Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device.
Do not unplug by pulling on cord.
If your fan loses power and you suspect that the fuse on your fan
has blown, you should first remove the spare fuse holder attached
to the cord plug (Fig. 1). Remove the spare fuse from the plastic
spare fuse holder, and set the spare fuse aside (Fig. 2).
You can gain access to the blown fuse by sliding open the door
found on the side of the plug. Slide the door outward until the
blown fuse is fully visible (Fig. 3).
Carefully remove the blown fuse and snap the replacement fuse
into place. Risk of fire. Replace fuse only with 2.5 Amp, 125 volt
fuse (provided with product). Fully close the fuse door by sliding
back into place. Discard the blown fuse. The plug should now be
ready for normal use.

Once a Febreze

fresh Febreze
®
scent is released
into the Scent Path and travels to
the interior region of the fan.
At this point, the fresh Febreze
®
scent combines with the air being
drawn into the fan by the fan motor.
The fan then pushes a stream of
Febreze
®
scented air out through
the front fan grilles to cool and
freshen your entire room.
The Scent Control Dial allows you to
control the level of scent output.
To operate the fan without scent,
simply remove the Febreze

PLEASE NOTE:
The speed at which you run your Honeywell with Febreze Freshness Cool & Refresh Fan
does affect the length of time your Set&Refresh
®
scent cartridge will last.
An installed and activated Set&Refresh
®
scent cartridge will empty faster if you run your
fan at HIGH speed instead of LOW speed.
If you regularly run your fan at LOW speed while a Set&Refresh
®
scent cartridge is
installed and activated, the Set&Refresh
®
scent cartridge will last longer.
To operate the fan without any scent, simply remove the scent cartridge from the fan.

Should I remove the foil from the back of the Set&Refresh
®
scent cartridge?
No, do not remove the foil from the cartridge. Simply remove the cartridge from its packaging
and place it into the slot in the Scent Cartridge Compartment on the top of the unit. By inserting
the cartridge properly in the fan, the scent cartridge foil will automatically be pierced to release
the Febreze
®
scent.
How do I insert the scent cartridge?
Hold the scent cartridge so that the curved side is facing upward.
Align the cartridge with the slot inside the Scent Cartridge
Compartment on top of the unit. Slide the cartridge into the slot
until it feels secure.
Why isn’t my fan producing scent anymore?
It may be due to an empty Set&Refresh
®
scent cartridge. Check the cartridge in the unit; if it is
empty and no longer releasing any scent, it is time to replace the cartridge.
Where can I get additional Febreze
®
Set&Refresh
®
scent cartridges?
You can purchase Febreze
®
Set&Refresh
®
scent cartridges wherever Set&Refresh
®
products are
sold. Click on the ‘Buy Now’ link on www.Febreze.com to locate a retailer near you.
My Honeywell with Febreze Freshness™ Cool & Refresh Fan came with an Advanced
Odor Eliminator Set&Refresh
®
scent cartridge. Is Advanced Odor Eliminator the only
Set&Refresh
®
scent cartridge that I can use in my fan?
No - you can use any of the variety of scents available in the Febreze
®
Set&Refresh
®
scent cartridge assortment. See www.Febreze.com for more information on which scents are
available.
How long will a Set&Refresh
®
scent cartridge last in my fan?
A single Set&Refresh
®
scent cartridge may last between 2-4 weeks depending on a variety of
factors, including: · Fan speed used while the scent cartridge is inserted
· Room Size
· Amount of air flow in the room where the fan is operating
NOTE: Operating the fan at higher speeds while a Set&Refresh
®
scent cartridge is installed will
cause the scent cartridge to empty faster. Similarly, operating the fan at lower speeds while a
Set&Refresh
®
scent cartridge is inserted will enable the scent cartridge to last for a longer period
of time.
Can my fan be operated without a Set&Refresh
®
scent cartridge?
Yes, your fan is fully operational as a fan only, without the scent cartridge.
