Chapter 3 Installation adjustments and
maintenance
3-1.Selection of installation equipment
Cut out the work surface according to the sizes shown in the drawing. For the purpose of
installation and use, a minimum of 5 cm space shall be preserved around the hole.
Be sure the thickness of the work surface is at least 30mm. Please select heat-resistant
work surface material to avoid larger deformation caused by the heat radiation from the
hotplate. As shown below:

Under any circumstances, make sure the Induction cooker hob is well ventilated
and the air inlet and outlet are not blocked. Ensure the Induction cooker hob is
in good work state. As shown below
Note: The safety distance between the hotplate and the cupboard above the hotplate
should be at least 760mm.

installation.

Key operation

Power on/off
Touch the ON/OFF control.
• After power on, the buzzer beeps once, all displays show “ – “ or “ – – “, indicating that the induction
hob has entered the state of standby mode.
• After power off, ‘H’ will show which cooking zone is hot to touch. It will disappear when the surface has
cooled down to a safe temperature.
Setting power level
Touching the heating zone selection control, and a indicator next to the key will flash.
Select a heat setting by touching the “-“ or “+” control.
• If you don’t choose a heat setting within 1 minute, the Induction hob will automatically switch off.
• You can modify the heat setting at any time during cooking.
Using the Boost
1. Touch the heating zone selection button that you wish to boost, an indicator next to the key will flash.

2. Touch the Boost button, the heating zone will begin to work at Boost mode. The power display will
show “P” to indicate that the zone is boosting
3. The Boost power will last for 5 minutes and then the zone will go back to the power stage which was
set before boost.
4. If you want to cancel Boost, touch the heating zone selection button first, an indicator next to the key
will flash. And then touch the Boost button. The heating zone will go back to the power stage which
was set before boost.
Using the Timer
Using the Timer as a Minute Minder
If you are not selecting any cooking zone
1. Make sure the cooktop is turned on.
Note: you can use the minute minder even if you’re not selecting any cooking zone.
2. Touch timer control , The minder indicator will start flashing and “30” will show in the
timer display.
3. Set the time by touching the”-“ or ”+” control of the timer
Hint: Touch the “-“ or ”+” control of the timer once to decrease or increase by 1 minute.
Hold the “-“ or “+” control of the timer to decrease or increase by 10 minutes.
4. When the time is set, it will begin to count down immediately. The display will show the remaining
time and the timer indicator will flash for 5 seconds.
5. Buzzer will bips for 30 seconds and the timer indicator shows “- - “ when the setting time finished.
Setting the timer to turn the cooking zone off
1. Touching the heating zone selection control that you want to set the timer for.
2. Touch timer control , The minder indicator will start flashing and “30” will show in the
timer display.
3. Set the time by touching the or control of the timer
Hint: Touch the “-“ or “+” control of the timer once will decrease or increase by 1
minute.
Touch and hold the ”-“ or “+” control of the timer will decrease or increase by 10
minutes.
4. When the time is set, it will begin to count down immediately. The display will show the
remaining time and the timer indicator flash for 5 seconds.
NOTE: The red dot next to power level indicator will illuminate indicating that zone is
selected.
Using the child Lock
To lock the controls
Touch the keylock control. The timer indicator will show “ Lo
To unlock the controls
1. Make sure the Induction hob is turned on.
2. Touch and hold the keylock contro for a while
3. You can now start using your Induction hob.

If an abnormality comes up, the induction hob will enter the protective state automatically and display
corresponding protective codes:

Problem

1.One or two cooking
zones are not woking
a. What's the display board show?
1)If display U, please check points
1.b,1.c and 1.d first, if it is not the
problem of b,c or d, check the coil and
power board then replace the broken
one.
2)If display nothing, check if the power
board or EMC & power supply board or
power cable is broken, then replace the
broken one.
b. Please check what pot does the user
use, and dimension of the pot bottom? If
other zones use this pot can work or not?
1) If other zones can work with this
pot,only one or two zones can not and
display U, then the bottom of pot should
be too small.
2) Using a pot that with bigger bottom to
check if the un-working zones can work
or not, if yes, means the hob can work
normally.
c. If the hob can not work at some of the
power level and some can ?
The hob is working normally, please
replace a bigger pot.
d.The selected button can not be actived.
Pleaes replace the display board.
2.The hob can not
work (can not turn
on, without any
response)
a. Please help check if there are any
display or beep once reconnect the power
cable and switch on the main switch( not
the on/off key of hob) within 1 sec?
1) If you can hear the beep, then check
2.b or 2.c.
2) If can not hear any beep, then check
if the power board or EMC & power
supply board is broken, then replace the
broken one.
b.Once reconnecting the power cable and
switch on the main switch( not the on/off
key of hob) within 1 sec, you can see the
display board is on and hear the beep, but
when touch the on/off key of the zone, can
not turn on the hob?
Please check if the power board or EMC
& power supply board is broken, then
replace the broken one.
c.Once reconnecting the power cable and
switch on the main switch( not the on/off
key of hob) within 1 sec, you can see the
display board is on and hear the beep, and
touch the on/off key of the zone, the hob is
on, but touch the other keys, no response?
Pleaes replace the display board.

3.The problem of the
display board
a.Please check if it is automatically do the
power selection and appears a few seconds
after turning on the cooktop

4. The hob can not
work at lower than
power level 5 or 7
a.If the display board is display U?
1)Display Ucheck 1.b, 1.c and 1.d first,
then check the coil and power board,
then replace the broken one.
2)If display nothing, check if the power
board or EMC & power supply board or
power cable is broken, then replace the
broken one.
b.The hob can working, just the heating is
not well?
The hob can not work continuously at
these power level, it is normal.
