Intended use

This shoulder heating pad is intended for applying

heat to the human body. It can be used to apply

heat to the shoulders. This heating pad is not inten-

ded for medical purposes. It is not suitable for use

in hospitals or for any other commercial use. In par-

ticular, it should not be used for babies or infants,

persons who are insensitive to heat, helpless per-

sons, or animals. Any use not described above, or

modiﬁcations of the heating pad are not permissi-

ble and may lead to injury and / or damage to the

heating pad. The manufacturer assumes no liability

for damage due to improper use.

This heating pad is intended for

use on top of the body. Do not sit

or lie on top of the heating pad.

Never place pad between your-

self and a chair, sofa, bed or pil-

low.

Loop cord loosely when storing.

Tight wrapping may damage

cord and internal parts.

Safety system

Note: The heating pad is equipped with a safety

system. The electronic sensor technology prevents the

entire surface of the heating pad from overheating

by automatically switching oﬀ in the event of a fault.

If the safety system switches the heating pad oﬀ au-

tomatically due to a fault, then the function display

2 on the control unit 1 is no longer illuminated,

even if the heating pad is switched on.

Please note that, for safety reasons, the heating

pad should not be used after a fault and must

be returned to the service address indicated.

Never connect the defective heating pad to

another switch of the same type. This would

also result in a permanent shutdown by the

safety system in the switch.

Initial use

Note: The heating pad may smell of plastic the

ﬁrst time you use it, but this will disappear after a

short period of time.

To begin, ﬁrst connect the control 1 to the

heating pad with the plug-in connector 4.

Make sure the plug-in connector 4 and con-

trol connector are properly engaged.

Place the heating pad in position as shown.

Plug control 1 into 120 V AC, 60 Hz electrical

outlet. The control 1 operates with a single

On / temperature / Oﬀ - push button 2. This

push button allows user to scroll through all

heat settings. A LED function display 3 indi-

cates the selected heat level.

ON/LOW: Press button once to turn unit on.

The ﬁrst LED will light up to indicate

LOW heat setting.

WARM: Press button twice and two LEDs

will light up to indicate WARM heat

setting.

MEDIUM: Press button three times and three

LEDs will light up to indicate ME-

DIUM heat setting.

HIGH: Press button four times and all four

LEDs will light up to indicate the

HIGH heat setting.

OFF / RESET: Once all LEDs are lit up the unit can

be turned oﬀ by pressing the button

once again.

(Pressing button again will turn the unit on and the

selection process shown above will restart.)

Automatic shut-oﬀ

Your heating pad is equipped with a special safety

feature designed to shut the heating pad oﬀ after

120 minutes of use. When the automatic shut-oﬀ

feature turns the pad oﬀ, all LED indicators on the

function display 3 turn oﬀ to let you know the pad

has shut oﬀ. To restart the pad, press the push but-

ton to restart the heat selection process. Be sure to

unplug the unit after use.

duct you purchased may diﬀer slightly from the one

shown and described above.

DANGER TO LIFE BY ELECTRIC

SHOCK! Always remove the plug

from the socket and the plug-in con-

nector 4 with the control 1 from the heating

pad before cleaning the heating pad. Other-

wise there is a risk of electric shock.

Use a dry, lint-free cloth for control unit 1

cleaning and care.

RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE

PRODUCT OR PROPERTY! Ne-

ver immerse the control 1 in water

or other liquids. It may otherwise be damaged.

If the heating pad is slightly soiled, use a dam-

pen cloth and some mild detergent, if necessary.

RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE

PRODUCT OR PROPERTY! Do

not use chemical cleaning or scou-

ring agents to clean the heating pad and con-

trol 1. The heating pad and control unit 1

may otherwise be damaged.

Disconnect power cord. DO NOT pull by the

cord.

Disengage pad/controller connectors.

Machine wash pad in warm water on gentle

cycle; tumble dry on medium heat. Remove

promptly from the dryer. Or, hand wash in

warm water and line dry.

DO NOT plug in pad until it is dry.

Reshape the still damp heating pad to the

original size immediately after washing, and

dry ﬂat, spread on a clothes drying rack.

not hang the heating pad up to dry

with pegs or similar items. The heating pad

may otherwise be damaged.

DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!

Do not reconnect the control 1 to

the heating pad until the plug-in con-

nector 4 and the heating pad are completely

dry. Otherwise there is a risk of electric shock.

Never switch the heating pad on to

help it dry. Otherwise there is a risk of electric

shock.

Storage

RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE

PRODUCT OR PROPERTY! Let

the heating pad cool before putting

it away. The heating pad may otherwise be

damaged.

RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE

PRODUCT OR PROPERTY! To

prevent the heating pad from beco-

ming sharply creased, do not store other objects

on top of the heating pad. The heating pad

may otherwise be damaged.

If you do not intend to use the heating pad for

any length of time, store it in the original packa-

ging in a dry environment and without weighing

it down.

Disconnect the plug-in connection 3 and the

control unit 1 from the heating pad to do so.

Disposal

Dispose of the packaging through your local recy-

cling facilities and in compliance with all federal,

state and local regulations.

Please note the package markings

regarding waste separation, indicated

by abbreviations (a) and numbers (b),

meaning: 1–7: plastics / 20–22: paper

and cardboard / 80–98: composite

materials.

Contact your local waste management

authority for additional information on

how to dispose of the used product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of

the product properly when it has reached the end

of its useful life, do not throw in the garbage. Infor-

mation on collection sites and their opening hours

is available from your local authority.

Three year limited warranty

What does this warranty cover?

The warranty covers:

· Damage, breakage or inoperability due to defect.

· Damage not caused by normal wear and tear or

failure to follow the safety and maintenance in-

structions provided in the user manual.

What is not covered by the warranty?

The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

· Normal wear and tear of the product, including

fragile parts (such as switches, glass, etc.);

· Improper use or transport;

· Disregarding safety and maintenance instructions;

· Accidents or acts of nature (e.g. lightning, ﬁre,

water, etc.);

· Tampering with the product (such as removing

cover, unscrewing screws etc.).

Consequential and incidental damages are also

not covered under this warranty. However, some

states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of in-

cidental or consequential damages, so this limitation

or exclusion may not apply to you.

The warranty is for 3 years from the date of purchase.

At our discretion, product will either be refunded or

replaced.
