Getting started
With this product, you can connect two devices with one of the following connections: Windows
to Windows, Windows to Mac, Windows to Android, or Mac to Mac.

a) Connecting two devices
Connect the USB-A plug of the supplied link cable to the USB-A port on your rst computer
(e.g. Windows PC, Mac, or Android tablet), and the USB-C
TM
plug of the supplied link cable
to the USB-C

port on another device (e.g. Windows PC, Mac, or Android tablet). When
connecting to a device, the corresponding LED (USB-A LED or USB-C
TM
LED) on the link
cable ashes blue.
For the rst time connecting the link cable to your two devices, the installation of the driver
Mac KM Link” automatically initializes and follow on-screen instructions to complete
installation. For Windows, if the “AutoPlay” window pops up, select “Run SKLoader.exe” to
continue installation; if the “User Account Control” window pops up, select “Yes” to continue
installation
When the driver is successfully installed on both devices (or the two devices are connected),
The “Mac KM Link” icon ( ) is displayed in the bottom right corner of each computer
screen.
For Windows PC, if the “Mac KM Linkdriver is not automatically installed on the
computer, go to “My Computer”, then locate and double click the “MacKMLink” icon
to start and complete the installation.
For Mac, if the “Mac KM Link driver is not automatically installed on the
computer, double click the MacKMLink” CD-ROM icon on the desktop to open
the CD-ROM, then double click the “MacKMLinkicon to start and complete the
installation.
Operation
After your two devices are successfully connected, you can operate the following features.
a) Sharing keyboard and mouse
Only the Windows PC’s keyboard and mouse can be shared to control the other connected
device. Thus, this feature is applicable to the following connections: Windows to Windows,
Windows to Mac, or Windows to Android. This feature is not applicable for Mac to Mac
connection.
On your Windows PC, you can change settings for keyboard and mouse control switching.
To change the settings, right click the “Mac KM Link” icon ( ) in the bottom right corner of
the computer screen, and select the “Preferences” option from the pop-up menu to access
the preferences setup. The section of the keyboard and mouse settings is illustrated below.
The following settings can be made on the Windows PC only.
- “Turn Off”: Disable the keyboard and mouse control switching.
- “Use Mouse Middle Button”: Click the middle button of the mouse to switch keyboard and
mouse control from one computer to another.
- “Use Mouse Move Off The Edge of Screen”: Move the mouse cursor to the left/right/
up/down edge of the computer screen to switch keyboard and mouse control from one
computer to another.
- “Click Specied Screen Hot Area”: This setting is only available only when connecting to
a touch screen device (e.g. Android tablet). Set a “hot area” on the computer screen, then
click the “hot area” to switch keyboard and mouse control from one computer to another. To
specify a “hot area”, click “View and Specify Hot Area”, then drag the pop-up orange frame
to a position on the screen as a specied “hot area”.
- “Hotkey Toggle”: Press both [Alt+S] buttons on the keyboard to switch keyboard and
mouse control from one computer to another.
After the settings mentioned above are congured, you can now move the Windows PC’s
mouse cursor across to the other computer screen through one of the methods mentioned
above (e.g. by moving the mouse cursor to the edge of the left/right/up/down side of the
computer screen), then use the Windows PC’s keyboard to input or edit text on the other
computer.

Intended use
The product is designed as a data transfer cable to connect two devices (e.g. Windows PC,
Mac, or Android device) through which you can share keyboard and mouse, share clipboards,
and transfer les between two devices.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in
bathrooms, must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use
the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged.
In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, re, electric shock etc.
Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only
together with its operating instructions.

are connected to the product.
When setting up the product, make sure that the cables are not pinched, kinked

b) Sharing clipboard data
Only the Windows PC can copy clipboard data to transfer les between the two connected
devices. This feature is applicable to the following connections: Windows to Windows, or
Windows to Mac. This feature is not applicable for Windows PC to Android, and Mac to Mac
connection.
On your Windows PC, you can change settings for keyboard and mouse control switching.
To change the settings, right click the “Mac KM Link” icon ( ) in the bottom right corner of
the computer screen, and select the “Preferences” option from the pop-up menu to access
the preferences setup. The clipboard sharing options is illustrated below.
The following settings can be made on the Windows PC only.
- “Turn Off”: Disable clipboard data sharing.
- “Auto Share”: Enable clipboard data sharing between two computers.
If you enable “Auto Share” on the Windows PC, as an example, you can copy text/les/
folders on the rst computer, and move the Windows PC’s mouse cursor across to the
second computer screen (see “the “Sharing keyboard and mouse” section on how to switch
mouse control), then locate the mouse cursor in a desired place to paste the clipboard data.
You can also drag and drop les/folders between two computers to transfer les if the
“Use Mouse Move Off The Edge of Screen” feature is enabled for mouse control switching
(see “the “Sharing keyboard and mouse” section).
c) Using Go! Bridge
The “Go! Bridge” application is included in the “Mac KM Linkprogram. With “Go! Bridge”,
you can transfer les and folders between two computers. The “Go! Bridge” feature is applicable
for Windows to Windows, Windows to Mac, and Mac to Mac.
Make sure your two computers are successfully connected (see “Connecting two devices”).
Launch the “Go! Bridge” application on the two connected computers respectively. Right click
the “Mac KM Link” icon ( ) in the bottom right corner of the computer screen, then select
“Go! Bridge” from the pop-up menu to launch.
After “Go! Bridge” is launched, a browser window appears on the two computer screen
respectively. The browser window on the rst computer screen displays les and folders
on the second computer, or vice versa. The browser windows for Windows PC and Mac are
illustrated respectively below.

With the browser window appearing on the rst computer, you can manage the les and
folders on the second computer as described below.
- For Windows, click the “eye” icon in the upper left corner of the browser window to access
the navigation pane to display les and folders in the le list; for Mac, the navigation pane
is displayed in the left panel of the browser window.
- Click the left/right arrow icons in the upper left corner of the browser window to view the
previous le list or next le list.
- Click the “+’ icon to create a folder in the le list.
- Right click on the le or folder on the le list to pop up the options, e.g. open/rename/copy/
delete les or folders.
- Double click the device icon located in the upper left corner of the browser window to
minimize the browser window to the device icon.
You may use the following methods to transfer les between two computers.
- Copy les from the local computer then paste to the le list in the browser window, and the
other way around.
- Simply drag les from the local computer to the le list in the browser window, and the
other way around.
- Drag les in the le list to the “Dock” area as a temporary le storage, then drag les in the
“Dock” area to the local computer. To display the “Dock” area, for Windows, click the
icon in the top right corner of the browser window to access the “Open dock” option; for
Mac, click the icon in the top right corner of the browser window.
- Minimize the browser window to the device icon (by double clicking the device icon), then
drag les from the local computer onto the device icon. In this case, les are transferred to
the desktop of the second computer.
Care and cleaning
Before cleaning, disconnect the product from the connected devices.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as
they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
Clean the product with a dry, ber-free cloth.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to
the relevant statutory regulations.
