Introduction
The FU8110 arming station is an optional additional module for
the Secvest wireless alarm centre. It is used to activate and
deactivate partitions or the entire wireless alarm system, and is
equipped with an integrated chip key reader. In order to use this
reader, the arming station must be supplied with power from an
external 12 V power source. The arming station can also be used
to control outputs. It is placed mainly on side doors or garage
doors, as well as all other possible access partitions. The station
corresponds to protection class IP54, meaning it can be used in
protected outdoor areas as well as indoor areas.

Installing the arming station
1. Open the arming station housing by removing the screws
on the bottom side.
2. Using the base plate as a drilling template, mark the drill
holes on the wall. Drill the holes and insert the wall plugs.
3. To fit battery push into location with the positive contact
towards the “+”. To replace battery remove old battery
from mount and replace as above. Dispose of old battery
as instructed above.
4. For Prox coil facility the arming station should be
connected to an external power source, connect 12DC /
100 mA to TB1 marked “DC in” 0V and 12V as indicated.
5. Screw the rear side of the housing to the wall.
6. Train the arming station and then close the cover again.
Learning procedure
1. Set the Secvest to learning mode (see the alarm centre
installation instructions) and send a tamper message from
the arming station to the wireless
alarm system.
2. The wireless alarm system emits a double tone
when the learn signal is received correctly.
The signal strength is also displayed.
3. Confirm the successful learning procedure on
the system.

Programming
A function can be assigned to each of the four function keys
on the wireless alarm system. Consult the operating manual
of the wireless alarm system for more details. Additionally
you can decide whether the panel will be instant set or timed
set after receiving the command from the arming station.
After entering a valid user code, the wireless alarm system
can be activated and deactivated and the outputs can be
controlled by pressing the corresponding function key.
This is made in a similar way to the remote control unit.

Proximity reader
The arming station is equipped with a coil that can be used
to activate and deactivate the alarm centre easily using a
proximity chip key and without entering a code. In order to
use this function, the arming station must be operated with
the battery and an additional external 12 V power source.
The coil works at a low wireless frequency and has a circular
detection area around the arming station. Proximity chip
keys can be detected by wood, stone,
plaster, glass and plastic. The influence of external
electromagnetic devices and large metal structures
can lead to a lower reception quality. Mobile phones
can also lead to reception problems.
This product complies with the requirements of the
EC directive: 1995/5/EC “Directive on radio and
telecommunications terminal equipment and the
mutual recognition of their conformity”.
