Axxion ACR-500

Radio:

1. Do not install this equipment in a confined or building-in space such as a book case or similar
unit, and remain a well ventilation conditions. The ventilation should not be impeded by covering
the ventilation openings with items such as newspaper, table-cloths, curtains etc.

readily operable.

Mains Connection
Make sure that all of the components connected correctly.
Check that the voltage level required by your equipment matches the local mains supply,
namely 230 V/AC - 50 Hz.
Plug the unit into the wall outlet.

Battery Operation
Remove the battery compartment cover
Insert 4 X R14S Size C1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity as indicated inside the
battery compartment
Remarks: Clock back up battery in 2xAAA size.1.5V
NOTE: Check your batteries regularly, old or discharged batteries may leak and damage the
unit. Remove the batteries if the unit will not be used for long periods of time or if AC power is
being predominately used.
The unit will automatically switch between AC and DC power. If the AC cord is plugged in, the
unit will use AC power. If the AC cord is not plugged in and batteries are inserted the unit will
use DC power. When replacing batteries always ensure you do not mix old and new batteries
and replace with the same type batteries.
Listening to the Radio
Press the Function switch to Radio mode to power on the unit.
Choose the radio ware band (AM, FM) using the BAND Button
Search for the station of your choice using the Tuning knob.
To switch off the radio, Press the Function Button to select the Power off or Aux mode to
off the unit.
NOTE: For optimum FM radio reception, extend the FM antenna wire. For AM radio
reception, a ferrite antenna built into the unit is used. To improve reception quality, rotate the
unit.
Aux in Function
Press the Function switch to select the Aux function.
You can put the other audio products through the Aux in jack to play the music.
Clock and Alarm Operation
Setting the Clock
Press the up button to select your desired hour, press the down button to select your desired
minutes
Alarm Setting
Set the Function switch to Buzzer mode, press the AL/ON/OFF Button to open the alarm
Set the time which you desired to alarm, then press the up button to adjust the correct hour and
press the down button to adjust the correct minutes
Note: The alarm of buzzer could continue for 3 minutes!
