OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
Important: People (including children) who are not able to use the
appliance in a safe way, due to their physical, sensorial or mental
capacity or their lack of experience or knowledge, must never use the
appliance except if they are supervised by a person responsible for
their safety or if they previously received instructions concerning the
safe use of the appliance.
Close supervision is necessary to prevent children from using the
appliance as a toy.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when ready to use.
From time to time check the appliance for damages. Never use the
appliance if it shows any signs of damage. All repairs should be
made by a qualified technician, like the after-sales service of the
manufacturer, used to the repair this type of appliance.
Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way
indicated in these instructions.
Never immerse the pump unit in water or any other liquid for any
reason whatsoever.
Never use the spray bottles over open fires!
Do not keep the unit close to the stove or other source of heat. The
bottle is made of plastic and could be damaged by heat.

BEFORE USE
1. Start by removing the pump unit for cleaning.
2. Grab the pump unit near the mix adjustment ring, turn anti-
clockwise and lift the part up.
3. Clean all parts according to the instructions specified below in
“Cleaning and maintenance”.
4. Fill the bottle marked “OIL” with oil and the bottle marked
“VINEGAR” with vinegar, use a funnel if needed. The bottle holds
150 ml (5oz) each side. Note that the oil and vinegar may not
contain spices or herbs, since it might block the spray function.
5. Put the pump unit back in the bottle. Make sure that the tube with
the white filter at the end is placed into the portion with oil, and the
tube with the black filter is placed into the portion with vinegar.
6. Turn the pump unit clock-wise to lock it, holding it by the mix
adjustment ring
USE
Before seasoning your meals, you can adjust your mixture (see
below) and pump up the oil and /or vinegar by pressing repeatedly
on the trigger.
Turn the pump unit, so that your desired mixture is indicated by the
arrow under the trigger. You can spray only oil, or only vinegar, and
anything in between.
How finely the oil and /or vinegar will spread depends on how fast
you press the trigger. If you want very finely spread oil and vinegar,
press the trigger fast. You will get an oil/vinegar mist.
Note: If spraying oil mist, you get results not unlike the one you would
get from a non-stick cooking spray.
If however you want the oil and vinegar more like a dash, press the
trigger more slowly/softly.

COMBINATION
If you like the same amount of oil as vinegar, turn the pump head so
that the arrow under the trigger indicates 50/50 on the mixture
scale.
If you want oil only, you turn the pump head so that the arrow
marks “100% OIL” on the mix adjustment ring; likewise, if you want
only vinegar, turn the pump head so that the arrow aligns with the
“100% VINEGAR” mark on the vinegar bottle.
All settings in between are also possible!
Note: you will achieve best result by using thin oil at room temperature.
If you use thick and/or cold oil, it might be difficult to achieve a mist-like
spray result.
TIPS
Spray oil into the frying pan or in a baking tray, before you start
frying or baking, to get low fat cooking and non-stick results!
For a healthy meal, spray over salad (vinaigrette mix) or pasta (oil),
without ever risking putting too much.
Spray over the BBQ rack or on the coated cooking surface for
easier cleaning afterwards.
CAUTION! NEVER use the unit over open fire, as a fire may result!
Store under normal room temperature and not in direct sunlight.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Please do regular maintenance as follows, and every time you feel the
unit tends to clog.
If this happens, please stop pumping immediately (as pressure would
accumulate and could damage the internal pipes in the pump head
and cause it to leak)
Remove the pump unit and carefully pull the top of the bottle
apart, and slide out to separate the 2 parts.

Clean the outside of the spray nozzles with a wet (paper) towel,
dipped in warm water with mild detergent.
Wash the bottle with warm, soapy water; use a dish brush or towel if
needed.
To clean the pump head, fill both portions of the bottle with 1/3 of
warm water and add a small amount of detergent. Secure the
pump unit on the bottle and pump repeatedly, until there is no fluid
left. Then fill the bottles again with 1/3 of clean warm water only,
and pump out the water to rinse the pump system from the
detergent.
Note: no parts of this product are dishwasher safe. Hand-wash only!

We suggest that you complete and return the enclosed Product
Registration Card promptly to facilitate verification of the date of
original purchase. However, return of the Product Registration Card is
not a condition of these warranties. You can also fill out this warranty

This KALORIK product is warranted in the U.S.A. for 1 year from the date
of purchase against defects in material and workmanship. This warranty
is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is
required to obtain warranty performance.
During this period, if the KALORIK product, upon inspection by KALORIK,
is proven defective, it will be repaired or replaced, at Kalorik’s option,
without charge to the customer. If a replacement product is sent, it will
carry the remaining warranty of the original product.
This warranty does not apply to any defect arising from a buyer's or
user's misuse of the product, negligence, failure to follow KALORIK
instructions noted in the user’s manual, use on current or voltage other
than that stamped on the product, wear and tear, alteration or repair
not authorized by KALORIK, or use for commercial purposes. There is no
warranty for glass parts, glass containers, filter basket, blades and
agitators, and accessories in general. There is also no warranty for parts
lost by the user.

ANTES DE USAR
Para empezar, retire el aparato surtidor para proceder a limpiarlo.
Tome el aparato surtidor por el lado cercano al aro para ajuste de
mezcla, gire en sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj y levante el
aparato surtidor.
Limpie todas las partes de acuerdo a las instrucciones
especificadas más abajo en "Limpieza y Mantenimiento".
Llene de aceite la botella que dice "OIL", y llene de vinagre la
botella que dice "VINEGAR". Utilice un embudo si es necesario.
Las botellas tienen una capacidad de 150 ml (5oz) cada una.
Tenga en cuenta que el aceite y el vinagre no deben contener
especias o hierbas, dado que ellas podrían bloquear la función del
aerosol.
Coloque el aparato surtidor de nuevo en la botella. Asegúrese de
que el tubo que tiene el filtro blanco en su extremo esté colocado
en la porción que contiene aceite, y que el tubo que tiene el filtro

USO

Sin embargo, si usted desea obtener el aceite y el vinagre bien como
un chorro, presione el gatillo más lenta y suavemente.
CANTIDADES
Si usted desea la misma cantidad de aceite que de vinagre, gire la
cabeza del surtidor de modo tal que la flecha que se encuentra
debajo del gatillo indique 50/50 en la escala de cantidades.
Si usted desea solamente aceite, gire la cabeza del surtidor de
modo tal que la flecha marque "100% OIL" en el aro de ajuste de
mezcla; del mismo modo, si usted desea solamente vinagre, gire la
cabeza del surtidor de tal modo que la flecha llegue a estar a la
altura de la marca “100% VINEGAR” que aparece en la botella de
vinagre.
¡Cualquier ajuste intermedio es también posible!
Nota: usted logrará los mejores resultados utilizando un aceite fino a
temperatura ambiente. Si usted utiliza un aceite grueso y/o frío, podría
resultarle difícil lograr un resultado de pulverización "rocío".
CONSEJOS ÚTILES
¡Rocíe aceite dentro de la sartén o en cualquier recipiente para
horno, antes de comenzar a freír o a hornear, para así obtener
como resultado una cocción baja en calorías y en un proceso anti-
adhesivo!
Para una comida saludable, rocíe sobre ensaladas (salsa
vinagreta) o sobre pasta (aceite), cuidando siempre no correr el
riesgo de poner una excesiva cantidad.
Rocíe sobre la parrilla del BBQ o en la superficie laminada especial

LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
Por favor: realice el mantenimiento normal de acuerdo a las
instrucciones que se dan a continuación, y hágalo cada vez que usted
tenga la impresión de que el aparato está bloqueado.
Si esto ocurre, por favor detenga el surtidor inmediatamente, (ya que
la presión podría provocar acumulamiento, lo cual podría dañar los
conductos internos en la cabeza del surtidor y causar una
pérdida/goteo.
Quite el aparato y con sumo cuidado separe el extremo superior
de la botella, luego deslícelo hacia afuera para separar las 2
partes.
Limpie el exterior del aparato para quitar todos los picos de aerosol
con un papel de toalla humedecido en una mezcla de agua tibia
con un detergente suave.
Lave la botella con agua tibia y jabón; use un cepillo para vajilla o
una toalla si fuera necesario.
Para limpiar la cabeza del surtidor, llene ambas porciones de la
botella con 1/3 de agua tibia y agréguele una pequeña cantidad
de detergente. Ajuste el aparato surtidor en la botella y presione
repetidamente, hasta que no quede ningún resto de líquido. Luego
llene las botellas nuevamente con agua tibia limpia solamente, y
presione para hacer salir el agua y así enjuagar todo el detergente
del sistema del surtidor.
Nota: Ninguna de las partes de este producto debe ser lavada en el
lava-vajillas. ¡Lave a mano solamente!

AVANT L’EMPLOI
Retirez la pompe pour nettoyage.
Attrapez la pompe par l’anneau indicateur de mélange, tournez
dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre et soulevez –la.
Nettoyez toutes les parties comme indiqué ci-dessous dans la
section « NETTOYAGE ET MAINTENANCE ». Séchez soigneusement.
Remplissez la partie marquée « OIL » avec de l’huile, et la partie
marquée « VINEGAR » avec du vinaigre, en utilisant un entonnoir si
nécessaire. La bouteille contient 150ml (5 Oz.) de chaque. Notez ni
l’huile ou le vinaigre ne doivent contenir des épices ou herbes, car
celles-ci pourrait boucher l’appareil et empêcher la pulvérisation.
Remettez en place la partie pompe. Prenez soin d’introduire le tube
avec le filtre blanc dans le côté huile, et le filtre noir dans le côté
vinaigre.
Tournez la pompe dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre pour
verrouiller la pompe en position, en la tenant par l’anneau
indicateur de mélange.
UTILISATION
Avant d’assaisonner vos plats et préparations, vous pouvez ajuster
l‘appareil sur votre dosage idéal (voir ci-dessous), et pulvériser un
mélange d’huile et de vinaigre et pressant de façon répétée sur la
gâchette.
Tournez la pompe de façon à ce que la flèche sous la gâchette
indique la proportion d’huile et de vinaigre désirée. Vous pouvez
pulvériser de l’huile uniquement, ou du vinaigre uniquement, ainsi
que toute proportion entre les deux.
La pulvérisation plus ou moins fine dépend de la façon dont vous
actionnez la gâchette. Si vous désirez obtenir une pulvérisation très
fine (bruine), appuyez rapidement.
Note : Si vous pulvérisez une bruine d’huile, le résultat sera assez proche
de celui obtenu avec un pulvérisateur d’huile de cuisson sous pression
et peut aider à obtenir une meilleure anti-adhérence des plats de
cuisson.

Cependant, si vous souhaitez obtenir plutôt un jet d’huile et de
vinaigre, appuyez sur la gâchette plus lentement.
DOSAGE
Si vous aimez un mélange équitable d’huile et de vinaigre, tournez
la pompe de façon à ce que la flèche sous la gâchette indique
50/50 sur l’anneau indicateur de mélange.
Si vous ne souhaitez que de l’huile, tournez la pompe pour que la
flèche indique « 100% OIL ». Inversement, si vous ne souhaitez que
du vinaigre, tournez la pompe pour que la flèche indique « 100%
VINEGAR »
Tous les réglages de mélange intermédiaires sont aussi possible.
Note : vous obtiendrez les meilleurs résultats en utilisant une huile fine et
à température ambiante. Si vous utilisez de l’huile très épaisse, ou
froide, il sera plus difficile de vaporiser de l’huile ou de la vinaigrette très
finement.
CONSEILS
Vaporisez de l’huile dans une poêle ou des moules de cuisson,
avant de commencer à frire ou à cuire, pour obtenir des résultats
de non-adhérence optimaux et faible en graisses.
Pour un repas sain, vaporiser sur une salade composée (vinaigrette)
ou un plat de pâtes (Huile d’olive), sans aucun risque de rajouter
trop de matières grasses.
Vaporisez sur la grille ou la plaque du barbecue pour un nettoyage
plus facile ensuite.
ATTENTION ! Ne vaporisez jamais de l’huile sur ou à proximité d’un feu
ouvert, car le feu pourrait prendre !
Conservez à température ambiante, loin de la lumière directe.

ENTRETIEN ET MAINTENANCE
Nettoyez votre appareil régulièrement, et chaque fois que vous trouvez
que les buses de l’appareil commencent à être bouchées.
Si cela arrive, cessez de pomper immédiatement (la pression pourrait
s’accumuler et endommager les tuyaux internes, et faire fuir l’appareil).
Démontez l’appareil et séparez la pompe de la bouteille.
Nettoyez l’extérieur des buses avec un papier absorbant ou un
chiffon humide, trempé dans de l’eau chaude légèrement
savonneuse.
Lavez la bouteille dans de l’eau chaude savonneuse ; utilisez une
brosse ou un chiffon à l’intérieur de la bouteille si nécessaire.
Pour nettoyer la pompe, remplissez chaque partie de la bouteille à
1/3 avec de l’eau tiède savonneuse. Ajustez la pompe sur la
bouteille et pompez de façon répétée, jusqu’à ce qu’il n’y ait plus
de liquide. Recommencez l’opération, cette fois avec de l’eau
pure chaude pour rincer.
Note : aucune partie de l’appareil ne doit être mise au lave-vaisselle.
