Whendriving,donotusethemodem:
Whenswitchedon,themodememitselectromagneticwavesthatcaninterfere
withthevehicleselectronicsystemssuchasABSantilockbrakesorairbags.To
ensurethatthereisnoproblem,pleasedonotplacethemodemontopofthe
dashboardorwithinanairbagdeploymentarea.

ConditionsofUse
1. Switchthemodemoffbeforeboardinganaircraft.
2. Switch the modem off when you are in health car e facilities, ex cept in
designated areas. As with many other types of equipment now in regular use,
mobileTelemodemscaninterferewithotherelectricalorelectronicdevices,or
equipmentusingradiofrequencies.
3. Switchthemodemoffwhenyouareneargasorflammableliquids.Strictlyobey
all signs and instructionsposted in a fuel depot, petrol station, chemicalplant,
orinanypotentiallyexplosiveatmosphere.
4. When the modem is switched on, it should be kept at least 15 cm from any
medicaldevicesuchasapacemak er,ahearingaidorinsulinpump,etc.
5. Do not let children use the modem without supervision. The modem may
containsmallpartsthatcouldbecomedetachedandcreateachokinghazard.
6. Whenreplacingthecover,pleasenotethatthemodemmaycontainsubstances
thatcouldcreateanallergicreaction.
7. Alwayshandlethemodemwithcareandkeepitinacleananddustfreeplace.
8. Do not allow the modem to be exposed to adverse weather or environmental
conditions(moisture,humidity,rain,infiltrationofliquids,dust,seaair,etc).The

InstallationproceduresmayvarybasedontheoperatingsysteminstalledonyourPC.
ThefollowinginstructionsarebasedontheWindowsXPOS:

Turnonyour PC and plug the modem intotheUSB interface slot to begin software
installation. Windows should automatically detect the new device and will prompt
youtobegininstallation.
Afterfollowingthepromptsofinstallationsetup,uponcompletion,ashortcutwillbe
placedonyourdesktopforquickfutureaccess.
Note:
1. If installation “autorun” does not begin, you will need to locate the
autoRun.exe)” file in the driverpath, and DoubleClick onAutoRun.exetorun

1. To install the modem connect applicationon MAC OS X. Please doubleclick the
