Connectthe1550FieldSetupDisplayto

theRJ45jackontheundersideofanylive

CounterStation.(Thejackisatanangle.)

Uponconnection,the1550displays

“Series1500EQUIPMENTCALIBRATION

PLATFORM”.



• HoldtheSETUPkeyontheCounter

StationforonesecondtoenterSetup

Mode.The1550displaysthetoplevel

ofthemenushownonpage4.

• Tonavigatethemenus,usethe

VOLUMEUPandVOLUMEDOWN

keystomovethecursor.

• UseSETUPtoenterasubmenuorconrmaselection,andPRIVACYtogo

back.

• Anychangesyoumakearerecordedasyouexiteachmenu.Whenyouexit

SetupMode,youmustchoosetoeithersaveallchangesandexit,orexit

withoutsaving.

• Ifyouneedtore-enterSetupMode,simplypressSETUPfor1second.

• Forfastermenunavigation,submenusmaybeselectedbytouchingthe

keythatislitREDcorrespondingtothemenuitem(seethenumberedkeys

above).Forinstance,toenterBLOWERMOTORDELAY,press1andthen1.

• ToExitSetupModefromanymenu,holdSETUPforonesecondandfollow

thepromptsonthe1550.

• AfteradjustingaLaneStationorCounterStation,usetheCAMERAUPor

CAMERADOWNkeystoselectotherstationsforadjustmentwithoutleaving

thesubmenu.

TheseinstructionsareapplicabletoSeries1500Intercomsystemswithv4.0or

higherrmware.IfyoursystemisnotSDcard-compatible,orhasv3.9orearlier

rmware,callAudioAuthoritytechnicalsupport.

Downloadthelatestrmwareversionfrom

http://www.audioauthority.com/page/series1500rmwareandfollowthe

instructionstocopythenecessarylesontoanSDcard.

Note:Series1500equipmentwithrmwarepriortoversion1.5maynotbe

upgradedtoversion4.07usingolderhubs.Toupgradetoversion4.07,these

systemsmusthaveanew1509SDhub,oranew1517SDhubcard.

Thisupgrademaytakeseveralminutes.Thesystemcannotbeusedduringthis

time,soplanforadequatedown-timetocompleteandverifytheupgrade.

• InserttheSDmemorycardintothe1509SDor1517SDcardslot.

• Connecta1550InstallerSetupTooltotheundersideofaModel1500Counter

Stationthathasrmwarev4.0orhigher.

• PressSetupfor2seconds

• PresstheMirrorkey

• PresstheSetupkeytwice

Afterasuccessfulupgrade,“Firmwareupgradecomplete”isdisplayedonthe

1550screen.Themenuonthe1550nowshowsseveralnewselectionoptions

thatapplyonlytothenew1500A,1500AH,and1533.Oncetheupgradeis

complete,allindicatorsonthehubwillreturntonormaloperation.

*1-on-1systemsmaybeupgradedbytemporarilyconnectingahub.
