1. Initial Use

If a user does not blow a sufficient breath

sample, the LCD will display "FLo".

to restart the countdown cycle and retest.Press Start button

If the battery indicator display is empty,

install two new alkaline AA batteries.

How To Use

Press down the battery cover of the unit to open it and install two AA size 1.5V

alkaline batteries paying attention to the battery polarity.

Close the battery cover and insert the mouthpiece to the slot.

2. How to test Breath Alcohol Concentration

a) Press the start button and the unit displays the total number of tests

performed for a second and then displays

b) Press the start button again and it automatically begins a countdown.

c) When the countdown reaches "0" (zero), then blow through the mouthpiece

for more than 4~5 seconds till you hear a double beep signal.

d) Once the sensor has analyzed the breath sample, it displays the estimated

Blood Alcohol Concentration.

(When the unit operates normally)

Error Messages

If there is no breath sample blown within

15 seconds, the LCD will display "OUT".

3. How to use Flash

d) Emergency signal function

- When the flash is On, press the start button for 3 seconds and then the

emergency signal operates.

- Press the mode button, if you want to stop the emergency signal.

- If you press the start button, the timer will stop and if you press the start button

again, the timer will go on.

a) Press the start button and the unit displays the total number of tests performed

for a second and then displays

b) Press the mode button and the unit displays that means the flash

will be off after 59.9 minutes automatically.

If you press the start button, the timer will stop and if you press the start button

again, the timer will go on.

c) Whenever you press the mode button, the flash repeats On and Off.

4. How to use Sensor Test Mode

a) Press the start button and the unit displays the total number of tests performed

for a second and then displays

b) Press and hold the mode button for more than 5 seconds till the unit displays

c) Press the start button and the unit displays and the countdown will

commence.

d) When the countdown is finished, the unit displays [Ready to Test].

The test should be performed within 10 seconds.

Take a deep breath and exhale steadily into the mouthpiece for about 4 seconds.

e) In case the unit operates normally, following signs will be displayed sequentially

and the countdown will commence after completion of analysis.

When the countdown is finished, the next test should be also performed within

10 seconds in the same way.

The test will be performed 3 times automatically. But if the unit displays FLo or OUT,

press the start button for Re-Test after 5 seconds.

f) The test results will be displayed as follows and you can Re-test 3 ~ 5 times,

if necessary.

g) If you press the start button, the unit displays

Sensor is good.

Recommended to replace the sensor.

Sensor initialization or first self test is finished after purchase.

Required to Re-test, since the data are not stable.

5. How to change Measuring Unit

a) Press the start button and the unit displays the total number of tests performed

for a second and then displays

b) Press and hold the mode button for more than 5 seconds till the unit

displays

Then, press mode button shortly till it displays

By pressing start button, you can adjust the unit.

The manufacturer warrants the product to be free from defects in

workmanship or material (excluding calibration) under normal use either

for 1(one) year from date of purchase or 300 breath tests whichever

comes earlier. The manufacturer's obligation under this warranty is

limited to replacing, adjusting or repairing the unit at manufacturer's

option, if returned along with proof of purchase.

For any defects due to natural disaster or customer's negligence,

misuse, reconstruction and repair by unauthorized person, reasonable

cost shall be charged for repair or part replacement.

Allow at least 20 minutes between the last consumption of alcohol and testing.

For more accurate testing, it is recommended to recalibrate the sensor every

6 months or after 200 tests.

For protection of the sensor, avoid direct ray of light, extreme temperature, humid

place, keep the device in a well ventilated place and keep out of reach of children.

When not used for a long time, keep the device after taking out the batteries.

In case of reuse after long-term storage, there might be high tolerance of test result

for about first 3 tests.

Do NOT leave the device together with newspaper or alcohol containing materials.

Do NOT blow smoke, saliva or other contaminants into the mouthpiece, as the sensor

may be damaged.

Do NOT block the air hole apposite to the mouthpiece during the test,

as it may damage the sensor.

We recommend you to replace the disposable mouthpiece for sanitary purpose.

Do NOT use the device as a tool to drink and drive. The manufacturer and seller

will not take any legal responsibility for the measured test value.
