Cardo Systems Qz is a versatile Bluetooth communication system designed for motorcyclists, allowing riders to stay connected while on the road. With its intuitive controls and advanced features, Qz offers a range of functionalities, including:

only a limited scope of features and functions of your scala rider Qz.
This reference guide may be useful to look up some basic functions and
commands while you are on the road and may not have access to the
user manual.
This Quick Guide can be printed and folded for easy reference, or it may
be viewed directly on your smartphone.

| GENERAL FUNCTIONS
Power ON / OFF
Press for 2 seconds
ON: 3 BLUE ashes + Ascending tone
OFF: 3 RED ashes + Descending tone

In Standby, press for 2 seconds:
• BLUE LED = Full charge
• PURPLE LED = Half charge
• RED LED = Almost empty

2 RED ashes every 3 seconds Active mode – Battery is low

| VOICE CONNECT (VOX)
VOX Activation Speak any word loudly into the microphone
Answer a call Speak any word loudly into the microphone
Reject a call Remain silent for about 15 seconds
VOX Sensitivity
(Default: Regular)
Adjust via the Cardo Community.
High: Use this setting if it is dicult to activate VOX
Low: Use this setting if it is too easy to activate VOX

| MAKING AND RECEIVING PHONE CALLS
Answer a call

Reject a call Remain silent for 15 seconds, or press and
hold for 2 seconds

prompt from the mobile

*This feature is not available during mobile calls
** To use the Hot-Dial feature, rst congure the number via the Cardo
Community.
*** If you have 2 mobile phones paired directly to your scala rider, you will need to
set one of them to use as default for outgoing calls.

Play In Standby, tap
Pause/Stop Press for 2 seconds
Next Track With music ON, tap
Previous Track* With music ON, double tap
*With some mobile phones you may need to repeat this action

| TROUBLESHOOTING
Reboot If your scala rider stops responding, reset it by turning
it o and then on again (press for 2 seconds
)

1. In Standby, press for 5 secs until LED ashes RED/
BLUE.
2. Press for 2 seconds until LED ashes 5 times in
PURPLE.
