SAFETY INFORMATION
Before the installation and use of the appli-
ance, carefully read the supplied instruc-
tions. The manufacturer is not responsible
if an incorrect installation and use causes
injuries and damages. Always keep the in-
structions with the appliance for future ref-
erence.
CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE

Risk of suffocation, injury or perma-
nent disability.
Do not let persons, children included,
with reduced physical sensory, reduced
mental functions or lack of experience
and knowledge use the appliance. They
must have supervision or instruction for
the operation of the appliance by a per-
son who is responsible for their safety.
Do not let children play with the appli-
ance.
Keep all packaging away from children.
Keep children and pets away from the
appliance when it operates or when it
cools down. Accessible parts are hot.
If the appliance has a child safety device,
we recommend that you activate it.
INSTALLATION
WARNING!
Only a qualified person must install
this appliance.
Remove all the packaging.
Do not install or use a damaged appli-
ance.
Obey the installation instruction supplied
with the appliance.
Always be careful when you move the
appliance because it is heavy. Always
wear safety gloves.
Do not pull the appliance by the handle.
Keep the minimum distance from the
other appliances and units.
Make sure that the appliance is installed
below and adjacent safe structures.
The sides of the appliance must stay ad-
jacent to appliances or to units with the
same height.
Electrical connection
WARNING!
Risk of fire and electrical shock.
All electrical connections should be
made by a qualified electrician.
The appliance must be earthed.
Make sure that the electrical information
on the rating plate agrees with the power
supply. If not, contact an electrician.
Always use a correctly installed shock-
proof socket.
Do not use multi-plug adapters and ex-
tension cables.
Make sure not to cause damage to the
mains plug and to the mains cable. Con-
tact the Service or an electrician to
change a damaged mains cable.
Do not let mains cables to come in touch
with the appliance door, specially when
the door is hot.
The shock protection of live and insula-
ted parts must be fastened in such a
way that it cannot be removed without
tools.
Connect the mains plug to the mains
socket only at the end of the installation.
Make sure that there is access to the
mains plug after the installation.
If the mains socket is loose, do not con-
nect the mains plug.
Do not pull the mains cable to discon-
nect the appliance. Always pull the
mains plug.
Use only correct isolation devices: line
protecting cut-outs, fuses (screw type
fuses removed from the holder), earth
leakage trips and contactors.
The electrical installation must have an
isolation device which lets you discon-
nect the appliance from the mains at all
poles. The isolation device must have a
contact opening width of minimum 3
mm.

USE
WARNING!
Risk of injury, burns or electric
shock or explosion.
Use this appliance in a household envi-
ronment.
Do not change the specification of this
appliance.
Make sure that the ventilation openings
are not blocked.
Do not let the appliance stay unattended
during operation.
Deactivate the appliance after each use.
Internally the appliance becomes hot
when in operation. Do not touch the
heating elements that are in the appli-
ance. Always use oven gloves to remove
or put in accessories or ovenware.
Be careful, when you open the appliance
door while the appliance is in operation.
Hot air can release.
Do not operate the appliance with wet
hands or when it has contact with water.
Do not apply pressure on the open door.
Do not use the appliance as a work sur-
face or as a storage surface.
Always keep the appliance door closed
when the appliance is in operation.
Open the appliance door carefully. The
use of ingredients with alcohol can cause
a mixture of alcohol and air.
Do not let sparks or open flames to
come in contact with the appliance when
you open the door.
Do not put flammable products or items
that are wet with flammable products in,
near or on the appliance.
WARNING!
Risk of damage to the appliance.
To prevent damage or discoloration to
the enamel:
– Do not put ovenware or other objects
in the appliance directly on the bottom.
– Do not put aluminium foil directly on
the bottom of the appliance.
– do not put water directly into the hot
appliance.
– do not keep moist dishes and food in
the appliance after you finish the cook-
ing.
– be careful when you remove or install
the accessories.
Discoloration of the enamel has no effect
on the performance of the appliance. It is
not a defect in the sense of the warranty
law.
Use a deep pan for moist cakes. Fruit jui-
ces cause stains that can be permanent.
CARE AND CLEANING
WARNING!
Risk of injury, fire or damage to the
appliance.
Before maintenance, deactivate the ap-
pliance and disconnect the mains plug
from the mains socket.
Make sure the appliance is cold. There is
the risk that the glass panels can break.
Replace immediately the door glass pan-
els when they are damaged. Contact the
Service.
Be careful when you remove the door
from the appliance. The door is heavy!
Clean regularly the appliance to prevent
the deterioration of the surface material.
Remaining fat or food in the appliance
can cause fire.
Clean the appliance with a moist soft
cloth. Only use neutral detergents. Do
not use abrasive products, abrasive
cleaning pads, solvents or metal objects.
If you use an oven spray, obey the safety
instructions on the packaging.
Do not clean the catalytic enamel (if ap-
plicable) with any kind of detergent.
Pyrolytic cleaning
WARNING!
Risk of burns.
Keep children away from the appliance
while the Pyrolytic cleaning is in opera-
tion. The appliance becomes very hot.
Provide good ventilation during and after
each Pyrolytic cleaning.
Remove any pets (especially birds) from
the vicinity of the appliance location dur-
ing and after the Pyrolytic cleaning and
first use maximum temperature operation
to a well ventilated area.

Read carefully all the instructions for Py-
rolytic cleaning.
INTERNAL LIGHT
The type of light bulb or halogen lamp
used for this appliance, is only for house-
hold appliances. Do not use it for house
lighting.
WARNING!
Risk of electrical shock.
Before replacing the lamp, disconnect
the appliance from the power supply.
Only use lamps with the same specifica-
tions.
DISPOSAL
WARNING!
Risk of injury or suffocation.
Disconnect the appliance from the mains
supply.
Cut off the mains cable and discard it.
Remove the door catch to prevent chil-
dren and pets to get closed in the appli-
ance.

BEFORE FIRST USE

INITIAL CLEANING
Remove all parts from the appliance.
Clean the appliance before first use.
Refer to chapter "Care and Clean-
ing".
The handle can be replaced to
match the décor of your kitchen.
The change must be done by an
authorized person. Use only genu-
ine replacement parts.
FIRST CONNECTION
When you connect the appliance to the
mains or after the power cut you have to
set the language, display contrast, display
brightness and time of the day. Use shuttle
to set the value. Press OK to confirm.
CALIBRATION
For optimal results with Auto Cooking you
must calibrate the appliance. The calibra-
tion time is 4 hours.
If you use manual cooking only,
you can ignore this procedure.
Conditions:
The temperature in the kitchen must be
below 35°C.
Install the appliance in its permanent lo-
cation.
Connect the appliance to the mains sup-
ply and do not disconnect it again.
If you change the appliance location or
electrical connection you must do the
steps again.
Calibration:
1. Activate the appliance.
2.
Select Basic Settings and press OK.
3. Select Calibration and press OK.
If you calibrate for the first time, you
can set the category from the con-
trol panel or Auto Cooking from the
main menu to start the procedure.
CAUTION!
Make sure the appliance cools
down before you use it.

Heating Functions Application
Fan Cooking For baking on up to three levels simulta-
neously. Set the oven temperatures 20 –
40° lower than for Conventional Cook-
ing .
Conventional Cooking For baking and roasting on one level.
Pizza Setting For baking on one level for dishes that
require intensive browning and a crispy
base. Set the oven temperatures 20 –
40° lower than for Conventional Cook-
ing .
Turbo Grill For roasting larger pieces of meat or
poultry on one level. Also suitable for
gratins and browning.
Turbo Grill + Spit Roast Especially for poultry, temperature set-
ting 190-210°C.
Economy Grill For grilling flat foods which are placed in
the middle of the rack and for toasting.
Economy Grill + Spit Roast For grilling a chicken or small rolled
roasts.
Dual Grill For grilling flat foods in large quantities
and for toasting.
Dual Grill + Spit Roast For grilling two chickens or one rolled
roast.

ing. Can be switched on or off.

required and alerts the user to this fact.
Can be switched on or off.

Defrost To defrost frozen food.
Drying For drying of sliced fruits like apples,
plums, peaches and vegetables as to-
matoes, zucchini or mushrooms.
Keep Warm To keep the food warm.

Plate Warming To warm the empty plates before serv-
ing.

Factory Settings Resets all basic settings to the original
factory settings.
To operate the appliance you can use:

dish when you do not have a knowledge
or experience in cooking.
NAVIGATING THE MENUS
Operation of the menus:
1.
Activate the appliance.
2.
Use the shuttle clockwise or counter
clockwise to select the menu option.
3.
Press OK to move to sub menu or ac-
cept setting.
ACTIVATING A HEATING
FUNCTION
1.
Activate the appliance.
2. Select Heating Functions menu. Press
OK to confirm.
3.
Select the heating function. Press OK
to confirm.
4.
Set the temperature. Press OK to con-
firm.
After you set the function: If you want to
change a heating function turn the shuttle
to the left and press OK. If you want to
change the temperature turn the shuttle to
the right and press OK.
HEAT-UP INDICATOR
When you activate an oven function, the
bar on the display comes on. The bar
shows that the temperature increases.
Residual heat indicator
When you deactivate the appliance, the
display shows the residual heat. You can
use the heat to keep the food warm.

CLOCK FUNCTIONS
Symbol Function Description
Minute Minder
To set a countdown (max 2 hours 30 minutes). This
function has no effect on the operation of the appli-
ance. You can also activate it in off state. Use shuttle
to set the minutes and OK to start.
Duration
To set how long the appliance has to be in operation
(max. 23 h 59 min).
End Time
To set the switch-off time for an oven function (max.
23 h 59 min).
You can use Duration and End
Time at the same time, if you want
to automatically activate and deac-
tivate the appliance on a given time
later.
If you set the time for a clock function, the
time starts to count down after 5 seconds.
If you use the clock functions Dura-
tion and End Time , the appliance
deactivates the heating elements
after 90 % of the set time. The ap-
pliance uses the residual heat to
continue the cooking process until
the time ends (3-20 minutes).
Setting the clock functions
1.
Set an oven function and temperature
(necessary for Duration and End ).
2.
Press again and again until the dis-
play shows the necessary clock func-
tion and the related symbol.
3.
Use shuttle to set the necessary time.
PressOK to confirm.
After 90 % of the set time, an acoustic
signal sounds. The appliance deacti-
vates. The display shows a message.
4.
Press a sensor field or open the door
to stop the signal.
With Duration and End Time the
appliance deactivates automatical-
ly.
When you use Meat Probe, Dura-
tion and End Time do not work.
EXTRA TIME
The Extra Time makes the oven function
continue after the set time ends.
Applicable for all oven functions with Du-
ration or Weight Automatic .
Not applicable for oven functions with
Meat Probe.
Activating the function:
1.
When the cooking time ends, an
acoustic signal sounds. Press any sen-
sor field.
2.
The display shows the message for
Extra Time for five minutes.
3.
Press to activate.
4.
Set Extra Time period. Press OK to
confirm.

AUTO COOKING
This appliance has an automatic pro-
grammes for cooking. You choose catego-
ries from the control panel. Refer to sepa-
rate booklet (included) for match between
cooking categories and exemplary dishes -
use it as a cooking aid. Automatic pro-
grammes use preset temperature, oven
function and time.
To use automatic programmes you
must calibrate the appliance.
Use the accessories we recom-
mend. Refer to the tables in the
tips chapter.

MEAT PROBE
The meat probe measures the core tem-
perature of the food. When the meat rea-
ches set temperature the oven deactivates
automatically.
Use only original parts. It ensures
the best cooking results.
WARNING!
The meat probe is hot. There is a
risk of burns. Be careful when you
remove the tip and plug.
To use it you must set:
The temperature in the appliance.
The core temperature of the food.
Using the meat probe:
1.
Put the tip of the meat probe into the
centre of the meat.
2.
Activate the appliance.
3.
Put the plug of the meat probe into the
socket (refer to appliance overview).
4.
Use shuttle in less than 5 seconds to
set the core temperature. The probe
temperature range starts at 30°C.
5.
Set the oven function and, if necessa-
ry, the oven temperature.
The appliance calculates an approxi-
mate end time. An end time is different
for the different quantities of the food,
the set oven temperatures (minimum
120 °C) and the operating modes. The
appliance calculates the end time in
approximately 30 minutes The core
temperature is displayed from 30 °C.
The meat probe must stay in the
meat and in the socket during the
cooking process.
6.
When the meat is at the set core tem-
perature, an acoustic signal sounds.
The appliance deactivates automatical-
ly. Press a button to stop the signal.
7.
Remove the meat probe plug from the
socket and remove the meat from the
oven.
To change the core temperature,
press
again and again until the
meat probe temperature appears.
Use the shuttle to change the tem-
perature and OK to confirm.
ENGLISH 15
TURNSPIT
1.
Install the first fork on the spit, then put
the meat on the turnspit and install the
second fork. Make sure that the meat
is in the middle of the spit.
2.
Tighten the forks.
3.
Put the roasting pan on the lowest
shelf level.

Insert the turnspit support at the front
on shelf level 5 on the right side.
5.
Press and hold the clip to keep the
handle secure on the turn spit.
6.
Put the tip of the spit into the turnspit
hole until it locks into place. Put the
groove in front of the turnspit handle
on the notch on the turnspit support.

Remove the turnspit handle.

Set an oven function with turnspit.
Make sure that the turnspit rotates.
9.
After the meat is roasted, deactivate
the appliance.
10.
Install the turnspit handle.

Carefully remove the turnspit and the
roasting pan from the oven.
WARNING!
Be careful when you use the turn-
spit. The forks and the spit are
sharp. There is a risk of injury.
WARNING!
Use oven gloves when you remove
the turnspit. The turnspit is hot.
There is a risk of burns.

INSERTING THE OVEN ACCESSORIES
The deep roasting pan and the wire shelf
have side edges. These edges and the
shape of the guide-bars are a special de-
vice to prevent the cookware from slipping.
Put in the slide-in accessories so that the
double side edges are at the back of the
oven and point down to the bottom. Push
the slide-in accessories between the guide-
bars of one of the oven levels.
Installing the wire shelf and the deep
pan together
Put the wire shelf on the deep roasting
pan. Push the deep roasting pan between
the guide-bars of one of the oven levels.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS
KEY LOCK
The Key Lock prevents an accidental
change of the oven settings.
Activating the Key Lock
1.
Activate the appliance.
2.
Set the oven function.
3.
Press again and again until the dis-
play shows Key Lock
4.
PressOK to confirm.
The Key Lock is active.
Deactivating the Key Lock
1.
Press .
2.
PressOK to confirm.
The Key Lock is not active.
If you deactivate the appliance, the
Key Lock deactivates.
CHILD LOCK
The Child Lock prevents an accidental op-
eration of the appliance .
Activating the Child Lock
1.
Activate the appliance. Do not set any
oven function or setting.
2.
Touch and at the same time
at the same time until the display
shows a message.
Deactivating the Child Lock
1.
Do the above steps again.
SMELL FILTER
You can activate the Smell Filter in the Ba-
sic Settings menu. It operates during bak-
ing and roasting.
Smell Filter uses additional energy
to operate.
Smell Filter: It cleans automatical-
ly every 100 hours. Even when you
deactivate it in the menu.
It is always active during pyrolytic
cleaning.
AUTOMATIC SWITCH-OFF
If the oven is not switched off after
a certain time, or if the heat setting
is not modified, the oven switches
off automatically.
The oven switches off at an
oven temperature of:
30 - 120°C after 12.5 hours
120 - 200°C after 8.5 hours
200 - 250°C after 5.5 hours
250 – max °C after 3 hours
Switching on again after
safety switch-off
Press OK.
COOLING FAN
When the appliance operates, the cooling
fan switches on automatically to keep the
surfaces of the appliance cool. If you
switch off the appliance, the cooling fan
continues to operate until the appliance
cools down.
