THIS INSTALLATION MUST BE PERFORMED BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL FAMILIAR WITH STANDARD
SAFETY PRACTICES
WARNING: FALLING EQUIPMENT can cause serious injury and equipment damage.
Use equipment of adequate capacity to lift the unit.
If using lift forks to handle this unit, be sure the lift forks are long enough to extend out of the opposite
side of the base.
Do not place any part of the body under the unit while it is suspended.
IMPORTANT: No. 25 Running Gear is not compatible with a CR-4B cylinder rack (041 968).
IMPORTANT: All directions, such as left or right, are with respect to the operator facing the welding generator front
panel. Refer to Figure 1 when performing this installation.
1. Slide handle (1) onto foot (15), and be sure holes are aligned. Secure with supplied hardware.
2. Install foot (15) to left-hand (4) and right-hand (13) mounting frames, and be sure holes are aligned. Secure with
top and bottom supplied hardware (18) . This ensures a stable frame onto which the welding generator can be
placed.
3. Insert axle (11) into left-hand (4) and right-hand (13) mounting frames.
IMPORTANT: The running gear wheels require periodic greasing.
4. Install wheels (7) and flat washers (6) onto axle (11), and secure wheels with retaining ring (12).
5. Block wheels (7) so running gear cannot roll.
IMPORTANT: When mounting welding generator onto running gear, be sure the front panel is facing the handle (1).
6. Place welding generator onto running gear, and be sure holes are aligned. Secure with supplied hardware (17, 2,
and 3 at front, 5, 2, and 3 at rear).
7. Remove blocks from wheels.
