Cooking food
♦ If you have not already done so, prepare the appliance as
described in the section "Preparations". Please also observe
the notes in the section "Tips".
♦ If necessary, remove the glass lid from the stoneware pot
and add the ingredients to be cooked including the liquid.
♦ Place the glass lid back on the pot.
♦ Set the dial to the desired position (see the section "Adjusting
the cooking settings"). The control indicator light lights up
and the appliance starts to heat up.
♦ Allow the ingredients to cook for the recommended time (see
section "Cooking times"). Check the cooking progress of the
ingredients regularly.
►The stoneware pot stores enough heat to keep the cooked
ingredients warm for about 30 minutes. If the food is to be
kept warm for an extended period of time, set the dial to
"" for as long as necessary.
♦ When the ingredients are cooked and no longer need to be
kept warm, set the dial to " " and unplug the power cord.
♦ You can now carefully pour the food into a container/dish or
serve it directly from the stoneware pot . Please note that the
stoneware pot may be very hot! Use oven mitts to remove it
and place it on a heat-resistant surface.
