1 S afety

1.1.1 S ome s pecial S ituations

In order to safely and correctly use the product, to

prevent accidents or dangerous happening, please

first read the following safety precautions before using

QUBA M30mobile phones. Not following them may be

dangerous

or illegal. Please save after reading the instructions,

for facilitate access.

Driving Always keep your hands free to operate

the vehicle while driving. Please park the vehicle

before use.

In hospital In the hospital, please turn off the

mobile phone. Otherwise the phone may interfere with

medical equipment to work properly.

In plane Follow the relevant Safety restrictions of

the Civil Aviation. Switch the device off in aircraft.

In dangerous areas For safety considerations ,

turn off the mobile phone when at the gas stations or

near flammable , explosive materials .

Around electronic equipment All wireless devices

may be susceptible to interference, which could affect

performance, such as: hearing aids, and television.

1.1.2 About QUB A M30

M30 is a multimedia mobile phone, dual sim card dual

standby bar phone, color screen, built-in vibration

motor, a charging / data transfer / headset connector.

The menu mentioned in the user manual may be

automatically hidden because the conditions are not

available.

Mobile phones are high-tech products, and they must

be carefully kept and used in order to ensure their

normal life. In order to prevent mobile phone failure,

when using the M30, please note the following:

Avoid extreme temperatures. Always try to keep the

battery between

-10

C and+

C. Extreme

temperatures reduce the capacity and lifetime of the

battery.

Keep the device dry.

Please do not place the M30 on computer

disks,

credit cards, travel cards or other magnetic storage

media together.

Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or

strong detergents to clean the device. If necessary, you

can use the wipes and a small amount of soap to clean

the surface of the device.

Please be sure to use the QUBA charger to charge the

QUBA M30 phone.

Warning If your QUBA M30 mobile phone, battery or

charger

and other accessories have questions ,

please

contact the QUBA authorized service center. Do

not try to

solve the problems , because unprofessional

measures may damage the phone, battery, charger or

other accessories. As the incorrect use or other man-

made reasons cause mobile phones damage,

QUBA will not provide warranty service.

1.1.3 Abo ut the QUB A ba tte r y

Avoid short circuit, otherwise it will damage the

battery, and may cause an explosion or fire.

Do not dispose of batteries in a fire as they may

explode. Used batteries should be returned to the

supplier or on the designated collection point.

Please do not remove the phone battery when the

mobile phone is switched on.

Do not use the mobile phone battery or charger

which is not specified by the QUBA, or any

damage

caused will not in the warranty list.

Please do not contact the electrolyte inside the

battery (which may cause poisoning), if contact with

the skin carelessly, you should wash with plenty of

clean water, and have medical treatment when

needed.

2 Prepare before us e

2.1.1 Insert and remove S IM card

Metal contact surface of SIM card is easy scratched.

Be careful to remove it before the assembly.

Turn off the M30 mobile phone, and remove the other

external power supply and battery.

Slide the SIM card into the SIM card holder.

When you need to remove the SIM card, first turn off the

mobile phone, remove the other external power supply

and battery, then remove the SIM card.

2.1.2 Ins ert and remov e memory card

Turn off the M30 mobile phone, and remove the other

external power supply and battery.

Put the memory card into the memory card seat, and

lock memory card into the slot.

When you need to remove the memory card, first

turn off the M30 mobile phone, remove the other

external power supply and battery, then remove the

memory

card.

2.1.3 R emov e and ins tall battery

Install the battery according to the following steps:

Make the golden contacts of the battery face to the

Contacts in phone. Gently press the other side of the

battery to finish installing.

To replace the back cover, carefully align the top

lugs, and line up the back cover, then gently press

down until the cover locks into place.

Battery removal and installation steps are opposite.

Warning: Before remove the battery, be sure the

M30 is off.

2.1.4 C harging the QUB A battery

Plug the charger into the socket of your M30

phone . Connect QUBA charger to an AC wall outlet

When the battery is fully charged, disconnect the

charger from the device, then from the wall outlet.

Before first use, fully charge the battery.

During charging , the battery , mobile phone and

charger will become hot, this is normal.

When charging, the mobile phone must be placed in

an ambient temperature of -10 ~ +45 for

ventilation.

3 K ey explaination

Note: In this manual, press a key refers to press

and then release the key; Long press a key refers

to press the key and hold for 2 seconds or more then 2

seconds.

4 Mobile phone functions

4.1.1 K eypad lock/unlock

Lock, after the screen blacks out, the mobile phone

will be locked automatically, or in the idle screen

press left into 9 frames palace and then press * to lock

in.

Unlock, press any key, then press the unlock button

(left soft key), and finally press the * key to unlock.

4.1.2 S witch the device on and off

Press and hold the power key to switch the device on

and off.

4.1.3 Telephone functions

First way: In the main screen, enter the phone number.

May be required the area code before Fixed number.

Second way: Select different dial keys to enter

different SIM card, select a recent call number, and

select different dial keys to make a call.

Third Way: To make a call using the saved contacts,

open the contacts. Enter the first letters of the name,

scroll to the name, and press the call key.

: You may press the dialing key to

answer the phone. In the headset mode, press the

answer button on the headset.

* E nd c all: You can press power key to end the call.

* Operation during call: Can operate as following

through the "Options" menu:

1 Reserve the one-way call: Maintain the current call

or restore the maintained call.

2 End the one-way call: End the current call.

3 New call: In this SIM card, dial a new call.

4 Telephone book: Enter telephone book to browse

state.

5 Message: Write and send a message.

6 Recording: Record a phone conversation.

7 Mute: Do not send the local conversation.

8 DTMF: Press the left soft key to open or close the

dual tone multi-frequency.

4.1.4 E mergency calls

If you are in network coverage, you can call

emergency services even without the SIM card.

4.1.5 Telephone book

Your mobile phone supports telephone book functions,

enter initials of each word or the first letter of the name in

the phone book to find matching records. Set in the

telephone book:

Quick find: Choose SIM card 1, SIM card 2, mobile

phone and all.

Find contacts: You can edit and send the number

through SMS, MMS, or Bluetooth.

Add contacts: You can add numbers to the SIM card 1,

SIM card 2 and mobile phones.

All Copy: Copy phone number records between SIM

card 1, SIM card 2 and mobile phones.

Delete contacts: Delete all phonebook records in

SIM card or mobile

Contact group: Select a group, view and edit the

group details, and can increase or decrease members

of the group.

Settings: 1 Storage status: You can check phonebook

records storage capacity and occupied space of phone

and SIM card.

2 Preferred store location: You can choose SIM card

1, SIM card 2, mobile phones and all.

3 Business card settings: There are several options

in phone business cards added to mobile phone.

4 My business card: You can edit and send my

number through SMS, MMS, or Bluetooth.

4.1.6 C all center

SIM card 1 / 2 missed calls: Display SIM card 1 / 2

the list of missed calls.You can delete, save, dial-up,

edit, send text messages, and send multimedia

messages to selected phone records.

SIM card 1 / 2 dialed calls: Display SIM card 1 / 2 the

list of dialed phone numbers. Operation is the same

as missed calls.

SIM card 1 / 2 answered calls: Display SIM card 1 /

the list of answered phone numbers. Operation is

the

same as missed calls.

Delete SIM card 1 / 2 call records: Delete or remove

all

SIM card

waiting, call forwarding, call restriction), black list,

automatic redial, IP dialing, background sound, talk

time suggest / display, automatic time limit, reject and

send text messages.

4.1.7 Multimedia

You can use the QUBA M30 mobile phone multimedia

functions in

menu.

Camera: After enter into the camera, click on the

small camera picture directly can take pictures, also

offers a variety of settings.

* Albums: View photos in albums.

* Self-timer mode: You can choose self-timer mode on

or off.

* Camera Settings: Fill light, shutter sound, exposure

compensation, flicker avoidance, delay shoot, and

continuous shooting settings.

* Photo Settings: Photo size, and photo quality.

* White balance: Auto, sunlight, fluorescent, cloudy,

and incandescent light.

* Restore Defaults.

Albums: Save the taken photo and make the appropriate

operation.

Video recorder: Recording Avi format files.

Video player: Users can play stored video files, and do

the following operation: * Send: Send the video

files to the telephone book, screen saver, switch

machine animation, multimedia, and Bluetooth.

* Rename: Change the file name of the selected video. *

Delete: Delete the selected video file.

* Delete all files: Delete all video files.

* Sort mode: Sort the videos in the current folder by

name, type, time, size or none.

Record: Record amr, wav format files.

FM radio: Plug in your headphones to listen to radio,

and can operate under options:

* Channel list: List of channels.

* Manual input: Directly enter into the channel after

input band.

* Automatically search and set: To search for the

channel.

* Settings: Play in background, the phone speaker,

and channel effects.

Musi c Play er: The musi c play er has a uniq ue music

player interface, support for personalized play back

settings:

1 Player Settings: Play List, automatically gerenate

list , repeat , random , background play , shaking

change music, and sound settings..

2 Audio Settings: Set sound effects when playing

music.

Bluetooth Settings: Bluetooth stereo output, and

bluetooth stereo headset.

4.1.8 Mess age S ervices

This menu mainly involves SMS, MMS, voice mailbox

and cell broadcast function.

SMS: Using the text message function.

MMS: Using the multimedia message function.

Voice mailbox: Set the voice mailbox by accessing

the service number to listen to the message.

Cell Broadcast: Messages received from the ISP on

various topics.

4.1.9 Web S ervices

STK You can use the value-added services provided

by ISP. This feature requires ISP to support. For more

information,please consult withISP.

Internet Services: Your mobile phone supports

wireless application protocol-based (WAP) services.

Using the WAP browser to access and swimming

wireless network, access to a wealth of information.

Note:

1. STK under Network Services menu will display

different content for different types of SIM cards.

2.If there are both two SIM cards, SIM card will show

two STK menus. If there is only one SIM card, SIM

card only shows the corresponding STK menu.

4.1.10 Toolbox

You can use the following additional features to

facilitate your life and work.

Entertainments:Click the menu Entertainments to

use the entertainment functions provided by the

mobile phone.

E-Book: Read the txt format files you have saved.

Bluetooth: Bluetooth is a short-range wireless

messaging technology that can transfer and

exchange wireless information within 10 meters away

from the mobile phone.

Calendar: View dates, add notes, etc.

Agency issues: Add and view appointments, telephone

and Day itinerary.

Alarm Clock: Using the alarm. Five alarms can be

set up.

World time: Set up and view the World Clock.

Calculator: Using the calculator function.

Exchange rate: Exchange rate conversion between

*Dual cards open : Choose t o open the SIM card 1 and SIM

card 2 functions.

*Only SIM card 1 open: Only open the SIM card 1

function, and turn the SIM card 2 functions off.

*Only SIM card 2 open: Only open the SIM card 2

functions, and turn the SIM card 1 function off.

If you choose to open only SIM card 1/ only SIM

card 2, that is, at boot time, SIM card 1/SIM card 2 will

not display even if it is inserted into SIM card location,

to achieve functions such as a card-enabled mobile

phone.

*Flight mode: None card open.

Note: If you only use one SIM card, first insert the SIM

-Screen Saver: Select a screen saver standby screen

image, and set the wait time.

-Boot Flash: Select boot animation picture.

-Shutdown Flash: Select the shutdown animation

picture.

-Display Date Time: Open or close the displayed

current time in the standby screen.

Set the corresponding SIM card 1 / 2.

-Re-search: Re-search for available networks.

-Select Network : Search all network currently

available, manual registration.

-Select mode: Automatic and manual modes available.

Automatic mode will automatically search for the

respective network of SIM card. Manual mode will

search for all currently available networks, manual

registration

*Preferred networks: Store some favorite networks.

*S IM l oc k:

In this menu you can set the phone security options,

to protect your SIM card against unauthorised use.

PIN code

- P I N c o d e p r o t e c t s y o u r S I M c a r d a g a i n s t

unauthorised use.

-If the current PIN code has been closed, select open

to open the PIN code protection, the mobile phone will

ask you to enter PIN code at next boot. If the current

PIN code is already open, choose close to close the

PIN code protection. Choose to change the PIN code

can set a new PIN code, please follow the prompts to

enter the old PIN code, the new PIN code and repeat

The new PIN code.

Note

: After three consecutive incorrect PIN code

entries, the code is blocked, and you need to use the

PUK code to unblock it before you can use the SIM

card again. The PIN code and POK code protect your

SIM card against unauthorized use and are provided

with the SIM card. The default PIN code is 2345.

Please change it as soon as possible to your own

password.

*M30 Mobile phone lock:

Mobile phone lock can protect your phone against

unauthorized use.

The phone lock can open the phone password

protection, and the mobile phone will ask you to enter

phone password at the next boot. Press it again to turn

off the phone password protection.

Note: The default phone lock password is 1122, you

should change it as soon as possible to your own

password.

*K eyboard lock

: Set keyboard lock waiting time. After

finish setting, the mobile phone is not used

within the

standby specified time, the keyboard will be

automatically locked.

*Change Pas s word

: Change your password .
