NOTE:Thespeakerincorporatesamagneticallyshieldeddesignthatcanbeusedinclose

proximitytomost monitors.However,

whenplacedwithin 6‐8inchesofsomeCRTmonitors,

thespeakermaycausecolordistortion.Tocorrecttheproblem,turnoffandunplugthe

monitorandrelocatethespeakerfartherawayfromthemonitor.Waitfor15minutesand

thenturnthemonitorbackon.Mostcomputermonitorshavea

degaussoptionintheir

setupmenu.Whenavailable,youcanusethedegaussingfunctiontorestorenormalcolor

display.



3. Under any mode (FM/Bluetooth/Aux In), when the Bluetooth is connected with your

phone, CE208BT serves as one‐touch‐answer speaker phone with high performance

microphone and echo cancellation software built in. When  you finish

the call, it will

resumethelastoperation.

4. CE208BTretainsthememoryandkeyofthelastconnectedphoneandreconnectstothe

lastphoneautomaticallyunderthefollowingcases:

• When powered on, this unit searches for 30 seconds to find the last phone it was

connectedto.If

itdoesnotfindthelastphone,itwill gointoa"Sleep"mode.

• When the CE208BT is connected to a phone and the phone goes out of range, the

CE208BTwillsearchforandattempttore‐pairwiththephonefor30seconds.

• Ifthe CE208BT

becomesdisconnecte d fromthe phone,press the“§” buttonto

initiateanautomaticconnectionwiththelastphone.IftheCE208BTcannotfindthe

phone,itwillgointoa"Sleep"mode.

The auto reconnection process can be cancelled by pressing and holding the “§”

button for 5 seconds

 to enter “Pairing” mode. The CE208BT will erase the last phone

memoryandkeyandwillbe“discoverable”byanewphone.Afterthe5‐minutePairing

period,theBluetoothconnectiongoesinto“Sleep”mode.

function:

• Enter“AutoConnection”mode,causingtheunittoautomaticallysearchfor

thelastconnectedphonefor30seconds.

c) Atanytimeduring Bluetoothmode,pressandholdthisbuttonfor5secondsto:

• Enter“Pairing”modefor5minutes,allowingtheunittopairtoa different

device.

General Setup

1. Insert4AAA‐sizebatteriesintothebatterycompartmentandre‐installthebatterycover;

or,plugpoweradaptorintojackmarked6VDCinandplugadaptorintoawalloutlet.



2. PressthePowerbutton.TheLEDindicatorwillblinkagreenlightfor5‐10seconds

duringthebootupprocess.TheLEDindicatorwillturnsolidgreenfordefaultFMRadio 

modewheninitializationiscomplete.EachpressoftheModebuttonswitchesto

anothersource:FM>Bluetooth

>AuxIn.

FM Radio Mode

1. PresstheModebuttonontheunittoselectFMmode(greenlighton).

2. Totunetoastation,presstheTUNE+/‐buttonsontheunit.Theunitwillautomatically

scanforstationsandtheLEDgreenlightwillflash.Thegreenflashinglightwillsto ponce



astationisreceived.

3. Toadjustthevolume,pressVOL+/‐buttonsontheunit.

4. WhenyourphonereceivesacallandisconnectedtotheCE208BT,pressthe“§”

buttontoanswerthecall.Whenthecallends,theunitwillresumeFMmode.

5. Topower

theunitoff,pressPowerbutton.

Bluetooth Mode

1. PresstheModebuttonontheunittoBluetoothmodewithbluelighton andPressand

holdfor5seconds“§”buttontoenterthe“Pairing”mode.

2. Activateyourdevice’sBluetoothsearchmode.Thedevicemaybeoneofthe

following:

(1)amobilephone,PDA,Notebookorotherdevicethatsupportsthestandard

BluetoothA2DPprofile;or(2)a PC,MP3player,iPodorotherdevicewithanexternal

Bluetoothadapter(BluetoothDongleorBluetoothTransmitter).

3. Afterpairingorsearchingsucceeds,youwillhearaconfirmationsoundfromtheunit

andthepairedBluetoothdevicewilldisplaysuccessfulconnectiontothe

"CE208BT‐XXXXXX"speaker,showingtheserialnumbers. 

4. WhenaskedtoenterapasswordduringBluetoothpairing,

enter"0000",thedefault

passwordfortheCE208BT.ThedevicenameisCE208BT‐XXXXXX.

5. Ifpairingorsearchingfails,turntheunitoffandthenonagainandrepeatSteps1‐4.

6. Topauseandplaymusic,pressthe“§”buttonontheunit.

7. Togo

totheNextorPrevioustrack,presstheorbuttonontheunit.

Note:YourBluetoothdevicemusthaveaBluetoothtransmitter,supportingAVRCPprofile

forthefeaturesinsteps6‐7tofunction.Notalldevicessupportthesefunctions.Please

4. WhenthemobilephonereceivesanincomingcallduringBluetoothconnectedstatus

andtheunitisplayingmusicfromyourAUXdevice,themusicwillstopautomatically.
