WIRELESS HEATER CONTROL UNIT
INSTALLATION GUIDE
This is Alarko by Cosa Wireless Heater
Control Unit.
Follow the steps in this guide to install.

INSTALLING
THE CABLES
To connect the heater connection or power
cable to the Alarko by Cosa Heater Unit, you
must remove the orange cover. Once the 220V
power cable is installed to Alarko by Cosa Heater
Unit, the power led on the front cover must
turn on.
HEATER INSTALLATION
To control your heater, you must connect your Cosa
to the heater’s on/o-type room thermostat
connection.
If you already have an on/o-type room thermostat
connected to your heater, you can remove this cable
extending from your heater to your thermostat and
connect it to the Alarko by Cosa Heater Unit.
If you don’t have a thermostat connected to your
heater, continue to the next step for installation
instructions.
To connect the Alarko by Cosa to your heater, you
must rst ensure that both electricity and gas are
turned o. Consult your heater’s user manual or
authorized technical service to install the room
thermostat connection cable to your heater.
A. If wireless internet is available where your heater is located, you can connect
the Wireless Heater Control Unit to the internet and use the Alarko by Cosa Smart
Thermostat with batteries, as well.
B. If wireless internet isn’t available where your heater is located,
you must power the Alarko by Cosa Smart Thermostat with
the adapter.
I will use the Alarko by Cosa Smart Thermostat with my Wireless Heater Control Unit.

PLACEMENT
WARNING:
THE 220V POWER CABLE MUST BE REMOVED WHEN INSTALLING THE CONNECTION CABLES REQUIRED
FOR HEATER CONTROL.
HEATER INSTALLATION
Once the cable is installed to the
heater, connect the other end to
terminals 1 and 2 located on Alarko
by Cosa’s orange cover and place the
device back onto the cover.
To test the connection between the
Alarko by Cosa Heater Unit and the
heater, press the button on top of the
Wireless Heater Control Unit and hold
down for 2 seconds to turn the heater
on or o. Observe whether the heater
turns on or o to ensure that the device
is properly connected.
To pair Alarko by Cosa devices, you
must rst set them to pairing mode.
To set your Wireless Heater Control Unit
to pairing mode, press the right button
behind the orange back cover and make
sure that the led behind the pair icon is
slowly blinking. To set your Alarko by
Cosa Smart Thermostat to pairing mode,
you must rst access the Settings menu
on the device and use the top button to
select the pair icon. Once pairing is
successful, the Led behind the pair icon
on the Wireless Heater Control Unit
light will remain xed.
PAIRINGHEATER CONNECTION
TEST
To manually turn the boiler on or o, you must press
the top button.
To reset device to factory settings and recongure internet
settings, you must press the back left button.
To set the device to pairing mode, you must press the
back right button.
