What is a graded product?
A graded appliance is an item with small imperfections.
These are sometimes referred to as refurbished appliances.
This means that somewhere on the item scratches or blemishes may be visible and the boxes may be
tatty or non original.
The majority of the products we sell at Kettle and Toaster Man are graded products and may have
imperfections.
We do also sell new items with no imperfections. These appliances will have new in the title or
description
What is return to base warranty?
A return to base warranty means that after a certain period of time if the item is faulty, it is the
responsibility of the customer to return the item back to supplier.
The majority of our items come with a 6 month return to base warranty unless stated otherwise. For the
first 30 days, if the item is faulty a full refund will be issued. If the item is unwanted but the item has
been sold correctly then a refund minus the postage will be issued and it is the responsibility of the
buyer to return the item.
After the first 30 days the item will be repaired or replaced.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to return items after the initial 30 days.
Warranty
For all of our graded products excluding large appliances will carry a 6 month return to base warranty,
large appliances will carry a 3 month return to base warranty. For the first 30 days, if the item is faulty a
replacement item or full refund will be issued upon the return of the faulty item. In most cases a pre-
paid returns label will be sent via email, however any item that is deemed to be too small for standard
courier will need to be posted back via a Royal Mail 2nd class service and we will reimburse up to £3 for
the postage cost.
If the item is unwanted but has been sold correctly then a refund minus the postage will be issued. It is
the responsibility of the buyer to return the item in the original packaging in an unused and re-sellable
condition. Any signs of use or damage will affect the total refund amount.
After the first 30 days any faulty items will be repaired or replaced if unrepairable, under the 6 month
return to base warranty. It is the responsibility of the buyer to return the item at their own cost within
this period.
All items listed as New will also carry a 6 month Return To base warranty as these items are likely end of
line items or clearances for more information please contact us.
Please note large appliances will not be collected or delivered by Kettle and Toaster Man under any
circumstances and buyer assumes all responsibility.
