Welcome to Sytech! Thank you for purchasing the new Cordless Kettle SY-HV100. To enjoy all the features of this
cordless kettle, read this manual carefully. To prevent damage or injury, always follow the safety instructions in this
manual.

The following safety precautions should always be followed when using domestic electrical products to
reduce the risk of electric shock, personal injury or fire. It is important to keep these instructions for
future reference after you have read and understood them and before attempting to use the product.

It is important to read this manual before using the kettle for the first time.
Before connecting the plug to the power outlet, ensure that the voltage of your home corresponds to voltage
supported by the device, which appears on the label of the unit
Do not let children play with the unit.
This appliance is not intended for use by use by persons (including children)with reduce physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
By moving the unit from place to place, handle with care; if the unit is dropped or hit, it will stop working
properly. Always put the kettle on a table or flat surface during use.
To avoid damaging the cable, always keep away from sharp edges or corners.
Make sure the appliance is unplugged when not in use. Only insert the plug into an outlet current, do not use
extensions or multiple sockets, as this may cause an overload in the circuit.
Be sure to fill the water in the kettle and then connect it to the mains.
Keep the power cord plugged into an earthed switch during use.
Be sure to close the lid before using the kettle.
WARNING: Never open the lid when the water is boiling.
The automatic safety will protect the kettle from damage caused by overheating.
If the kettle is functioning without water, immediately remove the plug from the outlet and then pour cold water
to cool the base down. The safety switch will reset itself.
If your outlet is damaged or loose, the appliance may overheat. If this occurs, please contact the Service
Center Sytech.
Any accessory that is NOT supplied with the kettle should not be used because it can cause fire, electric
shock or personal injury.
Make sure the device is properly and completely assembled before operating.
Do not immerse the unit in water or any other liquid. Use only a damp cloth to clean the body.
Do not use abrasive cleaners to clean this unit.
When using the appliance, always pay attention to the water level mark the outside of the kettle.
Do not allow the water level to be below the minimum level and never exceed the maximum level.
If the power cord is damaged, the appliance malfunctions, or other accessories are broken /
contact the Service Center Sytech. Never try to handle the product yourself, as this may void the warranty.
Always store in a safe, dry place when you are not using the device
The cordless kettle can only work with its own base.
The boiler will only turn on or off with the ON/OFF button. Never turn on the kettle before placing it on the base
This appliance is designed for domestic use only.
Never allow the base or bottom of the kettle to get in contact with water. Do not immerse the Kettle or the base
in water. If this event occurs, contact the Sytech Repairs Center before reuse.
To comply with safety regulations and to avoid hazards, repairs of Electrical equipment
must be performed by qualified personnel. If a repair is necessary, please contact Sytech service center.
Caution:
Do not force the "ON / OFF" button or return to the "ON" position when the kettle disconnects automatically as
this process can damage the kettle and heating element.
The appliance operates at very high temperatures; there is a chance of scalding from the escaping water or
steam. Do not touch any part of the kettle except the handle when the appliance is in use and ensure that the
lid is properly closed.
If there is no water inside the kettle, do not turn the kettle on.
Never open the lid while the water is boiling.

Operation Guidelines
Before the first use
Prior to initial use, clean the kettle by going through several boiling cycles using clean water each time and filling
the kettle to its maximum capacity. The water will reach boiling point after approximately 5 minutes. At this point the
appliance switches off automatically.
Using the Kettle
Place the heating base on a firm and uniform surface
Pour the desired amount of water into the kettle and make sure the lid is closed properly. The water level
can be measured by the level mark on the exterior of the appliance. Once the appliance is functioning, do
not touch any part other than the handle.
Place the kettle carefully onto the base.
Insert the plug into the wall socket.
Turn on the appliance to start the heating process, the indicator lamp will turn on showing that the
appliance is functioning.
As soon as the water has boiled, the appliance will switch off automatically. If a lower water temperature is
desired, the appliance can be switched off manually as well.
The water may now be poured safely through the spout into another container.
Safety cut out function
The SY-HV100 is equipped with a safety cut out feature. Should the kettle have no water and the switch is
turned on, the switch will automatically turn off.
In such cases, unplug the appliance and reuse it after 15-20 seconds.
Cleaning and care
Cleaning the appliance and its parts is easiest immediately after use.
Always ensure that the plug is disconnected from the wall socket, and that the unit has fully cooled down
before cleaning the kettle.
Do not use abrasive cleaning products.
Do not immerse the base or kettle in any liquids. To clean the body (exterior), use a slight moist lint-free
cloth.
It is advisable to remove lime deposits from the kettle at regular intervals.
Decalcifying
If the appliance switches off before reaching boiling point, it is a sign that decalcifying is needed.
Any regular de-scaling agent may be used, provided that the relevant instructions are observed.
To clean the kettle thoroughly after decalcification, let it go through several boiling cycles using clean
water each time. Rinse the kettle with clean water afterwards and let it dry before re-use.
