Dear customer, you can find solutions in the following failure analysis if you
encounter problems during using.
Fault/Display:Incorrect output voltage
Cause:
1. The battery power of RMS Multimeter is low.
2.Multimeter is subject to slight deviations in testing the output power of inverter.
The low eletric power and small capacity of the battery are one of the reasons which
cause the current in low situation when the inverter is operating.
Solution:
1. Use a true RMS multimeter to measure, such as the model FLUKE 177/179.
2.Try to maintain the input voltage in the range of rated power.
3.Change the battery of the multimeter then test again.
Fault/Display:No output voltage
Cause:
1. The switch of the inverter is off.
2. There is an error in connection of positive pole and negative pole between inverter
and car battery
3.car battery is near ran out of power, inverter will not work.
4.Our inverter is a modified sine wave type, it cant power Resistive load device. So
when the inverter was connected to the Inductive load device, it will stopped
working due to overload situation.
Solution:
1.Tum on the power switch.
2. Check the cables and make sure they are tightly connected.
3.Fully charge the car battery.
Fault/Display:Cannot drive the load
Cause:
1. Load power is too large, or the actual power of the appliance exceeds nominal
power.
2.Turn on the inverter switch before car starts , it will lead to damage. Because when
the car starts, the instantaneous power is too large.
3.The inverter was incorrectly connected with the car cigarette lighter to power the
devices which is over 150W-200W.
4.Our inverter is a modified sine wave type, it cant power Resistive load device
(such as motor). So when the inverter was connected to the Inductive load device, it
will stopped working due to overload situation.
Solution:Reduce a load power, or turn on the appliance first, then turn on the
inverter.
Fault/Display:While using with TV or audio, there is snowflake on the screen or
noise from the audio.
Cause:Disturbance
Solution:1. Keep the inverter far from antenna. 2. Use screened antenna.
Fault/Display:Starting alarm ?
Cause:The main reason is that the instantaneous current is too large, which leads to
the detection of load voltage and triggles voltage alarm.
Solution:Please restart the inverter and make sure the output power of the device.
Fault/Display:After the power is turned on, the green light becomes dim, the red
light is on and the fan stops running as soon as a device is connected.
Cause:
1.The total load is too high, which starts the overload protection.
2.The output may be short-circuited, which starts the over current protection;
3.The load may be an inductive load. Equipments such as refrigerator may not be
suitable to be used on the inverter.
4.The device may has been damaged or broken
Solution:
1.Reduce the total load.
2.Check whether the load is short circuited.
3.Have a look at the user manual to check whether the load is within the applicable
scope.
QUICK KNOWLEDGE ABOUT INVERTER
Ensure your battery size is big enough and Voltage is correct.
CONNECTING THE INVERTER FOR FIRST USE.
1) Secure the provided Negative(black) DC cable connect to the Negative(-)bolt on
the inverter, and the other end to the Negative (-)post on the battery.
2) Secure the provided Positive(Red) DC cable to the Positive(+)bolt on the inverter,
and the other end to the Positive (+)post on the battery.
3) The nuts of the connection posts must be tightened to ensure well connected.
4) Press the power switch for one second, because it is a long press type switch.
WARNING: REVERSE CONNECTED THE CABLES WILL DAMAGE THE INVERTER AND
AVOID YOUR WARRANTY!
5) Before plugging anything into your inverter, make sure the appliance you are trying
to power is shut OFF, then plug it into the AC outlet of your inverter and power on
your appliance.
6) Once finished using the inverter, turn off your electrical appliance and the inverter.
The indicator lights should be off.
Warning and safety
1) Read the manual before connecting this inverter and keep it for future reference.
2) Don't put the inverter under sunlight, near a heating source, wet or humid
environment.
3) Avoid unintentional starting. Be sure the switch is in the OFF position when not in
use and before plugging in any appliance.
4) Keep inverter away from children. Don't install the inverter where it is accessible
to children.
5) The power inverter will output the same AC power as utility power, please treat
the AC outlets as carefully as you would your home AC outlets. Do not put anything
other than an electrical appliance into the output terminal.
6)Disconnect the battery and inverter when not in use. Note: Performance of this
unit may vary depending on the available battery power or appliance wattage.
NOTE: About inductive load devices and resistive loads: imoli inverter is modified
sine wave inverter, not pure sine wave. So it just can power the resistive load devices,
such as mobile phone, computer, TV, video player, digital camera, game console,
energy saving lamp, radio, printer, monitor, GPS satellite navigation,razor,water
dispenser etc.
Inductive load device indicated that electronic appliances devices design with a
motor, they belongs to inductive load device. Inductive load device include
motor,compressor,relay,fluorescent lamp,air conditioner,electric welder, refrigerator,
microwave ovens,coffee maker etc.
Some electrical appliances such as refrigerator, air conditioning and some power
tools, the instantaneous power is much higher than nominal power when they
start.(Usually about 3-7 times). This type of inductive load appliances have higher
requirements on the current output waveform, they should be power by pure sine
wave inverter to protect the device and inverter.

Check the rate power before use: We suggest buyer please check the rated power of
the electric appliances device and inverter before using to avoid the overload
situation. Make sure that the total rated power of the connected devices is less than
the continuous working power of the inverter. If the power of devices beyond the
continuous working power of the inverter , the inverter over-load protection feature
will start to cut off the power supply for safety. At the same time, check battery level.
