instructions

The operating instructions are part of this product.

They contain important information about safety,

usage, and disposal. Before using the product, please

familiarize yourself with all operating and safety

Proper use

These headphones are a consumer electronics device.

They are intended for private use for listening to audio

material. This device is not intended for any other use

or for uses beyond those mentioned. Claims of any

kind for damage resulting from improper use will not

be accepted. The risk shall be borne solely by the user.

Warning types

The following warning types are used in these opera-

ting instructions:

► WARNING indicates a hazardous situation that, if

not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.

► CAUTION indicates a hazardous situation that,

if not avoided, could result in minor or moderate

injury.

ty damage).

Safety

This section contains important safety instructions for

using the device. This device complies with statutory

safety regulations. Improper use may result in personal

injury and property damage.

Risk of hearing damage!

► Loud music can lead to hearing damage.

Avoid extreme sound levels, especially

over long periods of time, when you are

using these headphones.

Risk of accidents!

► Acoustical warning and indication signals and en-

vironmental noises can sound diﬀerent when you

are wearing these headphones. Make yourself

aware of how these signals deviate in their sound so

that you can recognize the signals in the appropria-

te situations.

► Do not use the headphones while driving a vehicle,

riding a bicycle, operating machinery or in any

other situation in which impaired perception of am-

bient noise could put you or other people in danger.

Please also observe the statutory provisions and

regulations of the country in which you are using

the headphones.

Basic safety instructions

■ Before use, check the headphones for visible

external damage. Do not operate headphones

that are damaged or have been dropped.

■ Protect the cable against damage, for example

caused by sharp edges, hot areas, clamping or

crushing.

■ Damaged cables or connections should be replaced

by authorized qualiﬁed personnel or by the customer

service department.

■ Children and individuals who, due to their physi-

cal, intellectual or motor abilities, are incapable

of operating the headphones safely, must only

use them under the supervision or direction of

a responsible person. Permit children to use the

headphones only under supervision.

■ Risk of suﬀocation!

The packaging material is not a toy. Keep plastic

sheeting, bags and all other packaging material

away from children.

■ Repairs to the headphones may only be carried

out by authorized specialist personnel or by the

customer service department. Incompetent re-

pairs may result in risks for the user. In addition,

warranty claims become void.

■ Repairs to the headphones during the warranty

period may only be carried out by a customer

service department authorized by the manufac-

turer. Otherwise no additional warranty claims

can be considered for subsequent damages.

■ Do not carry out any unauthorized reconstruction

or customization to the headphones.

■ Protect the headphones from moisture and pene-

tration by liquids.

■ Keep the headphones away from open ﬂames

(e.g. candles) at all times.

Disposal of the packaging

The packaging materials have been

selected for their environmental friendliness

and ease of disposal, and are therefore

recyclable.

Dispose of packaging materials that are no longer nee-

ded in accordance with applicable local regulations.

Operation

Using the headphones

♦ When putting on the headphones , pay attention

to the side indicators "R" (right) and "L" (left) on the

earpieces.

♦ Carefully slide one of the headphones deep into

the ear canal. In order to straighten the ear channel

somewhat and therefore make the earphone easier

to insert, pull auricle backwards and upwards a

little.

♦ Proceed in the same way to insert the other earpho-

ne .

Replacing the ear cushions

Upon delivery, the headphones  are ﬁtted with

medium size ear cushions .

Depending on the size of your auricle you can use

ear cushions ( or ) of a diﬀerent size from the

ones supplied.

♦ Use your ﬁngers to carefully pull on the ear cushions

to detach them from the headphones  (see

Fig. 1).

♦ Select suitable ear cushions ( or ) from the

ones that are supplied. Push them directly onto the

headphones  until they slip into the recesses on

the headphones  (see Fig. 2).

Connecting the headphones

The headphones  are equipped with a 3.5 mm

jack plug. Many electronic entertainment devices are

equipped with an appropriate headphone socket. If

your audio device has been equipped with a diﬀerent

headphone connector, you may need to use a suitable

adapter (not supplied).

Multifunction button functions

The multifunction button  can be used to carry out

basic functions for playing music and making telepho-

ne calls.

Microphone

The microphone can be used during telephone

calls. The closer it is to your mouth the better the

communication.

Troubleshooting

Malfunction causes and solutions

The following table will help identify and solve minor

malfunctions:

Cleaning

► Do not allow any liquids to penetrate the interior of

the headphones . This could cause irreparable

damage to them.

♦ Clean the headphones  with a slightly damp

cloth.

♦ Remove the ear cushions (,  or ) for

cleaning. Clean the ear cushions under running

water. Dry the ear cushions properly. Do not fold

the ear cushions back over the headphones  until

they are properly dry.

Storage when not in use

♦ Store the headphones  in a dry and dust-free

location.

Disposal

Electrical devices may not be thrown away as part

of normal household trash. If you can no longer use

your electrical device, dispose of it in accordance with

the legal provisions applicable in your state. This will

ensure that old electrical devices are recycled and

environmental pollution is kept to a minimum.

What does this warranty cover?

The warranty covers:

▯ Damage, breakage or inoperability due to defect.

▯ Damage not caused by normal wear and tear

or failure to follow the safety and maintenance

instructions provided in the user manual.

What is not covered by the warranty?

The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

▯ Normal wear and tear of the product, including

fragile parts (such as switches, glass, etc.);

▯ Improper use or transport;

▯ Disregarding safety and maintenance instructions;

▯ Accidents or acts of nature (e.g. lightning, ﬁre,

water, etc.);

▯ Tampering with the product (such as removing

cover, unscrewing screws etc.)

Consequential and incidental damages are also not

covered under this warranty. However, some states

do not allow the exclusion or limitation of inciden-

tal or consequential damages, so this limitation or

exclusion may not apply to you.

What is the period of coverage and

warranty resolution?

The warranty is for 3 years from the date of purchase.

At our discretion, product will either be refunded or

replaced.

What will we not do?

We will not:
