LOCATINGTHEPRINTER
Beforeyoustartunpackingandsettingupyourprinter,makesumthatyou
haveasuitableplaceonwhichtolocateit.By“asuitableplace”,wemean:

Awayfmmexcessiveheat(suchasdirectsunlight,heatem,etc)
Awayfromexcessivehumidity
Awayfromexcessivedust
Supplyitwith“clean”electricity.Donotconnectittothesamecircuitas
alarge,noise-producingappliancesuchas a refrigerator.
Make sure the line voltage is the voltage specifiedon the printer’s
identificationplate.
To disconnecttheprinter,theplughastobedisconnectedfromthe wall
socket,whichhastobelocatedcloseto theprinter,andeasyto access.
InstaUthepMterwherethereissufficientmomforthepaperandanypaper
beingfed in orprintedout.
Ifyouareconnectingyourprinterwithaparallelinterface,makesurethat
thecableiswithin2m(6ft)oftheprinter.AnRS-232connectionusingthe
optionalIS-8XLinterfacecartridgecanbemadeoverlongerdistances.
