Silk Care For Bedding Sheets and Robes

Use mild detergent and make sure the detergent is completely dissolved in cold water with

temperature no more than 86°F/30°C. Do not place detergent directly on to the item and

never leave item to soak. Always wash dark colors separately and do not bleach.

Hand Wash

Lay the rinsed item on a towel and roll item up to remove excess water. Lay flat to dry in the

shade away from direct sunlight.

Machine Wash

Silk has a very high thread count and as a result is susceptible to pulling when washed in a

washing machine. Protect items by placing it inside a mesh fabric bag before placing it in a

washing machine. Use "Delicate" or "Hand Wash" cycle with the shortest spin cycle. Lay flat

to dry in the shade away from direct sunlight.

Ironing

If ironing is required use low heat on the reverse of the fabric making sure your iron is on a

low silk setting.

Dry-cleaning is usually the best option.

Silk Care for Silk Filled Pillow and Comforter

Silk is a luxury fiber and you should always protect the silk filled comforter and/or pillow(s)

with a removable washable cover. If properly covered, the silk filled comforter and/or pillow(s)

should almost never require cleaning. If necessary spot clean the shell of silk filled comforter

and/or pillow(s). Once a year hang the silk filled comforter and/or pillow(s) outdoors in a

shaded area to air out for a couple of hours. Avoid direct sun light. Do not dry clean or

machine wash the silk filled comforter and/or pillow(s).

Blanket and Throw

Dry clean only.
