The Rayburn Oil Nouvelle cooker has gone through several changes and modifications during its long history, particularly with regard

to the boiler burner.

The actual product featured here, is the MK2 model shown in its original form.

It differed from MK1 models, by having separate solenoid valves for a pilot and main oil feed and used a thermocouple for flame

proving. The thermocouple signal was amplified by a HAWCO relay with individual timing relays.
