READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE INSTALLING “The-DeckMATE.
NOTE: Failure to read instructions before assembly and use could result in injury or death.
Failure to assemble as per instructions will void warranty.
Instructions for Installation and Use:

5- #8 x ½” phillipshead screws
IMPORTANT!
STEP 1-
Unpack The-DeckMATE” and contents and make sure
all components are accounted for. We highly recommend
assembling and installing The -DeckMate completely
on your rail WITHOUT THE TEMPERED GLASS
SHEET FIRST to familiarize yourself with the
installation process without the hindrance of the heavy
tempered glass sheet.

Attach loop end of rail strap assemblies to “The-
DeckMATE frame. Pay careful attention that the strap is
fully engaged over the security tooth. SEE FIGURE 2
Assemble the 2 piece telescoping support arm by inserting smaller bottom section with snap button into the
larger top section with adjustment holes. SEE FIGURE 3 (BELOW)
Depress snap button while simultaneously sliding the smaller bottom section into the larger top section until
desired adjustment is reached. Be sure the snap button clicks into place. SEE FIGURE 3A (BELOW)
Attach telescoping arm assembly to frame using 1 detent pin before placing frame assembly onto rail. SEE
FIGURES 3B AND 3C (BELOW)

Attach The-DeckMATE frame to the railing by wrapping the strap assembly under the railing
and coming up and over the railing from the other side. SEE FIGURE 4 (NEXT PAGE)
Then secure with detent pin. SEE FIGURE 4A (NEXT PAGE)

Attach telescoping support arm to The-DeckMATE” frame and secure with detent pin. SEE FIGURE 5

Solidly engage the telescoping arm to the outside edge of deck or balcony or to the lower crossbar if attaching
to inside of railing. Adjust accordingly to your rail height so that the table is properly supported and is
horizontal to the ground or slightly angled toward the deck or balcony. The telescoping arm is adjustable every
inch and will fit 36” to 42” rail heights. SEE FIGURE 5A (ABOVE)

The telescoping support arm attaches to the deck or bottom rail crossbar using 1- #8 x ½” phillipshead screw.

Once telescoping support is in place check the attaching straps to make sure they are tight. SEE FIGURE
6A (ABOVE). **If you are now familiar and comfortable with the proper installation of The-
DeckMATE” please repeat entire installation with the tempered glass sheet. If you are completely
comfortable with the proper installation, repeat without the tempered glass sheet as needed. **
STEP 7-

Remove The-DeckMATE” from railing by removing the detent pins and simply lift the frame off the
railing. Place The-DeckMATE” frame on a table top or solid flat surface. Place tempered glass sheet
onto the frame. SEE FIGURE 7 (ABOVE)
Secure the tempered glass sheet to frame using the four glass securing tabs and 4 remaining
#8 x ½” phillipshead screws. SEE FIGURE 7A (ABOVE)
Once glass is securely attached to “The-DeckMATE” frame it is ready to be installed back onto the rail.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS: Your DeckMATE is manufactured using powder coated aircraft
grade aluminum for the frame and will not rust. The U brackets and strap attachments are
made of Powder Coated Steel. Use general purpose glass cleaner to clean the glass and
regular soap and water to clean the frame.
