1. Check that the kit includes all the parts listed in the first page.
2. Check each part in the kit for scratches or any form of damage.
3. Park the vehicle on a level ground.
4. Remove the ignition key from the switch and store it in a safe place.
5. Protect any items removed or to be installed from scratches by placing
them on a soft cloth first before putting them on the ground.
6. Use care not to cause any damage to the body of the vehicle during
installation of the accessory.

Installation
INSTALLING PROCEDURE
1. Remove the front frame cover
and the leg center cover L.
2. Remove the pin, the nuts and
the seat.
3. Remove the trunk lamp and in-
stall it to the new seat.
4. Remove the front leg shield
cover, the front leg shield, win-
dow screen and meter front
panel.

5. Remove the screw and the clips,
then remove the parking lever,
the handle upper cover, the
handle lower cover, the front
panel and the meter cover.
6. Open a hole 30 × 26 on the meter
cover.
NOTE: A paper pattern 30
×
26 is
given attached to this
manual. Use it for opening
holes.
Remove the burrs com-
pletely.
7. Install the switch.
8. Pass the subwire as shown in the
right figure.

9. Connect the lead wire and
subwire connector.
10. Joint the two subwires, then com-
bine them with the main harness.
12. Install the seat and mount the
connector of trunk lamp and seat
heater.
13. Set the main switch ON and de-
press the seat heater switch. And
be sure that the front seat be-
comes warm.

Connect the wire of one color to

CAUTION FOR HANDLING
Do not use continuously for a long time.
You will run the risk of getting low-temperature burn, if one part of
your body is constantly in touch for a long time, even though it is
relatively low temperature, without really knowing that you are, in
fact, hurt or burnt,
Do not try to remodel it. It may catch fire causing a big fire.
When any anomaly occurs, contact with SUZUKI Dealer and ask
for a detailed inspection.
Do not operate the switch during running.
Do not place any heavy material on it, nor stick it with a spike.
Do not use organic solvent like benzene, gasoline or alcohol when
the surface leather of the seat has to be cleaned.
When the engine stops, cut off the switch, also.. When the switch is
left ON, the battery may be flattened.
Cut off the switch when it is warmed up enough. This will prevent
consumption of the battery.
