A FEW WORDS ABOUT COMPACT SPEAKERS

The speakers are designed to accurately reproduce high fidelity music in a variety of applications, including home theater.

Suitable for outdoor use, these loudspeakers can also be fixed on colour matched brackets for mounting in almost any

environment.

SPEAKER PLACEMENT

The speakers are manufactured to resist a variety of weather conditions. However, they are not waterproof, so if you decide

to place your speakers outdoor, be sure that they are not exposed to the elements. The undersides of most eaves and

overhangs provide the best protection for indoor/outdoor loudspeakers.

Do not place the speakers within 1 meter from a TV or PC screen, as these speakers are not video shielded.

SPEAKER MOUNTING

If your application requires the speakers to be mounted, please follow these guidelines:

· Mount the bracket first. Attach the speakers to the bracket using the large plastic knobs supplied. Never mount a

speaker on a wall made of unreinforced drywall or plasterboark.

· If you are going to place speakers on a bookshelf, stand or equivalent, please use the provided self-adhesive foot

pads to protect and immobilize them.

PASSIVE LOUDSPEAKER

Passive Loudspeaker is designed for system flexibility. The loudspeaker rear panel include 2 Speakon connectors (Input and

Output) for maximum flexibility and system expansion.

Application

When connecting the speakers, it is very important to observe the

correct polarity.

This means that the wire attached to the (+), red, or positive

terminal on one component must be attached to the (+), red, or

positive terminal on the corresponding component's speaker output

terminals.

Similarly, the (-), black, negative,or ground terminals must be

connected to the respective (-), black, negative, onground

terminals. This is easy to do by locating the color, stripes, or ribbing

that appears on most wires.
