CAUTION concerning the Power Cord
The Power Plug is the disconnecting device. In case
of an emergency, the Power Plug must remain readily
accessible.
Check the specication page of this owner’s manual
to be certain of the current requirements.
Do not overload wall outlets. Overloaded wall outlets,
loose or damaged wall outlets, extension cords, frayed
power cords, or damaged or cracked wire insulation
are dangerous. Any of these conditions could result
in electric shock or re. Periodically examine the
cord of your device, and if its appearance indicates
damage or deterioration, unplug it, discontinue use of
the device, and have the cord replaced with an exact
replacement part by an authorized service center.
Protect the power cord from physical or mechanical
abuse, such as being twisted, kinked, pinched, closed
in a door, or walked upon. Pay particular attention to
plugs, wall outlets, and the point where the cord exits
the device.
This device is equipped with a portable battery or
accumulator.
How to Safely remove the batteries or the battery
pack from the equipment:
To Remove the old batteries or battery pack, follow
the assembly steps in reverse order. To prevent
contamination of the environment and bring on
possible threat to human and/or animal health, the
old batteries or the battery pack must be put in an
appropriate container at designated collection points.
Do not dispose of batteries or battery pack together
with other waste. It is recommended that you use
local, free reimbursement systems batteries or
battery packs, (may not be available in your area). The
batteries or the battery pack should not be exposed
to excessive heat such as sunshine, re or the like.
CAUTION: No naked ame sources, such as lighted
candles, should be placed on the apparatus.

y Sampling frequency: within 32 to 48 kHz (MP3),
within 32 to 48 kHz (WMA)
y Bit rate: within 32 to 320 kbps (MP3),
40 to 192 kbps (WMA)
y Maximum les: 2,000
y Maximum folders: 200
y File extensions: “.mp3”/ “.wma”
y Certain MP3/WMA les may not be played
depending on the type or format of the le.
Compatible USB Devices
y MP3 Player : Flash type MP3 player.
y USB Flash Drive :
Devices that support USB2.0 or USB1.1.
y The USB function of this unit does not support all
USB devices.
USB device requirement
y Devices which require additional program
installation when you have connected it to a
computer, are not supported.
y Do not extract the USB device while in operation.
y For a large capacity USB, it may take longer than a
few minute to be searched.
y To prevent data loss, back up all data.
y If you use a USB extension cable or USB hub, the
USB device is not recognized.
y Using NTFS le system is not supported.
(Only FAT (16/ 32) le system is supported.)
y This unit recognizes up to 2,000 les.
y External HDD, Card readers, Locked devices, or
hard type USB devices are not supported.
y USB port of the unit cannot be connected to PC.
The unit cannot be used as a storage device.
y Some USB may not work with this unit.

USB 1 Port
You can play sound les by connecting the USB device.
DJ SCRATCH / SEARCH & MULTI knob (1)
- Turns clockwise or counterclockwise to make scratch
sound.
- Searches a le or folder.
- Selects lighting mode.
- Chooses a preset number.
C / V (Skip/Search)
- Skips backward or forward.
- Searches for a section within a le.
- Selects the radio stations.
N (Play / Pause)
- Starts or pauses playback.
- Selects stereo/mono.
OK / INFO
- Selects a folder when searching a le.
- Press and hold the OK/INFO button to see
information about your music. An MP3 le often
come with ID3 tag. The tag gives the Title, Artist,
Album or Time information.
- Press and hold the OK/INFO button to see Bluetooth
device name of the unit in BLUETOOTH READY.
- Press and hold the OK/INFO button to see the name
of connected all Bluetooth device in Bluetooth mode.
SEARCH
Searches to the next/prevoius le or next/prevoius
folder by pressing SEARCH repeatedly. (USB 1 only)
DJ LOOP
Selects DJ LOOP mode (USB 1 only).
(DJ LOOP mode can use during USB playback.)

Press to store /search / delete radio stations.
(Chooses a preset number of a radio station with
DJ SCRATCH / SEARCH & MULTI knob.)

Press to select a headphone monitor mode.

When using MIX, you can synchronize the tempo of
audio les being played in USB 1 and USB 2 by pressing
AUTO SYNC.

Carrying the unit
The unit has strap so you can easily move the unit.
1. Fit a strap in the hook of the unit.
2. Adjust the strap length.

Be careful it does not drop the unit when you
carry it.
y
Carry the unit, after then disconnect the
connected cables.
y
Do not place the unit in an unstable position.
Place the unit at a safe distance from a child’s
reach.
y
Be careful so that the unit does not fall
down. Otherwise it may result in malfunction
and cause personal injury and/or property
damage.

Power Connection
Connect this unit to the power supply with the
supplied AC power cord.
1. Connect the supplied AC power cord to this unit.
2. Plug the AC power cord into an AC outlet.
3. Turn ON/OFF Switch on (ON).

If the battery level is very low, this unit does
not turn on even if you turn ON/OFF switch
on (ON).
y
When the battery level is low, this unit
displays LOW BATTERY PLEASE CHARGE
frequently. And if the battery level becomes
even lower, this unit turns off automatically.
y
Previous setting may not be saved when you
turn ON/OFF switch off (OFF).
y
Previous setting may not be saved when the
unit’s power is shut off due to low battery.

Charging Battery
This unit has a built-in battery.
- By connecting AC power, battery will start
charging.
- If Battery charging indicator is in red, this means
that battery is charging now.
- The red LED goes off if the battery is fully charged.
- If the battery is low, ‘LOW BATTERY PLEASE
CHARGE’ is blinking 3 times per minute on a
display window and red LED is blinking continually.
- Charge battery for about 14 hours before you
start using this unit for the rst time.
y
Operating time is approx. 10 hours.
(Based on fully charging the battery,
continuous playback using 50 % volume level
and lighting off status, EQ: Standard).
It may vary depending on the battery status
and operational conditions.
y
If you are listening to the music while
charging, it will take longer to charge.
y
Charge the battery fully during the
recommended time after discharge.

The unit can be used to play music from many types
of portable player or external device.
1. Connect the portable player to the PORT. IN
connector of the unit.

Selecting a folder and
an MP3/WMA file
1. Press SEARCH and rotate
DJ SCRATCH / SEARCH & MULTI
until a desired file
appears. You can also search a folder if you press
SEARCH again.
2. Press OK / INFO or

to play the selected file.
When you search a folder, press OK / INFO to
select a file in the folder, then press OK / INFO or
N
again. The selected file is played.

If there is no le in a folder, the folder will not

Playback Effect
The unit supports various sound and playback effects
: DJ EFFECT, SCRATCH, DJ PRO, DJ LOOP, TEMPO, MIX,
AUTO SYNC.
DJ EFFECT
It allows you to enjoy DJ EFFECT such as Flanger/
Phaser/Wah/Delay sound effect.
1. Press DJ EFFECT on the unit to select a desired
DJ EFFECT (FLANGER, PHASER, WAH, DELAY,
OFF).
2. Turn DJ EFFECT LEVEL controller on the unit
clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust the
DJ EFFECT level between 0 to 15.
y
The DJ EFFECT mode is displayed for 3
seconds when a DJ EFFECT key on the unit is
inputted.
y
The current gage level is displayed when
adjusting gage.
y
If the function changed or the unit is turned
off and on, DJ EFFECT mode with DJ EFFECT
is turned off.

Note
SCRATCH
You can output and mix the sound effects of the
SCRATCH.
Rotating
DJ SCRATCH / SEARCH & MULTI
on the unit
to mix the scratch sound.
- You can hear effect of scratch sound depending
on the direction in which you rotate
DJ SCRATCH / SEARCH & MULTI
on the unit.
DJ PRO
It allows you to mix CLUB, DRUM or USER sound
effect. Each mode has up to 8 sounds effect.
1. Press and hold DJ PRO (/ CLUB, / DRUM or
/ USER) on the unit to select a desired DJ PRO
sound effect.
2. Press DJ PRO pad (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) of
desired sound on the unit.
y
If you want to use USER, you have to register
a source with “Music Flow Bluetooth” app.
If the source is not register to USER,
“EMPTY” or “NO SOUND” appears on the
display window.
y
Initial DJ Pro mode is CLUB sound effect.
y
DJ Pro mode is displayed for 3 seconds when
you press DJ PRO ( / CLUB, / DRUM or
/ USER) on the unit.
y
The DJ PRO sound is mixed when you press
DJ PRO pad (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) on the
unit.
y
The currently playing DJ PRO sound is
stopped and the selected DJ PRO sound
outputs if you press a different DJ PRO pad
(1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) on the unit while
DJ PRO sound is playing.

DJ LOOP
The certain section (about 1 sec) of sound is
repeatedly played. (USB Only)
During playback, press and hold DJ LOOP on the unit
at the point you want. And you can cancel DJ LOOP
function by releasing it.
This function is released after operating 10
times or releasing DJ LOOP on the unit.

Note
TEMPO
You can adjust the Tempo for USB function 1 or 2
from 50 (MIN) to 150 (MAX).
Rotate TEMPO A to adjust the tempo for USB 1.
Rotate TEMPO B to adjust the tempo for USB 2.
The tempo is set as 100 if you turn the unit off.

MIX
You can mix audio sounds.
1. Press MIX. ‘MIXER ON’ is displayed.
Select a desired Function for SIDE A/1 and play it.
Mix is available in all functions except USB 2.
2. During playback, insert a USB device in
USB 2 port and play it. SIDE B/2 is fixed as USB 2
function.
3. Move the CROSS FADER to adjust the sound
volume of mixed sound. Move it to the left to
lower the volume of SIDE B/2 and move it to the
right to lower the volume of SIDE A/1.

In MIXER ON mode,
- You can adjust the Tempo for USB function 1 or
2.
- If you press

If you turn off the unit in the middle of mixing
process, MIX mode turns to OFF.

AUTO SYNC
When using Mixing, you can synchronize the tempo
of audio les being played in USB 1 and USB 2 by
pressing AUTO SYNC.
To stop it, press AUTO SYNC twice.
y
The tempo of music being played in USB 1 is
synchronized to that in USB 2.
y
TEMPO A doesn’t work when AUTO SYNC is
on.
y
If function is changed, AUTO SYNC function is
cancelled.
y
In case of below, AUTO SYNC error may occur
depending on the sound source.
- The silent section in the beginning of the track.
- Intro or bridge section in which few musical
instruments appear.
- In cases where playback speed or tempo of the
song changes.
- In case that the data for BPM is provided in real
time, not the beginning of the song.
y
If the song is being played too fast or slow,
press and hold AUTO SYNC.
AUTO SYNC/RE-ANALYZING’ is displayed.
y
AUTO SYNC is available only when USB 1 is
selected for SIDE A/1 and USB 2 is selected
for SIDE B/2 in MIXER ON mode and both are
being played.
