This product is intended for the use in routine household cleaning.
Do not use the product for any other purpose.
Do not leave the product unattended while in use. Always unplug the product from the electrical
outlet when not in use.
Keep the product out of the reach of children and pets. This product is not intended for use by
children. Close adult supervision is necessary when this product is used near children.
Exercise extreme care when using this product on stairs.
Keep your face, eyes, hair, fingers, loose clothing, and all body parts away from the Extension
Hose end, attachment brushes, and air openings.
Do not insert body parts into the air intake openings of this product or its attachments.
Never point the product in the direction of people or pets, as serious injury may result.
Do not use this product on wet surfaces or near water or other liquids, as an electrocution hazard
may result. Do not use this product to clean or pick up water or other liquids.
Do not place or drop the product into water or other liquids, If the product falls into water,
immediately unplug it from the electrical outlet. Do not touch or reach into the water.
Do not use this product to pick up flammable liquids (i.e.,gasoline or kerosene)or use
in
areas
where flammable liquids may be present or stored.
Do not use this product to pick up any burning, smoking, or smoldering objects (i.e.,cigarettes,
matches, or hot ashes).
Do not use this product to pick up metallic debris or large, solid objects (i.e.,rocks or pebbles),as
product damage may result.
Do not use attachments not recommended or sold by the product manufacturer as a risk of fire,
electrical shock, or serious personal injury may result.
Always ensure the product is in the "OFFn(0) position and unplugged from the electrical outlet
before connecting or disconnecting attachments (i.e.,the Extension Hose). Never connect or
disconnect the attachments while the product is operating.
Never block the air openings of the product or place it on
a
soft surface (for example, a bed or a
couch) where the air openings may be blocked, as the motor may overheat and product damage
may result. Wipe the air openings clean if they become clogged.
Never drop or insert objects into any opening of the product.
Do not use the product without the Container Filter Cup
in
place.
Do not operate this product with a voltage converter.
Using an improper voltage with this product may cause damage to the motor, other product
damage, or serious personal injury. Use the correct voltage with this product as listed on the
rating label.
Plug the product into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
Do not plug or unplug the product from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.
Always wear the appropriate shoes and clothing while operating this product.
Do not use this product while standing in water or on wet surfaces.
Disconnect the plug (do not pull on the Power Cord) from the electrical outlet.
Do not put any stress on the Power Cord where it connects to the product as the Power Cord could
fray and break, causing a potential electrical shock hazard.
Keep the Power Cord and product away from heated surfaces.
Do not allow the Power Cord to hang over the edge of a table or counter where it may be tripped
over or pulled.
If an extension cord is used with this product, a 15-ampere extension cord should be used.
Extension cords rated for less amperage may overheat. The marked electrical rating of the cord
set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the product.
Never operate this product if it has a damaged Power Cord or plug, malfunctions or is not
working properly, leaks, has been dropped, or damaged. This product has no user-serviceable
parts. Do not attempt to examine or repair this product yourself. Only qualified service personnel
should perform any servicing. Return the product to a service center for examination and repair.
To avoid a circuit overload when using this product, do not operate another high-wattage product
on the same electrical circuit.
This product is intended for indoor, non-commercial, household use only. Do not use outdoors.
Do not use cord as a handle, close door on cord or pull around sharp edges or corners
CAUTION:
This product is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other blade) as a safety feature to reduce the risk of electrical shock. This plug will fit into a polarized
outlet only one way. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug into the electrical outlet,
try
reversing the plug. If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use the plug
with
an
extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted into the extension cord. Do not alter the
plug. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.

Always unplug the product from the electrical outlet before assembling,
WARNINGe
opening or emptying the Container, or connecting/disconnecting the attachments.
1.
Press the Container Release Button to open the vacuum cleaner.
2.
Insert a clean and
dry
Container Filter Cup into the Container.
Ensure the rubber gasket is securely fitted around the Container Filter Cup.
3.
Ensure the foam sheath covers the motor air opening and is latched to both plastic hooks.
4.
Verify the internal rubber Suction Intake flap is secured to the Container frame.
5.
Reattach the Container to the motor housing and verify it has locked into position.
6.
Verify the
Air
Outlet Cap (with foam sheath attached inside) is securely in place.
If loose, screw the
Air
Outlet Cap knob clockwise until securely tightened.
7.
Connect the attachment (s), if desired.
a. Insert the attachment end into the Suction Intake opening until it is securely fitted.
b. To use the Extension Hose
with
the attachments:
1.
Insert the Extension Hose end into the Suction Intake opening until it is securely fitted.
2.
Connect either the Crevice Brush or Upholstery Brush to the other end of the
Extension Hose until it is securely fitted.
WARNING:
Never point the product in the direction of people or pets, as serious
injury may result. Do not use the product on wet surfaces, to pick up flammable liquids, burning,
smoking, or smoldering objects, metallic debris or large objects.
CAUTION
:
Keep the Suction Intake opening fiee from obstruction at all times;
otherwise, the motor will overheat and product damage may result.
1.
Firmly grasp the Handle.
2.
Push the Power Switch to the "ON" (1) position.
3.
Direct the Suction Intake opening toward the dirt or debris to be picked up.
4.
To
turn
off the vacuum cleaner, push the Power Switch to the "OFF" (0) position.
5.
Unplug the vacuum cleaner from the electrical outlet when it is not in use or it is left unattended.
6.
Store the vacuum cleaner in a cool,
dry
place. Securely wrap and store the power cord to avoid a
potential tripping hazard.
Cleaninp the Container Filter
Cup
WARNING:
Always unplug the product from the electrical outlet before opening
the Container.
1.
Press the Container Release Button to open the vacuum cleaner.
2.
Pull out the Container Filter Cup.
3.
Empty the dust1 dirt from the Container and Container Filter Cup.
4.
Rinse the Container Filter Cup with cold water.
5.
Allow the Container Filter Cup to thoroughly air
dry.
6.
Reinsert the Container Filter Cup inside of the Container.
7.
Follow the "Assembling the Vacuum Cleaner" section to reassemble the vacuum cleaner.
Cleaning the Foam Sheath Filters (inside of the Container and Air Outlet Cap)
CAUTION
:
DO
not plug or unplug the product intoiffrom the electrical Outlet with

Lightly shake the foam sheath to remove any dust or debris.
If desired, wash the foam sheath in soapy water; then rinse and
dry
thoroughly.
CAUTION
:
Do not reattach the foam sheath(s) if it is wet, as a potential shock
hazard exists.
Reattach the foam sheath ensuring it covers the motor air opening and is securely in place.
For the fkont sheath (Container): Ensure the foam sheath is latched to both plastic hooks.
For the rear sheath (Air Outlet Cap): Ensure the foam sheath is aligned and inserted over
the plastic bolt; then reattach the Air Outlet Cap and secure
it
with the plastic end nut.
