not
touch
live
electrical
parts.
Shut
down
welding
power
source,
and
disconnect
input
power
employing
lockout/tagging
procedures
before
installing
running
gear.
Disconnect
input
power
conductors
from
deenergized
supply
line
BEFORE
moving
welding
power
source.
Lockout/tagging
procedures
consist
of
padlocking
line
disconnect
switch
in
open
position,
removing
fuses
from
fuse
box,
or
shutting
off
and
red-tagging
circuit
breaker
or
other
disconnecting
device.
FALLING
EQUIPMENT
can
cause
serious
injury
and
equipment
damage.
Use
equipment
of
adequate
capacity
to
lift
the
unit.
If
using
lift
forks
to
handle
this
unit,
be
sure
the
lift
forks
are
long
enough
to
extend
out
of
the
opposite
side
of
the
base.
Do
not
place
any
part
of
the
body
under
the
unit
while
it
is
suspended.

Installation
Of
Running
Gear
Front
Wheel
Assembly
(Figure
1)
1.
Insert
casters
(14)
through
holes
in
channel
(15),
and
secure
with
lock
washers
(13)
and
nuts
(12).
2.
Position
channel
(15)
under
unit
base
with
open
side
of
channel
facing
inward.
3.
Secure
channel
(15)
to
unit
base
with
cap
screws
(6),
flat
washers
(5),
lock
washers
(2),
and
nuts
(1).

Installation

Rear
Wheel
Assembly
(Figure
1)
IMPORTANT:
To
allow
for
alignment
of
holes
in
rear
axle
mounting
brackets
(4)
to
insert
axle
(9),
finger
tighten
all
hardware
until final
step
in
the
assembly,
and
then
tighten
all
hardware.
1.
Install
support
bars
(3)
and
rear
axle
mounting
brackets
(4)
onto
unit
base,
and
secure
with
cap
screws
(6),
flat
washers
(5),
lock
washers
(2),
and
nuts
(1).
Be
sure
that
brackets
(4)
are
rotated
so
that
angled
edge
of
brackets
face
inward.
2.
Apply
coating
of
grease
to
one
side
of
flat
washers
(7),
and
place
greased
side
of
washers
against
both
sides
of
wheels
(8)
so
they
align
with
axle
holes
in
each
wheel.
IMPORTANT:
Make
sure
that
thickness
of
grease
is
sufficient
for
washers
to
adhere
to
sides
of
wheels.
This
will
prevent
washers
from
falling
out
when
wheels
are
positioned
within
rear
axle
mounting
brackets,
and
provide
sufficient
lubrication
for
the
wheels.
3.
Position
wheels
(8)
within
rear
axle
mounting
brackets
(4),
and
insert
axle
(9)
through
brackets
(4)
and
wheels
(8).
4.
Slide
flat
washer
(7)
onto
each
end
of
axle
(9),
and
secure
with
retaining
ring
(10).
5.
If
installing
a
cylinder
rack
on
the
running
gear,
refer
to
appropriate
Owners
Manual
for
the
model
of
rack
being
installed.
6.
Tighten
all
hardware.

Installation

Handle
(Figure
1)
IMPORTANT:
All
directions,
such
as
left
or
right,
are
with
respect
to
the
operator
facing
the
unit
front
panel.
1.
Remove
and
discard
top
two
screws
from
unit
right
and
left
side
panels.
2.
Position
holes
of
handle
(16)
over
existing
holes
in
side
panels
so
that
handle
curves
away
from
unit
and
front
panel.
3.
Secure
handle
(16)
to
side
panels
with
cap
screws
(11).

Position
channel
(15)
under
unit
base
with
open
side
of
channel
facing
inward.
3.
Secure
channel
(15)
to
unit
base
with
cap
screws
(6),
flat
washers
(5),
lock
washers
(2),
and
nuts
(1).

Rear
Wheel
Assembly
(Figure
1)
IMPORTANT:
To
allow
for
alignment
of
holes
in
rear
axle
mounting
brackets
(4)
to
insert
axle
(9),
finger
tighten
all
hardware
until
final
step
in
the
assembly,
and
then
tighten
all
hardware.
1.
Install
support
bars
(3)
and
rear
axle
mounting
brackets
(4)
onto
unit
base,
and
secure
with
cap
screws
(6),
flat
washers
(5),
lock
washers
(2),
and
nuts
(1).
Be
sure
that
brackets
(4)
are
rotated
so
that
angled
edge
of
brackets
face
inward.
2.
Apply
coating
of
grease
to
one
side
of
flat
washers
(7),
and
place
greased
side
of
washers
against
both
sides
of
wheels
(8)
so
they
align
with
axle
holes
in
each
wheel.
IMPORTANT:

sure
that

retaining
ring
(10).
5.
If
installing
a
cylinder
rack
on
the
running
gear,
refer
to
appropriate
Owners
Manual
for
the
model
of
rack
being
installed.
6.
Tighten
all
hardware.
