Features
Model: 89026 Humidifier/Ozonizer
Electrical supply: 220 - 240V 50Hz
Humidifying power: 30 W
Water tank capacity: 3.5 l.
Maximum evaporation rate: 300 ml/h
Minimum evaporation rate: 120 ml/h
Noise level: <35 dB
The Ultrasonic Humidifier transforms the water stored in the tank, into
water vapour. The ventilation system built into the machine expels this
water into the dry air, creating the required humidity.
Working principle
1 Operated by remote control.
2 It will switch off automatically when the water has been used up.
3 It can be programmed up to 10 hours.
4 Temperature control: When the machine is functioning, the
temperature sensor can measure the room temperature where it is
installed.
5 Ozone production: To purify and to eliminate germs in the
atmosphere.

A-1: relative humidity:
1 The percentage of humidity in a given space together with the
existing air temperature is what is known as relative humidity, which
is usually marked as '%RH'. Air contains humidity. The proportion of
humidity in the air varies according to the different air temperatures.
The higher the temperature is, the more humidity exists.
2 In the winter, the cold air from outside enters the room and is
warmed by the higher temperature in that room. As a result, the
relative humidity decreases. In this situation it is advisable to use
this humidifier and in that way, increase the necessary humidity.
3 Relative humidity suitable for the human being:
· Bedroom or sitting room: 45 - 64%RH
· Waiting room: 40 – 55%RH
· Room with computers or other equipment: 45 -60%RH
· Room with a piano: 40 - 60%RH
· Museums, art galleries and libraries: 40 - 50%RH
What exactly is relative humidity? Quite simply, it is the percentage of
the water vapour within the air or atmosphere. It is normally illustrated
with 'RH', for example; 45RH. Atmospheric air always contains
water vapour, the percentage of which depends on the meteorological
conditions.
The higher the temperature is, the more water vapour is
retained by the air, this is a concept named 'relative humidity When the
cold air in a closed space warms up, the relative percentage of the
vapour is reduced, which means that the relative humidity also
decreases.
In order to maintain a pleasant and ideal atmosphere at home, we
need some additional water vapour to reach a suitable atmosphere
and an adequate and correct room temperature. This is commonly
known as humidification of the air.
Suitable humidity level
6 Constant humidity: When the relative humidity in the atmosphere
reaches the desired setting, the machine will stop working and
automatically go into pause mode.
7 Water filter: this makes the water clean and fresh.
8 Easily operated disconnection mechanism.
9 Soft blue nightlight that turns on when you connect the humidifier.
The light will stay on continuously while the device is switched.
The nightlight can't be turned off.
Warning: Please follow these instructions carefully to avoid any danger.
1. Never disassembly the base unit without consulting qualified
personnel.
2. If the lead is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer to
avoid any risk or danger.
3. Do not add detergents or chemical products to the unit.
4. Do not change any accessories or parts without first consulting
Miniland or their authorized distributors.
5. In the case of any strange smell during function, please turn the
machine off and unplug. Request advice from qualified personnel
from the Miniland Customer Service department.
6. Do not add water to the tank while the machine is working.
7. Never turn the machine on without first having filled the tank
with water.
8. Do not damage the transducer.
9. Avoid splashing water or other liquids on the machine.
10. Do not expose installed batteries to heat.
11. Place the electronic device out of child's reach in order to avoid
accidents.
12. Do not use oils or aromatic essences. Its use will cause the
cancellation of the guarantee.
Security guide:
1 The plastic part is mixed with NANO-SILVER which is an appropriate
material for reducing germs in water.
2 The ceramic balls can soften hard water, in relation to lime content.
3 The ceramic filter eliminates the unpleasant smell that is often
present in water.
However, this humidifier functions perfectly well without the filter
included.
A-2: Water filter:
Instructions to usage
1 Place the machine on a flat surface.
2 Fill the water tank with water and close so that it is airtight
3 Fasten the water tank to the main body of the machine.
4 Check that the voltage is correct and that it coincides with the
voltage specified in this manual. Plug in.
5 Turn the machine on. When the light on the display comes on,
it will start to work.
6 Press the MAX / MIN button on the machine or on the remote
control, depending on the intensity that you require. This setting
will become automatic when a relative humidity is set.
7 Press the OZONE button so that this function starts to work.
A tree shape will appear on the LCD display. If you do not need this
function, press again and it will stop.
8 Constant humidity: Before you press the HUMIDITY button, the
present humidity level will show up on the display. The humidity
level must be maintained between 45% RH and 90% RH.
Press once and the humidity level will increase by 5% RH. When it
reaches the maximum (90% RH), press again and it will go back to
45% RH. After the desired humidity level has been determined, this
will automatically be stored in the memory. After a 5-second pause,
the display will show the present humidity level again.
If the humidity setting is less than the present humidity, the machine
will go on pause mode. However, if the expected humidity level is
higher than the present one, the humidification will work
automatically.
9 Time settings: There are 5 different time settings: 2,4,6,8 and
10 hours. Press the “TIMER” button. The display will show a clock
shape. The timer will show the remaining time and will decrease by
2 hours. For example, if the timer is programmed for 10 hours, the
display will show 8 after 2 hours.
10 Finally, if the deposit does not contain sufficient water, the machine
will not be able to continue functioning and will automatically stop.
There will be a brief beep during 10 seconds and then the icon
“insufficient water” will appear on the display. Unplug and fill the
water deposit up again, then turn the machine back on.

Maintenance
If the water is hard which means that the water contains too much
calcium and magnesium, there may be white powder incrusted on
the surface and inside the tank. This may cause the machine to stop
working correctly. We recommend you to:
- Use cold boiled water or distilled water.
- Clean the transducer, water tank and base every week, if possible
with a vinegar and then rinse with clean water.
- Change the water in the water tank more often to keep it fresh.
- Make sure you empty the water from the water tank and dry it
thoroughly before storing the unit for a long period of time.
- Clean the whole unit and make sure that all parts of the unit are dried
thoroughly before storing for a long period of time.
How to clean the filter system
1 Separate the filter from the tank cover.
2 Put the filter system into salty water for
24 hours.
3 Take the filter system out of the salty water; shake several times,
rinse it with clean water.
4 Dry thoroughly and store in a plastic bag. Keep it in a cool place
out of direct sunlight.
How to clean the transducer
1 Put 5-10 drops of vinegar on the surface of the transducer and
leave for 2-5 minutes.
2 Remove the incrustation from the surface.
3 Use a clean dry cloth to wipe the transducer.
How to clean the basin unit:
If you find dirt or any incrustation on it, use detergent and wipe
clean with a cloth
