Eurotech CPU-163-15 is a CPU board based on the 7th Generation Intel® Core™ i3/i5/i7 processor, offering uncompromised computing performance with up to 32GB of non-ECC DDR4 memory support and advanced graphics capabilities with Intel® Gen9 HD Graphics. With two Gigabit Ethernet ports, six USB 3.0/2.0 ports, and a mini PCIe slot, the CPU-163-15 can easily connect to a wide variety of peripherals and storage devices. Additionally, the board features two SATA 3.0 ports for high-speed storage and expansion options, and an optional TPM 2.0 module for enhanced security.

1.3 How to prevent electrostatic discharge
NOTICE
HOW TO PREVENT DAMAGING ELECTROSTATIC-SENSITIVE DEVICES
The symbol on the left is applied on electrostatic-sensitive devices.
To prevent damaging electrostatic-sensitive devices:
Handle the electrostatic-sensitive devices in an ESD Protected Area (EPA)
Observe the appropriate antistatic precautions. For example: use a wrist
strap kept in constant contact with bare skin and attached to ground.
1.4 How to prevent electrical hazards
Before supplying power to the product, observe all the instructions for safety, installation, and
operation.
DANGER
Failure to supply power correctly and failure to follow all safety instructions, may create an
electric shock hazard, which could result in personal injury or loss of life, and may damage
the product or other property.
To prevent electrical hazards:
Before using the product, carefully read the supplied instructions
Never operate with wet hands
Check any power cords for damage before using them
Use certified power cables. The power cables must meet the power requirements of the
device
Position cables with care. Avoid positioning cables in places where they may be trampled
or compressed by objects placed on them
Verify that power-points and plugs are not damaged. Avoid overloads
Always disconnect power and discharge the circuits before touching them
Use a power supply that meets the requirements stated on the identification label of the
product. In case of uncertainties about the required power supply, contact the Eurotech
Technical Support Team (for more information see "How to receive Technical
Assistance" on page 9).

2 HOW TO RECEIVE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
2.1 How to ask for technical support
To ask for technical support, complete the following steps:
1. Go to the Eurotech Global Support Center: https://support.eurotech.com/
2. Submit a support request
3. Wait for the reply from your Support Team with the information you required.
2.2 How to send a product for repair
To send a product for repair, complete the following steps:
1. Go to the Eurotech Global Support Center: https://support.eurotech.com/
2. Submit an RMA request
3. Wait for the reply from the Eurotech RMA Department. It will contain:
o The RMA number
o The shipping information
4. Pack the product adequately using anti-static material and place it in a sturdy box with enough
packing material to protect it from shocks and vibrations
5. Ship the product to Eurotech following the information received from the RMA
Department.
NOTICE
Any product returned to Eurotech that is found to be damaged due to inappropriate packaging
will not be covered by the warranty.

3 DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY
3.1 CE Marking
The product described in this document is CE marked.
Eurotech is not responsible for the use of this product together with equipment (for
example: power supplies, personal computers, etc.) that are not CE marked and not
compliant with the requirements specified in this document.
3.2 WEEE compliance
In compliance with the Directive 2012/19/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council
of 4 July 2012 on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), the symbol on the
right, shown on the product or within its literature, indicates separate collection for electrical
and electronic equipment (EEE) that has been placed on the market after 2005.
The product described in this document, at the end of its life cycle, must be collected
separately and managed in accordance with the provisions of the current Directive on
waste of electrical and electronic equipment.
Because of the substances present in the product, improper disposal can cause damage to
human health and to the environment.
To avoid any possible legal implications, contact your local waste collection body for full
collect and recycling information.

6.4 Jumper Settings
6.4.1 USB Power Select
JP3 (for USB 0-1) and JP2 (for USB 2-5) are used to select the power of USB ports.
Selecting +5V_standby will allow you to use a USB keyboard to wake up the system.
Important:
If you are using the Wake-On-USB Keyboard/Mouse function for 2 USB ports, the +5V_standby
power source of your power supply must support ≥1.5A. For 3 or more USB ports, the
+5V_standby power source of your power supply must support ≥2A.

6.4.3 Clear CMOS Data
If you encounter the following situations:
a) CMOS data becomes corrupted.
b) You forgot the supervisor or user password.
you can reconfigure the system with the default values stored in the ROM BIOS.
To load the default values stored in the ROM BIOS, follow the steps below:
1. Power-off the system and unplug the power cord.
2. Set JP6 pins 2 and 3 to On. Wait for a few seconds and set JP6 back to its default setting, pins 1
and 2 On.
3. Now plug the power cord and power-on the system.
