INSTALLATION MANUAL
BT-XLR3TO5 KIT BT-XLR5TO3 KIT
This is a short installation manual for BT-XLR3TO5 KIT and BT-XLR5TO3 KIT modification kits.
• BT-XLR3TO5 KIT: used to transform selected projectors with 3pin XLR to 5pin XLR.
• BT-XLR5TO3 KIT: used to transform selected projectors with 5pin XLR to 3pin XLR.
Procedure is identical for both modification kits.
1. On both XLR-connectors: unscrew the 2 screws that keep them in place.
2. Remove one XLR-connector gently from the enclosure (don’t worry if you feel some resistance)
3. Gently unplug the small connector on the back of XLR and put the original XLR aside.
4. Put the replacement XLR in place and connect it to the small cable. (Note: don’t mix-up the male and female XLR !)
5. Put the new XLR in place: make sure that the sealing rubber is in the correct position!
6. Put the 2 screws in place. Make sure you tighten the 2 screws of the XLR-connector evenly otherwise the connector will tilt and you will risk that
the rubber does not seal perfectly!!!
7. Repeat steps 2 to 6 for the second connector.
8. Done!
