This kit is designed to adjust the fresh food door apper on RM1350 refrigerators. In some cases the apper may not be

closing fully when the door is closed. See FIG. 1. If this occurs there may not be an adequate seal around the door(s) caus-

ing performance issues. When positioned correctly the apper will be parallel to the door. If the apper does not operate

smoothly or binds up, install one shim below top hinge to adjust apper as described below. Perform the dollar bill test to

check for proper seal. Make sure that the door gasket is fully seated all around the door(s). If apper still binds or does not

operate smoothly, install second shim at same location.
