There are legendary rock & roll bands – and then
there are The Beatles. From Beatlemania’s early
onset to the fever-breaking counterculture of the
late 1960s, The Beatles have always been about
more than their music: their experimental films,
their ever-changing fashion, and even their hairstyles
were part of an aesthetic that would grow into a worldwide
cultural movement. The band that elevated pop music into an
art form and transformed a generation, continues to reign over
the world of music, their influence unmatched. To own a Beatles
record, poster or image is to own a piece of history.

The Band that
Changed the World
The cultural impact of The Beatles stretches far beyond their status as an
iconic rock band. Countless public figures spanning several generations
– Hollywood actors, world leaders, fashion designers, tech superstars –
continue to credit the Fab Four as their source of inspiration. The world’s
ongoing love affair with The Beatles has secured their standing as some
of the most influential and transformative people of our time.

The band’s ninth studio album, titled
simply The Beatles, quickly became
known as ‘The White Album’ because of
its plain white cover. Written mostly at
a transcendental meditation retreat in
India and recorded in London’s Abbey
Road studios, The Beatles has sold over
24 million copies since its release in 1968
– with Rolling Stone magazine naming it
the 10th greatest album of all time.
The buildable piece of iconic art you now
own is based on the four portraits featured
on the inside of the gatefold sleeve of
the original vinyl version of the album.
These portraits now feature on the cover
of The Beatles’ Super Deluxe Edition, a
seven-disc release for the White Album’s
50th anniversary in 2018.
