• Thetoyrequirestwo1.5Volt“AA”batteries(included).Thebatteriesincludedwiththisproductareforin-store

testdemonstrationpurposesonlyandmustbereplacedwithnewbatteriesaftertheproductispurchased.

OPERATING THE TOY:

• Turnonthetoybymovingtheslider(A,Pic.1)onthebottomofthetopfromthe0(OFF)positiontotheI(ON)

position.Startupwillbeconrmedbyasoundeffect.Fromthismoment,allthetop’selectronicfunctionswill

beenabled.

• Eachtimethechildpushesthetop’sknobdown(B,Pic.2)funmelodiesandlightingeffectsthatalternateaccord-

ingtherhythmofthemusic,willbeproduced.Ifthechildcontinuestopresstheknobdownduringthemelody,

soundeffectswillbeaddedtothemelody.

• Topreventunnecessarybatteryconsumption,switchoffthetoywhenitisnotinusebymovingtheslider(A)to

the0(OFF)position.

REMOVING AND INSERTING REPLACEABLE BATTERIES

WARNINGS

• Thebatteriesmustalwaysbereplacedbyanadult.

• Toreplacethebatteries:loosenthescrewonthecover(C,Pic.1)onthebackofthetoy;usingascrewdrivertake

offthecover,removethedischargedbatteriesfromthebatterycompartment,insertthenewbatteriesmaking

suretocheckthattheirpolarityiscorrect(asindicatedontheproduct),putthecoverbackinitsplaceandfully

tightenthescrewsdown.

• Donotleavebatteriesoranytoolswithinthereachofchildren.

• Alwaysremovedischargedbatteriesfromtheproducttoavoidanypossibleliquidleaksthatmaydamageit.

• Incaseofprolongednon-useoftheproduct,alwaysremovethebatteries.

• Usealkalinebatteriesthatarethesameorequivalenttothetyperecommendedfortheoperationofthisprod-

uct.

• Donotmixoldandnewbatteries.

• Ifthebatteriesareleakingliquid,replacethemimmediately,makingsuretocleanthebatterycompartment;

thoroughlywashyourhandsiftheyhavecomeintocontactwiththeliquid.

• Removethebatteriesfromthetoybeforedisposingofit.

• Donotthrowdischargedbatteriesinreordisposeofthemintheenvironment;theymustberecycled.

• Donotmixalkaline,standard(carbon-zinc)orrechargeable(nickel-cadmium)batteries.

• Donotshort-circuitthepowerterminals.

• Donotattempttorechargenon-rechargeablebatteries:theymayexplode.

• Theuseofrechargeablebatteriesisnotrecommendedastheymayreducethetoy’soperability.

• Ifrechargeablebatteriesareused,removethemfromthetoybeforerechargingandrechargethemonlyunder

adultsupervision.
