circuit, do not plug the heater into a circuit that already has
other appliances working.
11. CAUTION: It is normal for the plug to feel warm to the touch, however a loose
fit between the AC outlet (receptacle) and plug may cause overheating and
distortion of the plug. Contact a qualified electrician to replace a loose or
worn outlet.
12. To disconnect the heater, first switch the controls to the “O” o position,
then remove the plug from the outlet. Never pull by the cord.
13. Do not insert or allow foreign objects into the outlet grill as this may cause an
electric shock or fire, or it could damage the heater.
14. Proper ventilation air must be provided to prevent combustion. Do not use on
soft surfaces, like a bed, where the outlet grill may become blocked.
15. A heater has hot elements inside. Do not use it in the areas where gasoline, paint,
or flammable liquids are used or stored.
16. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other uses not recommended
by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or personal injury.
17. CAUTION: Using an extension cord may overheat and cause a risk of fire.
18. The output of this heater can be intense enough to burn exposed skin. Use of
this heater is not recommended for persons with reduced sensitivity to heat.
• Do not cover the ventilation openings of the product with items such as newspapers,
tablecloths, curtains etc or insert objects into the slots available on the products.
As this could result in the product temperature rising and could cause a fire.

OPERATION
1. Plug into a standard 220-240V~ 50Hz source.
2. Your heater is equipped with a 4-position power switch:
3. Set the power switch to maximum ( ) for fast warm-up of a room. Once the
room temperature is comfortable, select a lower setting to save electrical
consumption and to prevent the room from becoming too warm.
4. Adjust the thermostat to maximum and select the desired power setting. Once
the room temperature is comfortable, rotate the thermostat counterclockwise till the
heater shuts o. The thermostat will now maintain the temperature by cycling the
heater on or o. During particularly cold weather, the low power setting may be
insucient to satisfy the thermostat. Select a higher setting for these periods.

FAN OPERATION
IF YOUR HEATER FAILS TO OPERATE
This heater is equipped with an automatic Safety Shuto Switch for overheat
protection, which is activated as the internal temperature exceeds normal
operating temperatures.
To use the unit as a cooling air circulator without heat, turn the power switch
knob to and the thermostat to its highest setting.
Be sure it is plugged in and that the electrical outlet is working.
Check for any obstruction. If you find an obstruction, turn the heater OFF.
Unplug the heater and wait at least ten minutes for cool-down. Carefully
remove the obstruction. Re-plug the heater in and restart it as described
in OPERATION section.
If you still notice the same defect, detach the plug from the outlet and have
the appliance checked by service personnel only.
Check that the set temperature is not lower than the current room temperature.
Set the desired temperature higher than the current temperature to restart
the heater.
IF THE HEATER SHUTS DOWN
1) TURN IT OFF
2) UNPLUG IT AND WAIT 10 MINUTES

CLEANING AND STORAGE
We recommend that the heater be cleaned at least once a month and
before storage.
Turn the heater OFF and unplug it. Allow it to cool before handling and storing.
Use a dry cloth to clean the external surfaces of the heater.
DO NOT USE WATER, WAX, POLISH OR ANY CHEMICAL SOLUTION.
Clean your heater by the above-mentioned steps, then pack the heater in
its original container and store it in a cool dry place.
This heater is not disassembled.
Under normal use and circumstances, the motor is factory lubricated and
will require no further lubrication.
