1. Outline
CCD line scan camera with 2048 pixels of image sensor and of 40MHz data rate.
Digital video signal (10 bit) and analog video signal (0 to 2.5V at 75Ω-terminated) are delivered at a time
as in the case of UFD series camera.
2. Features
Restriction on the encoder signal specs is significantly relaxed as the asynchronous shutter function is
incorporated. Hence, clear images can be obtained even when the line speed of the object is not stable.
Equipped with anti-blooming function.
Sensitivity can be changed from 50 to 400 V/Lux·sec in 4 steps. (Factory default :100 V/Lux.sec)
The equipment operates with a single DC12V power source.
Best suited usage for different purposes is feasible as the GAIN setting can be changed in the x1 to x 8
sensitivity range.(1,2,4,8-fold).
A pixel size is small enough (10μm×10μm) to capture high-definition images.
3. Applications

5. Camera I / O
5-1 Power source
The camera is powered through 15-pin connector.
Though ripple-free and stable power source is preferable, the switching supply is also employable. In general,
ripple voltage of a stabilized power source is approx.35mV, and approx.120mV for a switching supply. As
voltage ripple is added to video signals, S/N ratio degrades when ripple voltage is too large.
When two or more line scanners are connected to a single power source, be sure to keep cables from varying
extremely in length from others. When cable length varies greatly depending installation location of line
scanner and power source, dispersively set up multiple small-capacity power sources.
