SETTING UP YOUR TRIPOD
1 To extend a leg, grasp top leg section and turn the leg lock counter
clockwise to release the lock. Pull the leg to the length you want, then turn
the leg lock clockwise to lock the leg in place.
Note: You can extend the leg to one of ve positions. As you rotate the leg
lock, you feel a click for each leg section. To extend the leg to full height,
hold the leg lock rmly and twist with moderate force until you feel four
clicks.
Caution: Incorrectly securing a leg lock can cause the tripod leg to retract
unexpectedly and could result in damage to the tripod or to the attached
camera or camcorder. When setting up the tripod, be sure and tighten the
leg lock at the end of each leg rmly by twisting clockwise.

DESCRIPTION
Locks the quick-release plate to the mounting base
plate.
Secure your camera or camcorder to the quick-release
mounting place with this screw.
Slide the quick-release mounting plate into this base
plate.
Adjusts and locks the mounting base plate in a
horizontal or vertical position.
Lets you adjust the leg angle.
The quick release plate is level when the bubble is in
the center.
Mount your camera to this removable plate.
Adjusts and locks the tilt angle of the mounting plate.
Locks the horizontal movement of the head.
Locks center column movement.
Provides quick height adjustment.
Grasp the height adjustment foam when adjusting the
leg height.
Provides quick leg adjustment.

2 To level your tripod on an uneven surface, grasp the height adjustment
foam, unlock the second leg section, then adjust the leg until your tripod is
level. Lock the leg section to secure the leg.
3 To adjust the height of the center column, loosen the center column
stopper knob, raise the center column to the height you want, then tighten
the stopper knob.
4 To set the angle position of the legs, slide the leg angle tab, lift the leg all
the way up, then lower the leg until the leg angle tab locks at the angle
you want (low, semi-low, or normal).
5 Lift the quick-release plate locking lever, then remove the quick-release
mounting plate.
6 Align the bottom of your camera or camcorder with the 1/4" mounting
screw, then secure your camera or camcorder to the plate with the screw.
The screw should be tight.
7 Slide the mounting plate onto the base plate, then press the locking lever
down to lock the mounting plate in place.
USING YOUR TRIPOD
• To adjust your camera to the portrait position, loosen the side-tilt locking
knob, rotate the plate up 90°, then tighten the knob.
• To pan, loosen the pan locking knob, pan the tripod head, then tighten the
knob to lock the head in place.
Note: For maximum stability, always make sure that your camera lens is
over a leg.
• To adjust the vertical tilt, loosen the tilt locking handle, then use the
handle to adjust the vertical position. Tighten the handle.
