IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Basic safety precautions should always be followed when using electrical products,
especially when children are present.
WARNING: TO AVOID THE RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK, ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE
PRODUCT IS UNPLUGGED FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET BEFORE ASSEMBLING,
DISASSEMBLING, RELOCATING, SERVICING, OR CLEANING.
When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following:
1. Read all instructions before use.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs and oven mitts.
3. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug, or any non-
removable parts of this oven in water or other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting
on or taking off parts.
6. Do not use outdoors.
7. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
8. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other
hot liquid.
9. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electrical burner, or in a heated oven.
10. Turn all controls to "OFF" before inserting or removing plug from wall outlet.
11. Do not place any flammable materials in the oven: paper, cardboard, plastic,
etc.
12. To disconnect, grasp plug and remove from outlet. Do not pull by the cord.
13. Do not use oven for other than intended use.
14. Oversized foods or utensils must not be inserted in this appliance, as they may
create a fire or risk of electric shock.
15. A fire may occur if this appliance is covered by or touches flammable material
including curtains, draperies, walls, etc. when in operation. Do not store any item
on top of the appliance.
16. Do not store any material, other than manufacturer's recommended accessories, in
this oven when not in use.
17. Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad and touch
electrical parts resulting in a risk of electric shock.
18. Extreme caution should be used when using containers constructed of other than
metal or oven safe glass.
19. Do not cover crumb tray or any parts of the oven with metal foil. This will cause
overheating of the oven.
If this product is mounted under a cabinet:
20. To reduce the risk of fire, do not place any heating or cooking appliance beneath the
appliance.
- To reduce the risk of fire, do not mount unit over or near any portion of a heating or
cooking appliance.
- To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not mount over a sink.
21. Do not operate the appliance if the power cord or plug is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent before use.
22. Some countertop and table surfaces, such as Corian®, wood and/or laminates, are not
designed to withstand prolonged heat generated by certain appliances. It is
recommended by countertop manufacturers that a hot pad or trivet be placed under
your appliance to prevent possible damage to the surface.
