IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
CAUTION:
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this equipment, the cord or plug to rain or
moisture; do not use it anywhere near water or where water splashes or drips; do not touch the plug with
wet hands.
In the event of water or other liquids entering the device, unplug it immediately and clean and dry it as best
as possible. Then have it checked for damage by a qualified technician or contact the after-sales support
line.
Electrical safety and cord handling:
• To prevent contact with high voltage components inside, do not attempt to open the equipment.
• Before installing this equipment, make sure your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the
appliance rating label.
• When connecting the equipment, align the plug properly and insert it fully to prevent electric shock.
• Only use this equipment with the cord and plug supplied, and do not overload the power outlet.
• If the power cord is damaged, do not use the equipment. The cord must be replaced by the manufacturer
or similarly qualified personnel to avoid a hazard. Contact the after-sales support line for advice.
• Do not repair the unit yourself. This product has no user-serviceable parts. Only have it serviced by
qualified personnel. Contact the after-sales support line for advice.
• Unplug the unit from the power outlet after use to avoid possible damage during electrical storms, or
when the equipment will be unattended or unused for an extended period.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch any hot surface. Do not allow
anything to rest on or roll over the power cord and run any cords so that no one steps on or trips over
them.
• Do not run the cord near heat-producing appliances such as radiators, stoves or irons. Excessive heat
could melt insulation and expose live wires.
• Always grasp the plug, not the cord, when disconnecting the unit. Pulling the cord can damage the
internal wires and may cause a fire.
Installation:
When installing the unit, make sure to place it:
• Away from heat sources, radiators or other products that produce heat.
• Away from areas with hot temperatures, high humidity or direct sunlight.

• Away from excess dirt and dust.
• Away from open windows and any place where water may get into the unit and damage it.
• Make sure there is free circulation of air around the unit. Do not place it on a thick carpet, a bed or any
place where ventilation holes are obstructed. Leave at least 10cm clearance around the unit.
• Make sure the mains socket is always readily accessible.
Usage conditions and restrictions:
• Do not place heavy objects on top of the equipment or step on it.
• Do not place objects filled with water (such as vases) or any naked flame sources (such as lit candles,
incense sticks or cigarettes) on top of the unit.
• The equipment is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the equipment by a person responsible for their safety.
• Young children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the equipment. Close supervision is
always necessary when an appliance is used by or near children.
• We assume no liability for any damage caused by noncompliance with these instructions or any other
improper use or mishandling of the equipment.
• Usage of controls, adjustments or performance of procedures other than those specified herein may
result in hazardous radiation exposure. Repairs may not be carried out by anyone except qualified service

Getting Started
Before First Use:
• The unit may become hot during operation. Always leave sufficient space around the unit for ventilation.
• The voltage supplied to the unit should match the voltage that is printed on the back panel. If you have
any doubts concerning this matter, consult an electrician.
• Avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight or close to any sources of heat. Also avoid locations subject to
vibrations and excessive dust, heat, cold or moisture.
• Do not expose the unit to water.
• Do not place the unit on an amplifier or receiver.
• Do not open the cabinet as this might result in damage to the circuits or an electric shock. If a foreign
object gets into the unit, contact your dealer or service company.
Important:
Since movement of the CD mechanism and the sensitive circuitry may cause interference to a nearby
radio tuner, switch this unit off while operating other radio devices.
Cleaning:
• Unplug the unit from the power outlet before cleaning.
• Do not clean the unit with chemical solvents as this may damage the finish. Use a clean, dry cloth.
• Do not submerge the unit or remote in water.
Discs:
• As a disc is rotated at high speed, it is dangerous to play a broken or deformed disc. Do not apply any
tape or glue to the disc as this could lead to damage of the unit. Should there be a strange noise or

vibration whilst playing, if the picture or sound skips, or if the picture is distorted, stop the player
immediately.
BATTERY INSTALLATION
The battery compartment is located on the back of the remote control.
1. Remove the battery compartment cover by pressing in on the tab and lifting it off.
2. Insert two (2) AAA size batteries (not included) into the battery compartment following the polarity
markings inside the battery compartment.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
Battery precautions:
Replacement of batteries must be done by an adult.
Do not mix old and new batteries.
Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable
(nickel-cadmium) batteries.
The supply terminals are not to be short circuited.
Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.

Connection
1. Connect the speaker wire from included speaker box to the speaker terminal (35) of the main unit.
2. Connect the power cord (37) to AC outlet, the unit will go into standby mode and Standby LED (5)
lights up.
3. Turn on the unit by On/Standby button (7). If the LCD display (2) is on with backlighting, it means the
power supply is normal. Now your system is ready to play the music.
Setting the clock
1. Set unit in standby mode by On/Standby button (7).
2. Press the “Mem/clk-adj” button (14), the first second digit of “00” is flashing. press or button
(12/27) to set the correct hour. Press” Mem/clk-adj” button (14) to store the correct hour.
3. The third & fourth digit of “00” is flashing, press the or button (12/27) to set the correct
minutes. Press “Mem/clk-adj” (14) to store the correct minute.
4. To select 12/24 hours, display mode, hold the CD stop button (8) to change mode repeatedly.
➢ The pre-set time will be re-set completely if the unit is switched off at the power point. It is
recommended to switch the system into standby mode for convenient usage.
Listening to the radio
Manual tuning
1. Set unit in standby mode by On/Standby button (7).
2. Press Tuner/band button repeatedly (24) to select tuner mode and desired band (FM-AM).
3. Tune to the required station by pressing the Tuning up/down button (12/27).
4. Adjust volume controls to the desired volume level.
Auto tuning
1. Press Tuner/Band button (24) and select tuner mode and desired band.
2. Press and hold the Tuning up/down button (12/27) for 1-2 seconds and then release
3. The unit will start seeking automatically and stop until a radio station is reached.
4. Repeat step 2 & 3 until the desired radio station is being reached.
5. Adjust volume controls to the desired volume level.
Preset stations
You can store up to total of 40 radio stations in the memory (FM-20/AM-20).
1. Set to radio mode
2. Turn to the desired radio station by “Manual” or “Auto” tuning method.
3. Press “Mem/clk-adj” button (14) to enable program state.
4. Press “Repeat/M-up” button (28) to select the desired station memory for storage.
5. Press “Mem/clk-adj” button (14) again to confirm the setting.
6. Repeat step 2 to 5 to store other stations.
7. Press “M-up” or “M-dn” button (28/13) to select the preset stations in order.
8. To return normal tuner mode, leave keys free.
➢ The pre-set memories will be cancelled completely if the unit is switched at the power point. It is
recommended to switch the system into standby mode for convenient usage.
➢ There are 10 seconds for program state, after 10 sec. this state would release to normal tuner mode
automatically.
➢ you can overwrite a present station by storing another frequency in its place.
FM & FM-stereo reception
⚫ Set the FM mode selector (6) at “MONO” position. Programs are received in mono mode. In particular
when stereo signals are weak. It is preferable to receive the program in mono.
⚫ Set the FM mode selector (6) at “ST” position for receiving stereo programs. The “ST” indicator will
appear on LCD to show FM stereo program is receiving.
- FM: The receiver has a build-in FM wire antenna hanging at the rear cabinet. This wire should be
totally unraveled and extended for best reception.
- AM: The receiver has a built-in AM bar antenna. If AM reception is weak, slightly rotate or
re-positioning of the unit will usually improve the am reception.

Phono
note:
- Remove the stylus protector.
- Be sure that the tone arm is detached from the tone arm rest before
operating and re-secured again afterwards.
1. Press Phono button (23)
2. Set the speed selector (32) to the proper position depending on the record to be
played.
3. Place the record on the platter (use the spindle adaptor (31) if required).
4. Lift the tone arm from the rest and slowly move it to the record side. The platter will
begin to rotate.
5. Place the tone arm to the desired position of the record.
6. Adjust the volume to the desired level.
7. At the end of record, the platter will automatically stop rotating. Lift the tone arm from the record and
return it to the rest.
8. To stop manually, lift the tone arm from the record and return it to the rest.
Remark: On some records, the auto-stop area was out of the unit setting, so it will stop before the last
track finishes. In this case, select the Auto-stop switch (33) to “ off “ position, then it will run to the end of
the record but will not stop automatically (turn off the unit by using the power button or switch back the
auto-stop switch (33) to “ on “ position to stop the platter rotating). Then put the tone arm back to the rest
position.
Playing compact disc
⚫ Getting started
1. Press CD button (10).
2. Press CD tray open/close button (26) to open the CD tray.
3. Place a CD with the printed side facing up inside the tray.
4. Press the Disc skip button (22) to turning the CD tray and loading out the other disc compartment.
5. Press the CD tray open/close button (26) to close the CD door.
6. CD search is performing, the display will show the total number of discs, number of tracks & playing
time of disc.
Note: CD searching will be performed every time when switching to CD mode or closing the CD door. All
CD functions will respond only after the CD searching is complete (around 5 seconds).
⚫ Play / pause mode
1. Press the “Play/Pause” button (21) to start playback, the first track of the first disc will be played and
the play indicator will appear on the LCD display (2).
2. Or press Disc skip button (22), to select the desire tray disc.
3. To interrupt, press the “Play/Pause” button (21) once, and the display will start flashing. Press again to
release & resume playback.
⚫ Stop mode
1. If Stop button (8) is pressed during play or pause mode, system will go to stop mode.
⚫ Skip mode (skip up / skip down )
1. During play or pause mode, if Skip up button (27) is pressed it will go to next track and display the
track no. and then remain the play or pause mode.
2. During play or pause mode, if Skip Down button (12) is pressed. It will go back to the beginning of the
track; original track no. is display and remain the play or pause mode.
3. After step 2, press skip down button (12) again will go to the previous track and remain the play or
pause mode.
⚫ Search mode (search up / search down )
1. During play mode, if search up button (27) is pressed & hold for few seconds, it will start searching
forward.
2. During play mode, if search down button (12) is pressed & hold for few seconds. It will star searching
backwards.

⚫ Repeat play
This function allows to repeat 1 single track, 1 single disc or all discs: -
Press the Repeat button (28) repeatedly to switch the function: -
REPEAT All DISC REPEAT 1 DISC REPEAT ONE
Note: Single track repeat function is possible in normal or programmed playback, repeat one disc or all
discs is only available in normal playback.
⚫ Random play
You can listen all the tacks of all available discs in a random order by this function
1. Press Random button (13) once, unit will play all disc randomly; press again, unit will play one disc
randomly.
2. Press “play/pause” button to start random playback.
3. All tracks of all discs or all tracks of one disc will start playing in random order.
4. Press “random” button again to cancel random mode.
CD programming
Up to 60 tacks can be programmed to be programmed to be played in any required order from one CD or
all CDs in the CD changer.
1. Set in CD mode.
2. Press the Mem/clk-adj. button (14)
3. Press the Disc skip button (22) to select the desired disc.
4. Press skip or button (12/27) to select the desired track.
5. Press the Mem/clk/adj. button (14) again to store the track in memory.
6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 to enter additional program
7. Press Play/Pause button (21) to start playback in order.
8. Press Stop button (8) to stop playback and press again to clear all programmed tracks.
Listening to a tape
General operation
Stop / Eject key Press to stop all deck operation. Press again to open the cassette door.
Fast forward key & Press to start rapid tape winding in either forward or reverse
Fast rewind key direction. Press stop / fast rewind key eject keys when the cassette spools stop
turning.
Play key Press to start playing tape.
Pause key Press to stop tape operation temporarily. Press again to resume play.
Record key Press together with play key to start tape recording.
(deck 1 only)
Playback
⚫ Press Tape button (25) to active tape function
⚫ Put in the cassette tape.
⚫ Press play key to active playback
⚫ Adjust the volume control to the desired level.
⚫ Use pause key when you want to stop playback temporarily.
⚫ Press stop / eject key when finished.
Recording
A. Recording from tape (deck 2 to deck 1)
This unit enables you to duplicate a pre-recorded tape to another tape. It is performed only one way from
deck 2 (playback) to deck 1 (recording).

Dubbing at normal speed
⚫ Press the Tape function button (25).
⚫ Inset a pre-recorded cassette into deck 2 and a blank cassette tape into deck 1.
⚫ Press the Pause key and then press the Record and Play key at deck 1.
⚫ Press the Play key to start playback at deck 2 & then press Pause key at deck 1 to start dubbing.
⚫ Press Pause key at deck 1 & Stop key at deck 2 when finish.
Dubbing at high speed
This unit is equipped with a high-speed dubbing system which can save the time for dubbing by 2/3 when
compare to normal speed.
⚫ Press the Dubbing speed button (6) to “HI “position and then follow the same procedures as
stipulated in “Dubbing at normal speed”.
⚫ When dubbing a pre-recorded cassette tape at high speed, a chattering sound is being heard. To
avoid this, set the volume control to a minimum level.
⚫ Do no active/de-active the HI-NOR. dubbing button (6) during dubbing, this will vary the speed of
recording and may be damage the cassette tape.
B. Recording from radio
⚫ Press Tuner button (24) to active radio mode
⚫ Tune to the desired station and insert a blank cassette tape in deck 1.
⚫ Press Record & Play key to start recording.
⚫ Press Pause keys and then “Stop/Eject” key when finish.
C. Recording from CD
⚫ Press the CD button (10).
⚫ Insert a blank cassette tape in deck 1 which suitable for recording.
⚫ Press Pause key first and then Record & Play key at cassette. Recording function is now on standby.
⚫ Activate the CD player, and then press Pause key at cassette to start recording.
⚫ To stop recording, press Stop button (8) on CD player first, then press the Pause key and then
Stop/Eject key on cassette tape deck.
D. Recording from turntable
⚫ press Phono button (23) to active turntable mode
⚫ Insert a blank cassette tape in deck 1.
⚫ press Record & Play key to start recording.
⚫ Select the desire record and start playback
⚫ Press Pause keys and then Stop/Eject key when finish.
More features
A. Sleep setting
1. Press & hold the Sleep/Timer button (11), to active & adjust the sleep timer in the order of 90 > 80
>70….10 minutes automatically.
2. System will stop and go to standby mode automatically after the selected timing.
3. To cancel the sleep mode, press and hold Sleep/Timer button until “SLEEP” indicator disappears.
B. Timer setting (On remote only)
This function allows the system to turn on automatically and wake you up by soft CD music, Phono, Tape
or radio. Set the unit at standby mode
Press the Mode button on remote handset, the LCD display will show the information as following order: -
1) Current time
2) On time setting: Press Mem/clock adj. key & then skip up/down to set the hour, then press Mem/clock
adj to confirm hour then skip up/down to set the minute. then press
Mem/clock adj to confirm
the alarm off time.
3) Off time setting: Press Mode button again to enter Timer off setting mode. Press Mem/clock adj. key &
then skip up/down to set the hour, then press Mem/clock adj to confirm hour then
skip up/down to set the minute. then press Mem/clock adj to confirm
the timer off time.

4) Mode: Press Mode button again to enter wake up mode. Press Mem/clock adj. key & then skip
up/down to select wake up mode then press Mem/clock adj to confirm the
wake-up mode.
➢ Press the Mode button repeatedly to review the presets time in order.
➢ The programming will automatically cancel if no button is being pressed in a period of about 10
seconds.
⚫ Active/de-active timer function
1. Press the Sleep/Timer button (11) once & the timer indicator is shown on LCD (1).
2. To cancel alarm function by press again Sleep/Timer button until the timer indicator “ ” disappear.
C. Presets EQ function
This unit provides 5 different sound modes to enhance your listening experience. you can select the
desired effect by pressing the EQ button (16) repeatedly at following sequence: -
FLAT JAZZ ROCK CLASSIC POP
D. Mute function
Press to terminate the sound output from system temporarily and press again to cancel this mode.
