CustomUserDefinedPrograms
TherearetwocustomizableUserprogramsthatallowyoutobuildandsaveyourownworkout.Thetwo
programs,User1andUser2,operateexactlythesamewaysothereisnoreasontodescribethemseparately.
Youcanbuildyourowncustomprogrambyfollowingtheinstructionsbeloworyoucansaveanyotherpreset
programyoucompleteasacustomprogram.Bothprogramsallowyoutofurtherpersonalizeitbyadding
yourname.
1. PresstheUser1orUser2key.TheMessageCenterwillshowawelcomemessage.Ifyouhadpreviously
savedaprogramthemessagewillcontainyourname.ThenpresstheEnterkeytobeginprogramming.
2. IfyouhavealreadysavedaprogramtoeitherU1orU2,itwillbedisplayed,andyouarereadytobegin.If
not,youwillhavetheoptionofinputtingausername.IntheMessageWindow,the letter“A”willbe
blinking.UsetheLevel+/‐buttonstoselecttheappropriatefirstletterofyourname(pressingtheup
buttonwillswitchtotheletter“B”;pressingtheDownbuttonwillswitchtospace).PressEnterwhenthe
desiredletterisdisplayed.Repeatthisprocessuntilallofthecharactersofyournamehavebeen
programmed(maximum7characters).WhenfinishedpressStop.
3. IfthereisaprogramalreadystoredinUserwhenyoupressthekey,youwillhaveanoptiontorunthe
programasitisordeletetheprogramandbuildanewone.Atthewelcomemessagescreen,when
pressingStartorEnteryouwillbeprompted:RunProgram?UsetheLevel+/‐arrowstoselectYesorNo.
IfyouselectNo,youwillthenbeaskedifyouwanttodeletethecurrentlysavedprogram.Itisnecessary
todeletethecurrentprogramifyouwanttobuildanewone.
4. TheMessageCenterwillaskyoutoenteryourAge.Youmayenteryourage,usingtheLevel+/‐keys,
thenpresstheEnterkeytoacceptthenewvalueandproceedontothenextscreen.
5. YouarenowaskedtoenteryourWeight.YoumayadjusttheweightvalueusingtheLevel+/‐‐keysor
thenumerickeypad,thenpressEntertocontinue.
6. NextisTime.YoumayadjustthetimeandpressEntertocontinue.
7. NowyouareaskedtoadjusttheMaxResistanceLeveloftheprogram,pressEnterwhenresistancehas
beenselected.
8. Nowthefirstcolumnwillbeblinking,andyouareaskedtoadjusttheresistancelevelforthefirst
segment(SEGMENT>1)oftheworkoutbyusingtheLevel+/‐key.Whenyoufinishadjustingthefirst
segment,orifyoudon’twanttochange,thenpressEntertocontinuetothenextsegment.
9. Thenextsegmentwillshowthesameworkloadresistancelevelasthepreviouslyadjustedsegment.
RepeatthesameprocessasthelastsegmentthenpressEnter.Continuethisprocessuntilalltwenty
segmentshavebeenset.
10. NowyouareaskedtoadjusttheMaxInclineLeveloftheprogram,pressEnterwheninclinehasbeen
selected.
11. Nowthefirstcolumnwillbeblinking,andyouareaskedtoadjusttheinclinelevelforthefirstsegment
(SEGMENT>1)ofthe
workoutbyusingtheLevel+/‐key.Whenyoufinishadjustingthefirstsegment,or
ifyoudon’twanttochange,thenpressEntertocontinuetothenextsegment.
12. Thenextsegmentwillshowthesameworkloadinclinelevelasthepreviouslyadjustedsegment.Repeat
thesameprocessas
thelastsegmentthenpressEnter.Continuethisprocessuntilalltwentysegments
havebeenset.
13. TheMessageCenterwillthentellyoutopressEntertosavetheprogram.Aftersavingtheprogramthe
MessageCentersays“PROGSAVED”thenwillgiveyoutheoptiontoStartormodifytheprogram.Pressing
Stopwillexittothestartupscreen.
