It is placed under the inspection lid (see "Removing the
inspection lid" - page 64), attached on the left tube
inside the frame.
On the sticker there is always the spare parts code you
can make reference to. One or more letters are pun-
ched on it to identify modifications or changes carried
out on a certain model and the indication of the nation
it is shipped to.
When asking for spare parts from your Dealer always
quote the spare parts code stamped on the above men-
tioned sticker.
Write down the identification number in the space here
below to remember it also in case of loss or deteriora-
tion of the sticker.

DESCRIPTION FUNCTION
Direction indicator warning light
(
It blinks when the direction indicators are on.
Fuel level indicator
It indicates approximately the fuel level in the tank.
When the pointer reaches the red sector, it indicates that in
the tank there is still one liter fuel approximately.
Fill up as soon as possible.
Speedometer It indicates the driving speed.
Total kilometres odometer It indicates the total number of kilometres covered.
Mixer oil level warning light
It comes on with the ignition key in position "
ON
" and the start
push button "
" pressed, checking the proper functioning
of the bulb. If during the starting the lamp doesen’t turn on, it
must be replaced.
If the warning light comes on and does not go
out after the start push button "
" has been
released, or if it comes on during the normal
running of the engine, this means that the oil level is
insufficient; in this case, immediately provide for topping
up, see p. 22 (MIXER OIL TANK), in order to avoid
damaged the engine.

The ignition switch is on the right, near the steering
metal tube (1 - fig. 5).
The ignition key operates the ignition/steer-
ing switch, the glove-compartment lock and
the seat lock. Two keys are supplied together with
the scooter (one spare key).

FUNCTIONING
To block the steering, turn the handlebar completely to
the left with the key (1) on the "OFF" position, press
the key, release it and turn it to the "LOCK" position.
Extract the key.
Never turn the key to the "LOCK" position
while driving in order to avoid losing the
control of the scooter.

The seat padlock (1) is on the left side, under the seat.
To unlock the seat, insert the ignition key, turn it clock-
wise and then lift the seat up.
To lock the seat, do not use the ignition key; just lower
the seat and press until it blocks up.
Before moving off, check that the seat is perfectly
locked.
Before locking the seat control you have not
left the keys inside the tool case.

To reach the tool case just lift up the seat (see "Seat
locking/unlocking").
The keys are fixed in its lower part (Fig. 10).
The tool case contains a 21 mm tubular spanner (1)
and a screw driver mod.
PH size 2 fitted with a cross on one end and with a 4
mm hexagonal spanner on the other.

Thanks to this hook no more need to carry the crash
helmet with you every time you park your scooter.
To hang the crash helmet just lift up the seat (see "Seat
locking/unlocking"), take out the looped wire (1 - Fig.
11), pass it through the visor space or through the fitted
slot and fix the loop on the hook (2 - Fig. 11).
Now lower the seat and lock it.
To release the crash helmet from the hook, lift up the
seat, release the wire from the hook and lower the seat
taking care that the wire doesn’t get crushed and that
the seat itself is well locked before moving off.
Do not drive with your helmet fastened to the
hook as you could not be safe while driving.

It is on the right side of the scooter, just over the ex-
haust silencer (1).
To forestall the theft of the scooter we advise to fasten
it to something steady by means of a chain and a pad-
lock (or similar) which can be easily bought every-
where.
Do not use the hook to lift up or to draw the
scooter (or to other aims) as it is designed
only to secure the scooter once it is parked.

To open the glove-compartment insert the ignition key
in the lock (1) and turn it clockwise.
To lock it, insert the ignition key, turn it clockwise press-
ing it at the same time, and then turn the key anticlock-
wise to block it.
Extract the key and check if the compartment is per-
fectly closed.
Maximum load allowed: 1,5 kg.
Never exceeds the allowed weight because
the stability and the controllability of the
scooter can be severely impaired.
