Maxview MXL003 is a fully automatic roof mounted satellite system designed to receive satellite TV and radio with the convenience of a wireless control panel. It features a range of capabilities that make it an excellent choice for those who want to enjoy their favorite TV shows and radio stations while on the go.

With its automatic satellite acquisition and alignment system, the MXL003 makes it easy to set up and use. Simply mount the system on your vehicle's roof, connect the cables, and turn it on. The system will automatically search for and lock onto the available satellites.

The MXL003 also comes with a wireless control panel that allows you to control the system from anywhere inside your vehicle. You can use the control panel to select channels, adjust the volume, and change the settings.

Step 2. Select a Dish Size

All our roof mounted systems are available in 65cm and 85cm dish sizes. The dish size determines

the geographic area from which you can receive your desired satellite, this area is known as the

satellites ‘footprint’. For UK channels, we require the Astra 2 satellite.

Generally, the larger the dish, the greater the geographic area or ‘footprint’ from which you should

receive satellite TV. Typically, to receive Astra 2 a 65cm dish offers coverage into the middle of

France, whilst an 85cm dish will offer coverage approaching the Spanish border or further with

automatic skew, see step 3. Once you are out of this footprint you will still be able to lock onto Astra

2 but receive a more basic range of channels.

*Note: If you have roof space limitations, we are also able to offer a 50cm Dish (available on Target

and Connect models only). Please ensure you have checked and are happy with the footprint

coverage.

Step 3. Do I add Automatic Skew?

All our systems in this guide have a Automatic Skew option.

We recommend Automatic Skew for those who plan to

travel across Southern Europe to places such as the South

of France where the satellite footprint fringe is reached.

It is necessary to rotate the LNB to compensate the

polarisation deviation or skew angle caused

by the curvature of the earth.

Our Automatics Skew systems use GPS to

calculate the optimum skew angle for your

given location whilst a motor within the

LNB enclosure adjusts the LNB accordingly.

If you only travel within the UK Automatic

Skew is not necessary.

Sky Q™

The release of Sky Q™ back in 2016 has been causing our customers viewing issues as a result of the

compatibility of the Sky Q™ receiver and the Satellite System. Sky Q™ is different from any previous

editions of SKY TV™ (Sky +, Sky HD etc.) in the way the system receives the TV signal. Sky Q™

requires unique parts for connection from the cable to satellite dish.

You will need a Sky Q™ Satellite System along with your Sky Q™ receiver if you want Sky Q™ TV*.

*Sky Q™ Satellite System variants can only be used in conjunction with Sky Q™ receivers.

Wanting to use Sky Q™ and another type of receiver (E.g Free To Air)?

If you wish to use any combination of a Sky Q™ receiver or FTA receiver you will require a

Connect or Target System ﬁtted with the Sky Q™ and Free To Air LNB**.

**Please note: Sky Q™ and FTA options are not available on Seeker models or Auto Skew variants.

Step 4. Receiver Compatibility

Before you decide LNB options (Step 5) you will need to determine your satellite receiver type.

This in turn will dictate the type of LNB you will need.

We know that some of our customers choose to take their satellite receiver away with them on their

adventures.

Any of these are compatible with our systems (example pictures only, models may vary).

Step 5. Select LNB Option

LNB options depend on the amount of TV’s you would like to view and the type of satellite receiver

you will be using.
