• In order to reduce the risk of

burning, electric shock, fire or

injury, read the user manual

carefully before using your

appliance and follow the ins-

tructions about the operation,

troubleshooting and cleaning

of your appliance.

• Children  years or older and

individuals who suffer from

physical, auditory or mental

impairment or have a lack of

experience and knowledge can

only use this appliance under

supervision and only after they

receive necessary instructions

on safe use of the appliance

and understand the potential

dangers involved.

• Children must not play with the

appliance. Do not allow child-

ren hang down from the door.

• Cleaning and user-maintenance

procedures should not be per-

formed by unsupervised child-

ren.

• When you want to dispose the

appliance, remove its plug from

the power outlet; and in order

to prevent children from recei-

ving electric shock and locking

themselves inside the applian-

ce, cut the power connection

cable as closest as possible to

the appliance and disassemble

the door.

• Whenever an older model

with a spring door or cover

lock (latch) is to be replaced

with this appliance, which is

equipped with magnetic door

seals, ensure that the spring

lock is not in use prior to the

disposal of the older appliance.

This precaution will prevent the

appliance's becoming a death

trap for children.

• WARNING: Keep the venti-

lation holes on the cover and

body of the appliance open.

• WARNING: Do not use mec-

hanic tools or other artificial

methods to accelerate defros-

ting.

• WARNING: Unless sugges-

ted by the manufacturer, do not

use electrical devices in parts

of the appliance where foods

are kept.

• WARNING: Do not damage

the gas circuit of the refrige-

rator.

• WARNING: In order to avoid

the damages arising from the

imbalance of the appliance, the

appliance must be secured as

instructed.

• WARNING: Refrigerant and

isolation purging gas is an inf-

lammable gas. The appliance

must be disposed at an autho-

rized waste disposal facility. Do

not expose the appliance to fire.

• Refrigerant: Refrigerant iso-

butane (Ra) contained

in the coolant circuit of the

appliance is a very environment

friendly but inflammable natural

gas. Ensure that none of the

components of the appliance's

coolant circuit are damaged

during transportation and ins-

tallation. Refrigerant (Ra)

is an inflammable gas.

•

Caution: fire risk. If

the coolant circuit is dama-

ged: Avoid from open fire and

flammable sources. Ventilate

the room well where the app-

liance is placed. Changing the

product specifications or mo-

difying this product in any way

is dangerous.

• WARNING: Do not store exp-

losive materials such as aerosol

boxes in the refrigerator.

• This appliance is intended to

be used indoors such as houses

and etc. For example:

- In stores, shops, offices and

staff kitchens of other working

environments;

- Farm houses;

- By guests in the rooms of ho-

tels, motels and other residen-

tial type environments;

- Bed and breakfast serving

places.

- In food and drink serving and

for other non-retail practices.

• The appliance is not intended

for commercial or public use.

• WARNING: Operation of the

appliance for purposes other

than its intended purpose may

cause damage and dangerous

conditions and it renders the

warranty void. Damages occur-

red due to these environments

are compensated by the user.

• If your feeder cable is not

proper for the outlet, it must

be replaced by the authorized

service in order to prevent any

danger.

• WARNING: If your feeder

cable is damaged, it must be

replaced by the authorized

service or competent persons.

• A special grounded plug has

been connected to the ma-

ins cable of your refrigerator.

This plug must be used with a

specially grounded socket of

 amperes. If there is no such

socket in your house, please

have it installed by an authori-

zed electrician.

• Connect the device only to an

AC current and a grounded

socket. Manufacturer shall

not be held responsible for

damages that may arise due to

utilization without grounding.

• In order to avoid possible elect-

ric shocks, ensure that your

appliance's grounding wire and

stray voltage protection circuit

are in god condition.

• If the outlet where the electric

plug is to be connected is loose,

do not plug it in. That constitu-

tes fire and electric shock risk.

• Never use your appliance under

following circumstances:

• If the appliance, its lamp, the

electric cable or plug is dama-

ged;

• If the appliance is dropped; if

there are visible signs of dama-

ge or the appliance does not

function correctly,

• If the appliance is damaged

to the extent that its electrical

parts are seen,

• If the appliance has got wet or

dropped into water or other li-

quids, or been exposed to flood

or if its electrical parts has been

in contact with water

• If a strange voice, smoke or

odour comes from the appli-

ance.

• If any of the conditions desc-

ribed above are observed,

disconnect the power cable

immediately and contact an

authorized service.

• A damaged appliance or da-

maged parts can cause serious

injuries and fire.

• There are no user repairab-

le parts inside the appliance.

There is risk of electric shock in

case of touching the electrical

connections within the product

and/or modifying the electrical

and mechanical structure of the

product. In case of any failure,

do not attempt to repair the

appliance yourself. Otherwise,

the appliance shall be void of

warranty.

• Use of accessories not recom-

mended by manufacturer may

cause damage on appliance

and injury.

• The appliance must be con-

nected and operated only in

accordance with the informati-

on on type plate. Check if the

voltage value of your electricity

grid is consistent with the values

indicated on the rating plate of

the appliance prior to use.

• The appliance must only be

fed through a power source

with ~V / Hz single

phase alternative current. If

the voltage fluctuations at the

user's place have a voltage out-

side the above range, for safety

reasons, definitely use a W

automatic voltage regulator for

the refrigerator.

• To avoid electric shock, do not

use your appliance outdoors or

on wet floors.

• When unplugging it from the

outlet, hold on its plug and

pull it out, do not pull the cord

directly.

• Appliance's rated residual cur-

rent must be fed through a

residual current device (RCD)

that does not exceed  mA.

• Do not use a multi-way socket

or an extension cable.

• Do not operate the appliance

without the cover on the inte-

rior lighting lamp.

• Do not insert a plug whose

cable is damaged, torn or worn-

out into the socket. Never pull,

bend or damage the cable.

Crushed or damaged power

cable may get overheated and

cause to fire.

• Do not break or scrape the ice

with pointed objects such as

knives.

• Never insert/take out the plug

to/from the socket with wet

hands in order not to cause any

electrical shock.

• Do not place hot objects ne-

arby the plastic components of

the appliance.

• Do not place the food products

towards the air outflow at the

back wall.

• Store frozen foods according to

the instructions of frozen food

producer.

• Food producer's storage advi-

ces must be followed. Refer to

relevant storage instructions.

• Please do not ever place aci-

dic drinks in glass bottles and

cans in the deep-freeze com-

partment of your refrigerator.

Bottles and cans may burst out.

• For your safety, do not place

any explosive and flammable

materials in your refrigerator.

Place the drinks with high al-

cohol content into the cooling

compartment of the device

with their lids tightly closed and

in a vertical position.

• Avoid any manual contact as

you take out the ice made in the

freezer compartment; the ice

may cause burns and/or cuts.

• Never touch the frozen food

with wet hands. Do not eat the

ice cream and ice cubes imme-

diately after taking them out of

the freezer compartment.

• Do not refreeze the frozen food

once they are thawed. It may

pose a danger for your health

as it may cause problems such

as food poisoning.

• Do not place the appliance as

exposed to direct sunlight.

• Keep burning candles, lamps

and other objects with active

fire away from the appliance,

so that the appliance does not

catch fire.

• The appliance is intended for

the storage of food and/or

drinks for household use as

instructed in this manual. The

appliance is heavy. Proper at-

tention should be paid during

carriage.

• If your hands are damp/wet,

do not take out anything from

the freezer compartment nor

touch anything in there since it

may cause cuts and ice burns

in your skin.

• Never use the appliance's base,

drawers, doors, etc. for standing

on or as support.

• Do not consume ice cubes and

ice sweets right after taking

them out of the freezer com-

partment as it may cause ice

burns on lips and mouth.

• In order to prevent items from

falling on the ground and cau-

sing injuries or damages to the

appliance, do not overfill the

door shelves or drawers with

food.

• WARNING: Packaging ma-

terial may cause suffocating.

Keep away from the reach of

children.

• Unplug the cable of the appli-

ance if it will not be used for a

long time.

• Ensure that the appliance's

socket is plugged out from the

outlet and the power connec-

tion is cut under the following

conditions:

- Before installation;

- Before cleaning and mainte-

nance;

- Before repair works.

Safety Information for

Performing Cleaning

and Maintenance

• Clean the appliance regularly

as stated in the "Cleaning and

Maintenance" section. Before

starting the cleaning and ma-

intenance procedure, always

unplug the appliance from the

outlet.

• Do not clean the refrigerator by

pouring water on it.

• Wipe the inner and outer parts

of your appliance by using

warm and soapy water with a

soft cloth or sponge. Do not

clean the appliance with metal

objects, steam cleaners, volatile

oil or abrasive cleaning subs-

tances.

• Do not use sharp objects to

clean ice and frost from the

appliance. Use a plastic remo-

ver instead.

• WARNING: Risk of electric

shock! Place the interior parts,

other parts and accessories on

the appliance after cleaning

and rinsing them well. Make

sure that your appliance or its

parts and accessories are dry

before operating it. Permeation

of water inside the electrical

components of your appliance

will cause serious damage to

your appliance.

Safety Information for

Carrying and Transportation

• Do not damage coolant gas

circuit of the refrigerator while

moving or placing it.

• Secure the accessories insi-

de the appliance in order to

prevent the accessories from

getting damaged while moving.

• Do not bend your appliance

more than  degrees while

moving or using it since it may

cause compressor damage.

• If your appliance comes with

a door handle, do not carry or

move your appliance by holding

the handle.

• Original packages and fo-

ams may be stored for re-

transportation (optional).

• In case of re-transportation, you

should tie your refrigerator with

thick packaging material, tapes

or strong ropes and certainly

abide by the transportation ru-

les mentioned on the package.

• During relocation or trans-

portation, firstly take off the

moveable parts inside your ref-

rigerator (shelves, accessories,

crisper, etc.) or tape them inside

the refrigerator to consolidate

against jolts.

Safety Information for

Installing the Appliance

• Installation and repair must be

performed by an Authorized

Service. The manufacturer shall

not be responsible for the da-

mages occurring due to inter-

ventions made by unauthorized

personnel. Call the Call Centre

in order to contact the authori-

zed service. Power cable must

be easily accessible after the

installation. Before starting to

use your refrigerator, you may

reach the nearest authorized

service by calling the call cent-

re and request assistance for

the installation, operation and

utilization of your refrigerator.

• Place your refrigerator in a su-

itable dry and damp free spot

which will not be exposed to

rain, frost or direct sunlight. Your

refrigerator should not be used

in the open air.

• There should not be any car-

pet, rug, etc., underneath your

refrigerator that may hinder air

circulation.

• In order to prevent contact with

the hot components (compres-

sor, condenser) or to prevent

holding of these components

and the fire risk, back of the

appliance must face towards

the wall if suitable.

• It should be at least cm away

from heat sources such as coo-

kers, ovens, wing radiators and

stoves and at least  cm away

from electrical ovens.

Ventilation of the Appliance

• WARNING: In order to increa-

se the cooling efficiency and to

save energy, the heat should be

well distributed. For that purpo-

se, the appliance must be well

ventilated around. For that re-

ason, sufficient distances must

be left around the appliance.

• Recommendation: There sho-

uld be at least  mm open

space between the wall and

the backside,  mm on top,

 between the wall and the

sides and a sufficient open

space which allow doors to

wide open°. Below figure

Adjusting the

Adjustable Legs

To ensure smooth and vibration-

free operation of your refrigerator,

the adjustable front feet must be

set at the suitable height and mu-

tually balanced. You may adjust

the adjustable legs of the appli-

ance before placing food inside

by following these steps:

. Slide the refrigerator to its place.

. Rotate the adjustable leg with

your fingers or with an appropriate

spanner until its touches on the

ground.

 By rotating the leg - times

more, bend the appliance's top

about- mm backwards. This

will allow the door to lose by itself

and will ensure that the door seal

will always be kept closed.

. When you need to carry the

device, do not forget to rotate the

appliance's leg upwards so that the

appliance slides freely. Repeat the

installation after changing its place.

CAUTION:Since the wheels are

not swivel castors, they must only

be used when moving the appli-

ance back and forth. Moving the

refrigerator sideways may cause

damage to the wheels or to the

surface it stands.

Please attach the handle first be-

fore using the appliance.

You may attach the door handles

by following the steps below:

• Attach the handle to the door

and tighten two screws with a

screwdriver after ensuring that

holes of the handles are firmly

attached to the door. ()

• Ensure that front side of the

handle is in alignment with the

top handle grip and ensure that

top and bottom handle grip na-

ils match each other. Otherwise

nails may be broken. ()

• Ensure that nails fit together by

applying force. ()

• NOTE: It may be easier to

perform assembly from bottom

to up. Assembly of lower handle

will be the same for the upper

handle.

• After successfully installing the

appliance you need to clean it

thoroughly before use. You may

find detailed information on

cleaning in the "Cleaning and

Maintenance" section.

JJ Before Use

• Before using your refrigerator, wipe all

its parts with warm water in which you

shall add one teaspoon of sodium bi-

carbonate, then rinse it with clean water

and dry it. After the cleaning process is

completed, place all the parts back.

• In order to allow flowing the oil back to

the compressor it is recommended to

wait at least for four hours.

JJ Usage

• Use your appliance as instructed by the

user manual; your appliance is equipped

with functions and modes as shown in

the illustrated control panels. When the

appliance is powered for the first time,

background lighting of the symbols on

the display panel starts to run. Backgro-

und lighting goes off when no button is

pushed or when the doors are closed.

Temperature control

When you operate your refrigerator for the

first time, it is recommended that fridge

temperature and freezer temperature are

set to °C and -°C respectively. If you

need to change the temperature, follow the

steps below:

CAUTION: When you adjust the tempe-

rature, you will set an average temperature

for the entire fridge compartment. Tempe-

rature of each section may be different from

that of displayed on the panel depending

on how much food you stored in and where

these foods are placed. The peripheral tem-

perature may affect the current temperature

inside the appliance as well.

. Freezer Compartment

Press the "Freezer Compartment" button

in order to adjust the freezer compartment

temperature between °C and-°C;

control panel will display the corresponding

value as sorted in the following.

. Quick Freezing

Hızlı Dondurma

Quick freezing function quickly

reduces the temperature inside the freezer

compartment and may freeze your food

products quicker than usual. This will allow

you to preserve your food for prolonged

time by locking the vitamins and nutrients

in the food.

• To activate the quick freeze function,

press the "Quick Freeze" button. When

you press the button a light will go on

and the temperature set shows -°C.

• If you will fill maximum amount of food,

we recommend operating the appliance

for  hours prior to use.

• Quick freeze function becomes auto-

matically off after  hours.

• When the quick freeze function is acti-

vated, you may deactivate it by pressing

the "Quick Freeze" or "Freezer Com-

partment" button and then setting the

temperature of the freezer compartment

to its previous level.

. Cooler

Press the "Cooler" button in order to ad-

just the cooler compartment temperature

between °C and-°C; control panel will

display the corresponding value as sorted

in the following.

. Fast Cooling Mode

Fast cooling feature cools your

food quicker than usual and therefore allows

you to store them fresh for prolonged time.

• To activate this function, press the "Fast

Cooling" button. When you press the

button a light flashes and the cooler

temperature set shows -°C.

• Fast Cooling function becomes auto-

matically off after  hours.

• When the Fast Cooling function is acti-

vated, you may deactivate it by pressing

on "Fast Cooling" or "Cooler" button

and then setting the temperature of the

freezer to its previous level.

. Holiday

If you have to leave the house for a long

vacation or a business trip, you may activate

this function by pressing the Holiday button

until the light becomes on for  seconds.

Tatil

• Cooler compartment is set to desired

temperature before being activated

to holiday mode. Cooler temperature

setting displays "-" and the cooler com-

partment continues to operate.

• IMPORTANT: Do not store food in the

cooler during that time; otherwise it will

be spoiled in a short while.

• When the holiday mode is active, you

may deactivate the mode by pressing on

any of the "Holiday", "Freezer" or "Fast

Cooling Mode". Cooler temperature will

go back to previous setting.

. Alarm

In case of an alarm, "Alarm"

symbol will be on and a signal will be he-

ard. In order to erase the alarm, press the

"Alarm" button. This will make the "Alarm"

symbol off and the signal sound will be cut.

Door Alarm

• When the door of the cooler or the fre-

ezer is left ajar for more than  minutes,

door alarm will be activated. In case of

door alarm, alarm signal will sound for

 times a minute and will stop after 

minutes.

• For saving energy, please avoid leaving

the doors ajar for long periods when

using the refrigerator. When the door

alarm is activated, it may be also deac-

tivated by closing the doors.

Temperature Alarm

• If the freezer temperature is very high

due to a power failure or for another

reason, the appliance will give a tempe-

rature alarm and the freezer temperature

setting will be displayed as "-".

• In case of a temperature alarm, signal

sound will continuously play  times.

• In case of a Temperature Alarm, in order

to be able to see the highest freezer

temperature, press the "Alarm" button

for  seconds. Temperature value and

"Alarm" symbol will simultaneously blink

for  seconds.

• WARNING: It is normal that the ref-

rigerator displays temperature alarm

when it is re-powered. In this case, you

may press the "Alarm" button to erase

the alarm.

Door shelf

• Suitable for storing egg, canned bevera-

ges, bottled beverages and packed food

and etc. Do not overload the shelves

with too many heavy items.

• Glass shelves in cooler section can be

pulled up and removed for cleaning.

Crisper and humidity control

• Crisper is for preserving the vegetables

and fruits. You may adjust the humidity

in the crisper by using the sliding part.

• Sliding part on the cover of the crisper

may be slid to right or left to enlarge

or narrow the air hole. Larger air hole

means less humidity and narrower air

hole means more humidity.

• You are recommended to keep the ve-

getables with more humidity and fruits

with less humidity.

Divider

• When you want to remove the crisper,

pull it to the front and then remove it

from the nails by raising it. Do not for-

get to empty it priorly. When you have

removed the drawers, ensure that the

rails are sent their way back in.

• Divider easily arranges the crisper when

you will store different types of food.

Icematic

• Icematic is used for preparing and ser-

ving out ice cubes. It may be used in the

following way:

• Remove the icematic container from

its place.

• Pour drinking water in it. (Do not exceed

the maximum water level)

• Place back the filled ice container into

the frame.

• Wait for about  hours and turn the

buttons clockwise. Ices will fall into the

ice box located under the ice container.

• NOTE: It is not recommended to pro-

duce ice in the ice box since it may crack.

• In order to prevent ice from damaging

your hand by sticking, do not hold the

ice container directly.

Placing the Food

Cooler Compartment

• To prevent humidification and odour

formation, the food should be placed

in the refrigerator in enclosed cups or

with their top being covered. Otherwise,

the humidity level inside the refrigerator

will increase. And this will cause over-

working of your refrigerator. Covering

the food and drinks will also help pre-

serving their tastes and flavours.

• Hot food and drinks should be cooled

in the room temperature before being

placed in the refrigerator.

• Meat may be placed as wrapped in foil.

• Fruits and vegetables may be placed in

the crisper directly without wrapping.

• Cooked food, cold meals and etc. Sho-

uld be covered and may be placed on

any shelf.

• Butter and cheese: Should be wrapped

with air proof folio or stretch film.

• Foodstuffs: Wrap and place them on the

glass shelf over the crisper.

• Milk bottles: Should have lids and be

preserved on the door shelves.

• Cooler air duct distributes cold air to

the cooler compartment. Closing these

ducts with food and preventing the dist-

ribution of air should be avoided. Please

do not prop the packaged food and

containers against the lamp and cover

of the cooler compartment.

• Avoid placing humid food at the back

of the refrigerator since they may be

frozen when in contact with cool air. In

order to prevent this, preserve food in

closed containers.

• Potatoes, onions and garlic should not

be stored in the refrigerator.

• Place the food properly inside so as the

air is freely circulated around them.

Freezer Compartment

• For working for the first time or after a

long period of pause, operate the app-

liance for at least  hours at high setting

before storing food in the compartment.

• Prepare your food in small portions so

as to allow a quick and complete freeze

and to allow thawing only the required

amount.

• Wrap the food with aluminium foil or

with air-proof food stretches.

• Do not let fresh, unfrozen food get in

contact with unfrozen food in order to

prevent increase in their temperature .

• Do not place fresh and hot food on the

freezer compartment's door to freeze

them. Use only for storing frozen food.

• When consumed directly after being

taken of the freezer compartment, ice

products may cause freeze burns on

the skin.

• In order to be able to monitor the pre-

servation time you are recommended

to label each frozen item by affixing a

date on them.

• Freezer is used for storing the frozen or

deep frozen food for a long time and for

producing ice.

• When freezing fresh food (for example,

meat, fish and ground meat) divide them

into amounts that you may use at once.

• In order to preserve frozen food, you

should follow the producer's instructions

on the food; if no instruction was affixed

on the food, the food must be preserved

maximum for a period of  months.

• When buying frozen food, make sure

that the food has gotten frozen at

appropriate temperatures and that the

package is not damaged.

• Frozen food must be carried in the

proper containers for preservation of

the quality and should be placed in the

freezer compartment of the appliance

as soon as possible.

• If you notice humidity and swelling on

the package of the food, it is likely that

it had been kept under improper tempe-

rature and the content is spoiled.

• Shelf life of a frozen food depends on

the room temperature, temperature

setting of the freezer compartment,

frequency of fridge's door's opening,

type of the food and the time necessary

to carry the food from supermarket to

home. Always abide by the instructions

on the package and never exceed the

indicated storage duration.

• Prepare your food in small portions so

as to allow a quick and complete freeze

and to allow thawing only the required

amount.

• After thawing, food will spoil quickly and

it should not be frozen again.

• If the frozen food taken out of the deep

freezer is placed in the bottom drawer

one day before, it thaws there and

supports the cooling in the fridge. That

saves energy. If the items in the freezer

are directly placed outside, this will cause

energy loss.

• The frozen meat should be cooked just

like fresh meat once it is thawed. If the

meat is not cooked after being thawed;

it should never ever be frosted again.

• The taste of some spices found in co-

oked dishes (anise, basilica, watercress,

vinegar, assorted spices, ginger, garlic,

onion, mustard, thyme, marjoram, black

pepper, etc.) changes and they assume

a strong taste when they are stored for a

long period. Therefore, the frozen food

should be added little amount of spices

or the desired spice should be added

after the food has been thawed.
