• Only use quick-charge NiCd/NiMH batteries.

• An additional safety timer shuts off the charger if the maximum charging time is exceeded.

• A precise, process-controlled –∆V shutoff for each charging slot ensures that each battery is charged to its

optimal level. It also prevents the batteries from overcharging.

• 1,2,3 or 4 batteries can be charged either individually or together. Different sizes (AA/AAA) and types (NiCd/

NiMH) can be combined. The charging current is adjusted accordingly.

Charging:

Insert the batteries in the correct direction.

Each of the 4 charging compartments is monitored separately. The charging status of the battery before charging

is not important. Once the batteries are inserted, charging begins automatically. After charging is ﬁ nished, the

charger automatically switches each compartment separately to trickle charge. Batteries can stay in the charger

and remain ready for use.

Indicator:

When more than one battery is in the charger, the LED does not indicate that charging is

complete until the last battery is fully charged.

Red: Charging

Green: Charged, trickle charge

Flashing red: One or more batteries are defect.

Remove all batteries. Insert them individually and wait up to 10 seconds.

If the LED ﬂ ashes: the battery is defect - dispose of it. Repeat test with next

battery.
