BASIC OPERATION
Please refer to a text that appears as under switches when you are going to use the FCB4N unit in the basic
operation mode. On power up, the latest preset is selected and transmitted MIDI message via MIDI out.
(Initial value is Bank#1, preset#1 of mode F1)
You can not program or set any changes on a preset when you are working on an operation mode because
we design the firmware to have no delay when the FCB4N transmitted MIDI messages via a MIDI out. The
MIDI messages are suddenly transmitted once the selected preset is pressing.
Bank and Preset selection
In each mode has different total bank on the function but has 32 Banks maximum. (Bank#1 – Bank#32)
Press
BANK UP or BANK DOWN switches to move/scroll from the current bank to another. The
BANK/PROGRAM display will flash and has no MIDI message transmitted until a preset switch is selected.
(P1, P2, P3 or P4 switches) You can hold on the BANK UP or BANK DOWN switches to/past the current
bank continuous and the
BANK/PROGRAM display will be looping once it is out of limit.
You can selected a preset by press the
P1, P2, P3 or P4 switches then the selected preset LED above the
switch will be on with MIDI message suddenly transmitted.

via a standard MIDI cable. If you need to phantom power into the FCB4N unit, it is available. The circuit has
reserved MIDI DIN pin 2 for ground and pin 3 for supply but you have to jump on a pcb to enable. We
disable the phantom power for protection any damage to your MIDI devices. Please read your MIDI device’s
instruction before enable the phantom power.
